Nessex
'blue girl that isn't Mystique (Sorry, I'm no X-fan)' Destiny Blind woman who's super power seems to be being able to pull of wearing a leotard and thigh-high boots, despite being in her late 60's (Also - she can 'see' the future.) youbastards
Once I have had a go I will post a pic, then if it's any good I will just send you the decal. Sounds good, if you want to send me what you have currently, I can work on it too.
Psyguy
Once I have had a go I will post a pic, then if it's any good I will just send you the decal. Sounds good, if you want to send me what you have currently, I can work on it too. Will do! I made one in Adobe and another in Microsoft Publisher. Neither are perfect but what I have is ok for now. Little update today, mainly modifications or customs that didn't take very long. I am working on some DC commissions at the minute so haven't had much time to customise for myself. Here is Kitty Pryde, made from FA Jean body, 24's Michelle Dessler face and sculpted hair. Black Widow II, Yelena Belova with Captivity Six head and hair, modified X-23 body and Black Widow belt/wrists. Modified Classic Firestar. I made her Avengers version a few weeks ago, and wanted to make the Classic version more similar to her appearances in the cartoon. She has Pepper Potts hair and a Hawkeye mask. I changed the head of the Betsy Braddock minimate, using a Magdalena minimate. I love the original but wasn't sure about the Moon Knight cape on her. Finally, I updated my very first custom , Dazzler, with a jacket and new decal. I was trying to make her look similar to her appearance in the Konami arcade game. I think a few other board members have done the same. Thanks again for looking! Edited January 4, 2011 by Psyguy

youbastards
What did you do to get the curl effect for Kitty's hair? It looks really nice!
Psyguy
What did you do to get the curl effect for Kitty's hair? It looks really nice! Thanks! I cut off most of the hair from the FA Jean mate, leaving the basic shape. Then I rolled lots of little different-sized balls of milliput and covered the base completely. Finally I textured them with a toothpick and the end of a thin paintbrush. I wasn't sure it would work, and I'm sure there must be an easier way, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I can send a pic from the back if you like.

TM2 Dinobot
Man those are good. Irony is that I made the same Black Widow, I just painted flesh on the Natalia version. Same head and everything though.
Psyguy
I can send a pic from the back if you like. Yes, please! TM2, I have a half-painted Black Widow torso in my parts bin. I was going to use it for Yelena before I remembered I had a spare X-23.

Nessex
Sweet J#sus! Dude - i'm always aching for more x-men & more female characters. This lot has both! Great work. Kitty's hair is just superb, but you've really nailed all the characters. If this were a wave from DST, i'd have 0 complaints. Great effort man. Psyguy
Psyguy . . . will you marry me? Another awesome X-Character. Keep em coming! Sure, but you would have to wear the dress. I don't have the legs. Here are my first DC customs. I don't really read or follow DC but it was great to do something a little out of my comfort zone. They are a commission for mrjasontodd, he has kindly allowed me to post pictures. They should be on their way to him within a couple of weeks, I am just waiting for a final part to complete Kyle Rayner. First up is Sinestro in his Sinestro Corps costume. He was made from a repainted Sinestro minimate with modified hair and a chest decal. Next up is Sinestro Corps Karu-Sil. Repainted minimate with modified Champions Black Widow hair, modified Black Queen Jean Grey head with decals for chest and mouth. Finally is Sinestro Corps Arkillo. He was made frrom a repainted Killowog minimate. His hands are modified Lady Deathstrike and his head was sculpted onto the original Killowog head. Here is a group shot of the three Sinestro Corps together. Thanks again for looking!

Psyguy
Sweet looking Arkillo! I love the way you pulled off the sculpted head. Any chance we could see a profile shot of him? Thanks! Here you go. The back section of the head is the original Killowog head. Here's a quick Modern Wasp I managed to put together today. She was made with Gwen Stacy, Rachel Grey and Wasp parts. Nessex, thanks for the comments again, appreciate it. I have made a few commissions so far, these DC ones are probably my most ambitious so far though.
