boyd
Love your Clea - your daughter makes good suggestions. And your Gladiator is wonderful - love the details and wrist saw blades. Are those from a Dremel? But your Vector is outstanding. That's the kind of custom that gives me nightmares, and yet you make it look so easy. SuperChefMate
That Gladiator came out awesome! Though I remember him from when he graced the pages of Captains America for an issue. moo2172
Thanks! I love the gladiator's design, especially the Frank miller era. The wrist blades are the small green backers to girl scout yearly pins. I just snipped them into edges and they were the perfect size! The Vecotr was a nightmare lol. It looked awful after the first couple of colors but cames together in the end.
moo2172
Its been awhile but here are a couple of quick customs: Red Hulk- Quick repaint of the composite Hulk Ursa Major- Just a quick "antique" brush. moo2172
Can you point me in the right direction for pics? I would love some reference matierial to "steal" from lol
hellpop
Sure. There's a site that has all those old Marvel Handbook pages, that were done in a blueprint style and came as looseleaf pages. Here's Vanguard: And Darkstar:
moo2172
Those are great! Whats the page called I will go save it for furture references. THANKS!!

Nervous Rex
http://phantombunburyist.freedomforceforever.com/cripp12/AtoB.htm That's great HP, is there one like this for DC, indie stuff and public domain characters?
hellpop
Not that I know of. I mean, nothing like that, where you've got basically blueprints of the characters. These were published by Marvel in the late 80s/ early 90s as a new edition of the Marvel Handbook (which is why the characters are somewhat out of date... not that it bothers guys like us). DC did a similar thing with Who's Who, but the artwork was more pinup then design sheet. The closest thing to this I know of for DC characters is the visual reference database at Custom Justice: http://dchallofjustice.com/CJgallery/index.php?cat=3 Sorry to hijack your thread, Moo! I stole the recipe from some talented individual here at the site. THANKS!! Mondo

MiniFiend UK
Yay the U-foes. Love em right up my semi obscure avenue.
Nessex
I first saw the UFoes in the Marvel Avengers Alliance game on FB... and have been thinking of ways to customise them ever since. They are a very toyetic bunch & you've done a really good job minimating them.
Psyguy
I have also thought about U-Foes customs, but have never made a start. Yours look fantastic. I was looking through your thread the other day and hoping for an update. Your paint skills are incredible.
moo2172
thanks Psy! Trying to keep up with all the amazing work posted here everyday! Another classic! I was disappointed that they didn't make the classic Falcon in the last wave!
bigvis497
I was real bummed when we didn't get this version since it would have been so easy to do with Falcon appearing in both waves. This is exactly what I would have pictured the variant looking like. Great work!
Ronan The Accuser
Love that classic Falcon, nice work.
moo2172
We have a huge show this weekend (Awesomecon DC) so I get the chance to work on some mates! Rounding out the superfriends with the black Vulcan, A much needed large version of the abomination, I hated the skinny version lol, and a 1980's Colossus that I stole from a talented individual on these boards!
