dukelyon
My theory when it comes to making custom minimates is to make them as close to what I think would come out from dst if they were to release the figure. I've wanted to start my own custom thread for some time, so why not start now. Alan Scott, I made him & re-made him a dozen times & I was never happy with it. Finally I am, so here he is. Ocean Masters cape, Hal's face Aquaman's hair & a Superman belt. Weapon X, I had an extra Cerebro that I had mangled trying to make a Scott Lange Ant-Man helmet, so I crammed a Cyclops visor inside it, filled in the rest with sculpy, baked, painted & had a pretty good lookin' helmet, he's got pegs coming out of his bak & other arm too, & I used a Wonderman belt for the battery packs. Omniman, Invincible's sweet old pappy, some folks might argue that his colors are wrong, but I prefer him in white & red rather than red & that awful spearmint they color him with. He's got Wildcat's hair & a Superman cape with the neck cut out. Many more to come, stay tuned.
Rad
Omniman is great, but would look better if you used the Tony Stark head from the Silver Centurion armour. 'Tache and 'tude all in one teeny tiny head piece. That's still a great custom though. Have you done Invincible too?
UK Collector
That Weapon X is great. Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with in future.
luke314pi
Nice work! I too look forward to your future customs.
Chazwinski
As sick as I am of Wolverine, I must say that I want that Weapon X custom. Alan Scott looks awesome, too.
Cowblaster
Those are pretty great. Let's see s'more already!
dukelyon
Time for some new pictures! Zatanna, this isn't really from any particular appearance, but it looks like something she might wear so it works for me. Cable, I'm not a big fan of the Cable we have from wave 11, so i made this one based off Ariel Olevetti's take on the character from the recent sereis. Bob Harris
Great customs! I especially like your Weapon X Wolvie! Painting his hair must have benn - erm - fun... And Zatanna is very well done as well. (Would you mind adding the names of your customs, so that people that I will recognize them especially since I do have a fullgrown DC-lack-of-knowledge?) dukelyon
How 'bout some customs... Barry Allen, I made him from the ground up so he would look different from the Wally. The Top, I always liked this guy & in my sea of parts I had an extra set of Luther legs & a torso. Weather Wizard, if you couldn't tell I was on a Flash kick, I love the way his Torso turned out. Zoom, this isn't really what his suit looks like, but I thought the gloves looked rad. His colors don't look different in person like they do in the picture. Captain Boomerang, first attempt at sculpting on the hat. What's he a Captain of anyway? Mirror Master, I like the Battlestar key hand. He's missing something though, a mountain of cocaine I think. The Trickster, Flash sure has a lot of stripey villains. Not a custom, but who among us hasn't put the suspended animation Cap in the freezer? Jeff
Some awesome looking customs there! I agree with you when it comes to making them. I tested a friend of mine at work with my aoa customs as to which were the real and which were the customs. Fooled him on a couple. Bob Harris
Boomerang looks great. Good job on the helmet! And I like the details on Allen.
MiniFiend UK
Boomerang and Zoom look great. Everytime I see DC customs I realise how much I miss the DC line.
Hawkeye's Junk
Nice work on the Rogues & Flash!
dukelyon
Time for more... I love the Wonder Woman mini, but I wasn't to keen on the Kate Pierson hair. So I changed her face & used an extra Raven hair & now it's one of my favorites. John Constantine, Hellblazer is one of my favorite books, I had to add him to the collection. Other than the cigarette, he's just a bash out of the parts bin. Green Arrow, his chest pece made him seem so fat, I used a few Wolverine shoulder pieces, & extended his hat. Martian Manhunter, I've got the C3, but for me, there's something off about him, so I made this one from the ground up, mostly from the Ultimate g Green Goblin. How about 2 Plastic Mans er.. Plastic Men? Animal Man, stop what you're doing & go read Grant Morrison's Animal Man series I'll do some Marvel guys next time.
Bob Harris
Sorry to say, but Lego Platic Man Pile wins! Other than that, I really like your Wonder Woman.
boyd
Like Bob said, the Lego Plastic Support Column is a great idea. I also like the new, less-body hairstyle for Wonder Woman. And using the shoulder pads for Green Arrow is a great idea and fixes the bulky chest problem the original had.

Captain Paco
Have to admit that I really like your Star Trek Customs. I am working on a Worf for my custom set. Your Tasha Yar looks like the one I made for my set. I would be curious as to who's head you used for Harry Kim, and do you have a guide for building V'Ger? I like all your customs and the Doctor Series is nice and I wish I could have them in my collection, but I just don't have that skill nor the time. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
