  1. Forget the other characters, I want a mini-version of "Dummy" with a dunce cap.
  2. I liked the movie quite a bit, which seems a little strange to me since I could easily come up with a list of things that I didn't care for. It's definitely not the movie a lot of fans were expecting. I might be reacting differently if I wasn't aware of the twist going in. I also wasn't sure about the kid, but I think it worked because they played it differently than the cliched kid/hero relationship. On the twist:
  3. I'm more interested in carbonite Han than Fett, so it will sort of be the end of the world for me. Hasbro used to make a fair amount of exclusives but they've went away from that over the past few years. I really hope they don't emulate Mattel here and keep the number low to drive hype. I'd rather walk away from the line before it starts than deal with that garbage.
  4. I wonder if Marvel lets licensees know about some of these changes before the movie comes out or if they just have to see it on the screen themselves. "Remember all that concept art we sent you? Yeah, that's not in the movie."
  5. Wait, we're wishlisting costumes that don't exist yet? That must be some kind of record.
  6. Huh, I see nothing cat like there. The hooves, tail, and head are all bovine in shape. Admittedly he isn't a cow and I wouldn't exactly call him a bull either, not getting into the whole concept of how Battle Beast culture might work, from his build I'd say he looks more like a steer. I couldn't even pick out the horns and hooves at first glance, but I suppose the artist did suggest them a little. The snout is all wrong though and throws off the look for me. Seems to me it should look a lot more like the Four Horsemen's Xetheus, or the Mynothecean Royal Guardsman in particular, but I might just be overly picky with my anthropomorphic cattle.
  7. I'm not sure the artist has actually seen a cow (or bull) before. I would have thought that was some kind of cat man if I didn't know it was supposed to be a bovine.
  8. Punisher having a reversible chest block makes a big difference for me. I suppose the set makes a lot more sense if you think of them as individual characters rather than as an actual team.
  9. Marvel Now! Thunderbolts is certainly a curious choice for a boxset.
  10. Is the Mark 42 a different color than it appeared in the tray photos on Facebook?
  11. For accuracy that would definitely be better, but I actually like this look more.
  12. Well, yeah, if there was an actual Hulkbuster and not that atrocity they're using in this movie.
  13. After modifying Quicksilver I looked through my old minimates to see if there were any others that could be improved with some new parts and decided Assualt Punisher might be salvageable: I used Assault Punisher's head, arms, torso, and hands along with movie Sabretooth's coat, an Expendables belt, random weapons, and a black lower body. Not sure exactly where the hairpiece came from. Jigsaw I had been planning on putting together for a while, it's a Mr. Negative body with new hands and feet with a movie Jigsaw head and movie Punisher hair. Might change the hair on that one, not sure right now.
  14. I'd like the New Warriors, but I'm pretty sure Chuck's 90's love doesn't extend too far past X-men.
  15. I liked sha_ckwave's idea of modifying Quicksilver since the body can still blend in with modern 'mates but I couldn't stand the hair or face, so I swapped with Asteroid M Magneto: Not quite perfect, but think I can put him in my Avengers display now.
  16. Oh, it's still awkward. Among other things.
  17. Jane Foster is getting a Marvel Select figure, so I think it's safe to assume she'll find her way into a minimate assortment somewhere.
  18. They could do this as a boxset: I think Stan is definitely deserving of a minimate, but it's pretty unlikely. Kirby would be deserving too, but that's really unlikely.
  19. I think I'd be more interested in that idea than these other armors based on what I've seen so far. They seem like uninspired toy designs rather than serious movie armors to me.
  20. Looks like EE has added a lot of preorders since the promotion started, so buying 153 seems a little less insane. How is the paint on the new Marvel pops? Funko seems willing to sell pops with such poor paint jobs that I feel like it's a real risk to order online.
  21. I think classic Cyclops, and the rest of that X-men team, would be better as a full wave of their own rather than as part of a "Best Of" wave.
  22. I hope I'm more interested in additional armors when I see the minimates, because what I saw in the trailer was underwhelming. They seemed more like a bunch of Hasbro Iron Man variants than movie armors with real thought put into them, except for "Hulkbuster" which is just hideous.
  23. I'm sad that the "Hulkbuster" concept is actually going to be in the movie. So ugly. How hard is it to just use the Granov version?
  24. Out of curiosity, how would DST determine that lackluster sales of Series 42/TRU 12 had to do with post-movie fatigue rather than other issues, like overall character selection? I can certainly understand why that might be true, it just seems like a hard thing to determine. Obviously there's feedback from us, but we're a pretty small portion of the customers.
  25. I don't think of Machine Man as being important, but he seems like a character that DST would really knock out of the park with extra accessories.
