Punisher
Thanks guys. How about a (Universal) Military Monsters update? "During the Cold War, the US initiated a top-secret military branch entitled "Code-Name Creature". This team of "things that go bump in the night" consisted of beings that the world only knew in fiction. Able to accomplish things no man could, this team single-handedly shaped the the path of the Cold War" The newest "creature", a Russian spy code-named Bride. It began in 1965. A Russian sleeper spy sat in on a top secret briefing that was led by "Creature" leader Gill-Man. The meeting gave the spy info on a new creature believed to be located in Germany. Reporting directly to Joseph Stalin himself, the spy was able to gain info and learn everything about "Code-Name Creature". On July 27th 1966, under Stalin's orders, a troop of Russian soldiers landed in Germany, beating the US to the creature. It was found in an abandoned and dismantled laboratory, and taken to classified location. Fast forward nearly 20 years later. The Cold War is at an all-time high alert. With World War III within the finger-tips of the US or Russia, one country has to make the first move. A highly trained KGB agent code-named Bride boards a plane with a destination to the US. Her mission: Assassinate president Ronald Reagan. Edited February 6, 2012 by Punisher
Nervous Rex
Dude, I love the Wolfman! And your Powerman is off the charts. Nessex
Dude - i love KGB Bride and her back story. great fun. I also love the effort you've gone too with your zombie Mr Fantastic. Any chance of a close up of him? EDIT: Typo. Edited February 6, 2012 by Nessex
Punisher
Thanks Nerv and Nes. About Mr. F -- to clarify, I didn't make him just for my zombie collection. He's from my old custom Fantastic 4 (buried somewhere in this thread with a 2.5'' body Thing) that I turned all into zombies to make room for the TRU F4. But I realized I never took pics of my Fearsome 4 so I will do that w/ next update! So, who should I spotlight next? Wolfman, Frankenstein, or Dracula? Punisher
Dracula Blood sucker. Creature of the night. CIA operative. It's 1984. With word of the KGB's mystery agent infiltrating US soil, "Code-Name Creature" is revived after a 20 year hiatus. However, the most important thing being revived would be it's most deadly and prominent member, Count Dracula. After working for CC towards the end of World War 2, Dracula had entered a slumber to be awakened when needed next. 30 years later, he was awakened and tasked on hunting and killing the KGB's Creature equivalent making her way to the United States capital. Unlike the other Creatures, Dracula was not "brain-washed" by the CIA. He agreed to do work with them under two conditions: He were to be able to drink the blood of his victims, and for him to be only awakened direly needed. Un-weary on whether to trust Dracula this time around, President Reagan recruited Quincy Harker, the successor to Abraham Van Hellsing, to keep constant check and watch on him. To the CIA, Dracula is the perfect assassin. He lives in the shadows making him nearly undetectable, until it's too late of course. Not to mention he can get past any security system by simply walking though the door. He doesn't show up in any security camera, secret recorder, mirror, or camera. On April 14th, 1985, Dracula swerved through a crowd of suit-cladded men. The agent was in his sights. Catching up to her, he quickly lodges his Colt .45 into her back. "You're the one alright", he mutters "no blood". Edited February 7, 2012 by Punisher

Punisher
If I drive for you, you get your money. You tell me where we start, where we're going, where we're going afterwards. I give you five minutes when we get there. Anything happens in that five minutes and I'm yours. No matter what. Anything a minute on either side of that and you're on your own. I don't sit in while you're running it down. I don't carry a gun. I drive. From easily the best movie of 2011, I present, The Driver from Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. Seriously, if you guys haven't seen this movie, go rent it. I want to star with a HUGE thanks to dj87 for sending me the jacket, it's perfect for the character. This custom is one of my personal best, IMO. I went all out on the fine details. Not to mention I re-painted that damn scorpion like 6 times. The hair is from movie Cap and the head is BSG's Apollo I included a watch, which comes from the same Rocky the jacket is from. All of the blood stains are movie accurate. I also made the stunt mask from the movie's climax. It's made from a modified Invaders cap mask. Finally, I custom made a hammer, which is just sculpt over a piece of a tooth pick. Speaking of toothpick, I wanted to add one in his mouth, but i couldn't get the tiny end of one to stay glued onto his head without an awkward glue puddle around it, so I just decided to omit it. Punisher
Thanks dj. Driver was featured on toycutter! Today I bring a part of a series I had worked on to submit for custom con, but then lost interest for a while, and then missed the deadline! So what was I working on? Mortal Kombat! More specifically, MK9... Up first is Sub-Zero Being my favorite character, I had to show him off fist. Sorry about the crappy pics. Had to use my old camera for these. Ice blade is a repainted custom sword from an un-finished custom in my fodder bin. Sub-Zero's recipe: Luke's ninja decal head with sculpted face mask Sculpted shoulderpads Odin bracelets Plasticard sash Up next is the character I love to hate. The ultimate d**che bag, Johnny Cage! Seriously, this guy has a tattoo of his OWN name across his chest. But as much as a d-bag he may be, he still kicks ass. Johnny Cage was made from: Harry Osborn hair Terminator sunglasses Rocky belt BUT, then again, his signature move is to punch you in the groin. What a d-bag! I wish I could give him an energy effect, but there has yet to be a green energy blast FIGHT! Zoinks! Next time, the god of thunder stops by. Any suggestions on who should en-company him? Punisher
Thanks guys. I should have a hand-full more of MK mates in my next update. Today we have the first of a few mates based of the art and toys of Ashley Wood. Not sure how many of you guys are familiar with threeA, but they are a toy company that produces "high end" toys in 12'' and 6'' scale of the universe Ashley Wood created populated by War Robots, Zombies, and human clones. The first figure they ever produced was the Nom De Plume, which is what I made. Edited May 6, 2012 by Punisher
hellpop
Cool idea. I've seen reviews of these, but haven't picked up any of the toys (not really my thing), but you captured the look really well. Does this mean you'll be making some atomically correct Minimates?
