karamazov80
These are currently being auctioned off on eBay for Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's charity http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yiSdjwi_bg&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYMyEqRb2cw&feature=player_embedded http://www.ebay.com/itm/Limited-Edition-2011-NIKE-MAG-/320756190632?pt=US_Men_s_Shoes&hash=item4aae8f0da8 I wish they were gonna be made more affordable for fans, but I'm not gonna complain too much considering the cause. Bob Harris
Now I know what Kevin Durant is doing during the lock out... Nice spot and a nice idea for a good cause. The current bid is 75,100.00 which is a little more than I would spend. But since they'll auction off 1500 pairs until early december, maybe... DarkRedShadow
Being a huge back to the future fan(which is what got me into mini mates)I am not willing to pay 75,100,I do hope sometime they have a retail release.Oh and why aernt these self lacing?Nike already got a patent for the technology,And I know it would cost a lot,but honestly the way there selling now, they could have easily made it. karamazov80
75,100.00 which is a little more than I would spend. I am not willing to pay 75,100 Then please step aside for the real fans to post here, who are willing to spend $75,000+ for these Supposedly Nike will release the self-strapping shoes in 2015. I'm guessing another variation of these, along with other shoes using that tech.
Shanester
Very cool, but quite pricey to own. Maybe a regular release will happen for those who want to actually wear these...
MiniFiend UK
The Self tie laces have me intrested. Not on any fashion point but I can see benefits for ppl with mobility issues or problems with their hands so normal laces cause a problem. just place foot into shoe and it laces tightens to fit I can see that being a help to ppl. buttheadsmate
If you know anybody with this disease then you'll know how bloody awful it is & this is a fantastic idea. & At the age of 56 I have yet to acquire the technique of tying shoe-laces in the manner that everybody else supposedly/apparently does . I know that that might not make sense without seeing me do it but over the years many people have commented about the way I tie shoe-laces . Bearing in mind I don't display this to too many folks on purpose ,those people witnessing it always say the same ol' damn thing ..."Why do you do it like that?" . Cause I do ....& it works. battlecat
Looks cool, but my wacky shoe budget is reserved for these:
MiniFiend UK
Looks cool, but my wacky shoe budget is reserved for these: Am I being dense or is supposed to be a Kermit styled trainer? The Image file name confirms it for me. Edited September 16, 2011 by MiniFiend UK
