  1. There is an expression I know you've heard & it's 'No smoke without fire' . This is perhaps a hoax but who benefits from its perpetration ? Plagiarism threatens all forms of writing ,music & all the arts. Bringing our attention to it will perhaps keep us more vigilant. Well done TM2 Dinobot, thankyou!
  2. I am enjoying Dr.Who more than ever & particularly enjoyed the 'Gaelic' references each time Latin was spoken by the Doctor or Donna, status quo, caveat emptor, ipso facto......very funny. Even funnier was when the Romans started saying Modern Welsh expressions ,look you,doo doo, there's lovely.....priceless. I'll say it again, this is THE golden time for Doctor Who. I like Donna & I believe we will soon find out that so does the Doctor .... big time
  3. We will happily sign & make that 159 . Please send this to Paris & I in our cell
  4. My hobby leaves me with $500 left to live on each year
  5. I've been meaning to ask this for ages...so anybody collect this?
  6. Not only is that a brilliantly accurate rendition WB but you actually called him M..A..N..D..A..R..I..N.....friggin awesome
  7. I ran a printing company for twenty-odd years in the UK & copyright was always something we had to be careful about. People would often ask us about using various images(etc.) that they didn't own & it's a bit of a minefield. I've just read the links & the replies TM2D highlighted & this is all a bit ambiguous. I was going to present a few facts about copyright law ,as well, but I have also Wiki'd up about US copyright & it is currently quite different from UK law! I quote merely an example (according to Wiki) 'In the US all books & other works published before 1923 have expired copyrights & are in the public domain' which is as far as I know quite different from the UK ! The way I read the Orphan Works Bill is that if nobody is claiming copyright then anybody* else can. * Skynet....sorry Google... Legalised bootlegging in effect
  8. With respect ,do you want to think about that question a tad more?
  9. Early pics are unavailable but here's what the Crimson Dynamo looked like & here's a couple of Man-drain (I know you meant Man-drain & not Man-drian)pics oh yeah.....here's one of the Mandarin Average retail on the Man-drain.......priceless
  10. With 296 to go..... these will make the 'Full Monty'. These are great but they so remind me of them.
  11. BBTS is currently selling these at about £18 inc. shipping. The only ones currently available on UK ebay as a set of 8 are 5 pence short of £40 I've said it before Dan,buy a couple of items & save with combined shipping. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BATTLESTAR-GALACTICA...7QQcmdZViewItem
  12. Absolutely brilliant esp. Kato & GH.
  13. Looks like a great place to play catch up on your collection but I find the BSG Wave 2 items pricing very wierd .......variant by itself is only a few dollars less than the set of 4,leave the variant buy the set(inc. variant).
  14. good christ...someone get this thread back on topic! I'm afraid Christ is still getting over Easter but as I'm one of his fans I'll try to help............. Strictly speaking this is a 'Wacky Palz' pic & has been on my profile page since I joined, unfortunately (maybe fortunately ) this is the only copy in existence. AMOW! Heres an ad for a Silver Cyclops as well .....now she's 9.9 Right now we are back on topic
  15. A wave is generally 3 'common sets of 2' + 1 set which contains a duplicate 'common' + 'a variant figure'. Retailers buy a 'case' of 12 sets of 2 figures. These 'normal' cases contain 4 sets of 'A' ,4 sets of 'B',3 sets of 'C' & 1 set of variant. In a nutshell each case contains 1 variant pack. With a custom case there are 3 complete waves (3 x each set inc. variant). Got that? yes...? so its just more varients? Yes ....'just' more variAnts . There are 'just' 2 more variAnt packs in a custom case, making 3 variAnt packs. Perhaps I should emphasise that the cases cost roughly the same as a standard case which contains 1 variAnt pack.
  16. I search that one out & play it regularly, brilliant.
  17. it looks really cold in that picture as it seems to have caused some shrinkage in Mr Spider-man's "web shooter"........ I saw this a while back but it looks like they've deleted the 'naked' Dr.Octopus ,the one where he's got the 4 mechanical testicles...
  18. She was obviously pretty special to receive accolades from 5 members in the first 5 posts who obviously were here from the very beginning of this forum. Unprecedented.
  19. http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...amp;#entry68570 Now..... earlier today you explained your name. Something about ...'looking like a pole'.....if you look like the pole do NOT send me a PM however if you resemble Six... Don't worry, I promise only to post minimate pictures on here. I did get a 9.4 on "Hot or Not" though! Only 9.4 ?
  20. 'The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long and while it goes against the grain,it's better to burn out than fade away'. I have read more DC comics in the last 6 months than I have read in the last 30 years purely because of DC Minimates & my enquiring mind.......I hope you see my point.
  21. Au contraire, mon ami Timbo! Cornerstore are also doing them.

  23. I have actually wanted people to say 'nice things' about AF Spidey for ages. I took the opportunity today because no -one else seemed to have taken to him like I have. 'Retro ' is such a shite word but he's so .....retro.....so flippin' 'Kirby'.Love it.
