Never say never when it comes to minimates pro wrestling. I might have to amend some of my prior statements after watching Main Event today. The Divas Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender was god-awful. I still think there are some really talented female performers, but there's also a lot of garbage. I hope AJ Lee isn't leaving. She lost her title pretty uncerimoniously and it doesn't appear that she's getting a rematch. Maybe she's out the door with Punk.

Well good luck convincing people of that. Everyone around here loves Digger and thinks that he can do no wrong!

Avengers mates seemed to sell better than any other movie lines (or regular lines for that matter). Maybe that will encourage DST and TRU to offer a little more for A2.

Wow. Last night's episode was really good. I watched it before seeing The Winter Soldier, which was probably a mistake, but I didn't even care because I was geeking out through all the spoilers. Hope the show can carry the momentum it's had lately.

Terrible news. I wonder what the circumstances were. Warrior was not the best wrestler, but he was a hell of an entertainer and I loved him as a kid. On another note, I'm really glad to see some NXT talent coming up. Surprised that Adam Rose is making the jump ahead of some others, but I do like that gimmick and I hope that they expand the roster of his party buddies during his entrances.

Undertaker looked old and slow. The match was really pretty bad except for the shock ending. I'm glad the streak is over. To have a noticeably diminished UT continue to beat current stars would start to make those stars look really bad. I think it works business-wise to have it be Brock. Now they can use this as heat for a PPV match against Daniel Bryan where he triumphs over the monster who broke the Undertaker's streak.

The last time I watched wrestling with any consistency was probably around 1999. My brother recently sucked me back in. We went to a house show a few months ago and Emma & Natalya teamed up against AJ Lee & Tamina. I found it to be one of the more entertaining matches of the evening. I find the best of today's females (Emma, AJ, Natalya, Summer Rae, Paige) to be far superior to the garbage of the 80s and the exploitative crap of the 90s.

I predict that every match is decided by Sin Cara interference. If that doesn't happen: Usos retain the tag belts. They just got them and I can't see them dropping the belts this soon. Real Americans probably end up fighting and breaking up. Divas Match: what are the rules of this thing? Does the first pin win or is it elimination? I've actually been pretty impressed with the Divas division since I started watching wrestling again. It leaps and bounds better than it used to be and I find most of the matches entertaining. I do prefer the NXT roster to the WWE. I'll be pushing for Emma, but I predict that AJ will retain by somehow screwing over Tamina, leading to a feud. Battle Royal: I'm picking Alexander Rusev, but I really don't know. I am looking forward to this match even though it doesn't seem like the stakes are very high and its really just a reason to get everyone on the WM card. The Shield handle Kane and the Outlaws and frolick happily into faceville. I'm not happy about this. I like the Shield, but I don't want them to be good guys. Hoping that 2 of the 3 turn and remain heels (most likely Ambrose and Rollins). I think that Bray Wyatt beats Cena, which begins a Cena heel turn somehow. There's all this talk about Wyatt wanting to destroy Cena's legacy. How do you do that better than making him a bad guy? I'm hoping this happens, but would not be surprised to see Super Cena bring down the evil Wyatt family. Brock vs. Undertaker: I have the least interest in this match. Undertaker streak remains untarnished. At this point, I can't see them giving him a loss. How many more years can this ridiculousness go on? Bryan vs. HHH: Hunter gets the win by cheating and moves on to the title match. Later, Vince McMahon or maybe Hulk Hogan announce that due to the unfairness of HHH's win, both competitors will be part of the main event. Title Match: I think Bryan is victorious in a sea of YES chants, but it almost seems too obvious. So instead I'm going to predict that Bryan gets screwed somehow, Batista wins the belt and carries it through the release of Guardians of the Galaxy.

Was Christian's concussion legit? Seems that way. Does that mean he's done now?

I'm with you, but I thought I read somewhere that the creators were anti-merchandising to a certain degree. (I know there are some t-shirts out there) Or maybe they were just anti-Saga movie or TV show. I can't really remember. If they ever did become minimates, I hope DST would also make a bank of the Giant with enormous testicles in scale with the figures.

Nothing in Albany, NY, but oddly enough they had a full case of Wave 50 . When I went to check out, they didn't register and the cashier was really flummoxed. His supervisor came over and seemed to just take my word for it that they were $4.

My solution is to steal usernames and passwords from family members who still have cable. I use my mother's so that I can watch The Walking Dead online on Mondays. Most channels have a site or app where you can watch their shows for about 30 days after they air.

Batista vs. Orton would definitely be a disaster. Batista's gotta go heel and Bryan's gotta get in the main event, maybe a 3-way match. I'd like to see Punk come back for WM, but who knows what the real story is with him right now.

I wouldn't mind 2 more Dales. One-legged prison Dale and No-legged, crazy facial expression, "Tainted Meat!" version. And yes, I'd buy a 4-pack of that Dale with 3 Hunters (1 with an interchangeable Luke's Toy Store t-shirt)

Seems like at this rate we'll be caught up to the comics before we know it. There's a lot of great current characters to make like Negan and tigers and whatnot, but I'm guessing at that point they'll have to go back and fill in holes like Jim, Axel, Allen, Billy, One-Legged Prison Dale, etc. I'm hoping this line has really long legs.
