  1. The truth is out there. Minimates should be too.
  2. Even if they are available through Diamond, it's still a pretty big turn off. I'm getting a case of the AoU blind bag assortment, but I wasn't planning on going that big on Predator, just one of each. It'll likely be none of each of I won't know what I'm getting. Blind bags are a bs gimmick.
  3. Blind bags are a pretty serious put off. I may not collect that line.
  4. In the TF thread Zach said this deal is directly with WB, so that answers that.
  5. I'm all on board with this. I really enjoy the show, and I think there are enough visuality interesting characters to keep the line fresh.
  6. I would think so, but I would still like to know more about how they do licensing with Fox and NBC/Universal on things like this. I would think at the very least DC would have given DCC right of first refusal or something similar, but you never know. One or both may have full merchandising rights. (I know that Constantine is now over, but I've enjoyed that more than the other current DC shows, and would love for DST to do Constantine in Select and a box set or two of minimates.)
  7. The story takes place immediately after the Waynes are killed, so Bruce is still a kid. No real costumes.
  8. I've enjoyed the show, and I'm looking forward to seeing how DST translates these into minimatees. Penguin, Fish Mooney, and Selina seem like they have the most striking visual appeal. I think Gordon, Bullock, and Zsasz would be pretty cool as well. And, of course, the chance of minimate Alfred is pretty nifty.
  9. Gotham isn't super exciting, but it's exciting enough for me. I'll happily buy 'em. I love the show.
  10. I think BSG helmets would be too clunky. I think an Iron Man helemt sans face plate could work.
  11. Yeah, being exposed to Batman '66 before any other onscreen Batman, other than Superfriends, means that for me, those versions are immediately recognizable classics. Although i wouldn't have any interest in collecting a realistic Batman '66 toy line, minimates would be pretty amazing. Classic rogues gallery. That FA Turtle set is actually... disappointing. I try to support any comic-based line, but these just don't work for me. The feet and hands look really off with all of the clunkiness of the shells and elbow and knee pads. Sometimes sculpted parts can make a minimate, but here it seems to hurt the look. With the animated turtles looking so amazing, these are especially disappointing.
  12. Free health care? Sadly (and inexplicably), no. But at least the lines are long.Kostis, thanks for posting this. I'll contribute.
  13. Happy birthday, fella. We're all a lot less knowledgeable for your absence.
  14. I don't understand what's happening. I feel like when TF is over, I will be more disappointed than normal that we aren't getting DC 'mates. Unless we are, which... I just can't even deal with right now.
  15. The DC license is dead and never coming back, and no Lazarus pit can save it now.
  16. Uncanny Avengers would be cool. Rogue/Brother Voodoo, Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver. Hey, maybe DST could even get them out before the lineup changes again? I'd still like to get Havok in his UA look, with in an alternate scarred face. Great opportunity for a modern Wasp too. You know, throw in a Sunfire/Wonderman set, you got a stew going.
  17. Pota= Planet of the Apes Hellpop gets it. The return of DC mates would be the most exciting possible announcement. Whatever the license is, I'm hoping it's either another comic property or another sci-fi property.
  18. I'd buy every single one of those, but when it comes down to it, one set would finish Alien off perfectly: Dallas, Ash, Lambert, and Brett. Anything else is icing, but some space suit icing would be especially tasty.
