3 'crotches' & your are out.

Wow really? We used to have one in a little village near where I grew up (Grown up in this case is subjective!) as late as the mid-late 70's I'd have thought that in your 'extended maturity' would have been more likely to seen one. T. Salem? Never been there!

Which Tardis shall we have though? http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/~trekker/policeboxes/ Now I'm researching Police -boxes ......I've lost it! .....& no,I don't remember actually seeing one. If I had I'd have p*s*ed on it

In more ways than one I am old school Marvel & when I was a kid, Captain America was, to an English kid,OK but not 'up there' with Iron Man & Thor. Either the comics(in general) themselves or perhaps I lost my/their way for a long long time until a friend of mine gave me the latest issue of 'Captain America' a couple of years ago. It was the first Marvel I had read for quite some time & I was even complaining about the glossy paper.............. "For f**k sake get to the point" ...........OK ....OK.....I'm back into reading comics & the point is that the Captain America comic-book has been brilliant for ages & the time is ripe for a film. Captain America personifies the USA as we (Johnny Foreigner) hopes it could be & hopefully will be again....is it just coincidence that he's dead at the moment? I've just read 're-booted' Thor(1-8) & apart from that helmet (WTF) it is truly moving in parts . I'm not sure were ready for a Thor film yet though . If someone could come up with the budget I see Thor with his Asgardian cohorts working in the LOR style ,not before. I haven't seen Iron Man yet .....I need to. Neolego....'Hancock' is the name of the film, 'Handcock' describes one or two members here

I know the talent we have here ,surely someone could make a Lego Tardis? After all it is just a box.

If AA still made 8 inch figures...?
buttheadsmate replied to ramseesthegreat1's topic in Marvel Minimates
I really don't think that size matters I tried to help the thread along with my addition of the Watcher but if there now has to be a regulation size(XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL perhaps) then start another thread 'If AA were to make a 10 inch figure....' .....& his name is 'Ego,the living planet' though 'purple planet guy' has a certain ring to it If AA were to release a 10 inch version of 'purple planet guy' I reckon they would literally 'roll off the toy-store shelves'. A perfect example of Maxi mate articulation .......none. Ego....I like that  I wonder if he's bi-polar? -

Reminds me of an old, incredibly obscure WWF wrestler from the 1990s named "Mantaur." http://www.retrojunk.com/details_articles/145/ You ain't gonna believe this That IS the landlord of the 'Boars Head'. He was mean. Real mean. When business was bad he used to throw people INTO the pub -

I've become quite philosophical about AFX,although I've had some bloody awful service from them they have given us some pretty darn good exclusives this year. I used to consider their shipping expensive but their shipping is no more expensive than any other. Each time I have had a problem,I've emailed & they've responded positively. Just recently their stock levels seem dire & I genuinely believe that they are now concentrating on what they consider to be the best sellers.

Wonderful stuff. The Red Skull's latest clone of Cap attacked by cylons.

Technically not a costume but Ice-Man's original 1963 'form'. For the first time I had my own amazing teenage superheroes including.........'the amazing-white- blurry-mashed-potato-portion person' .....WTF was that all about?????? For those not sure this is the worst. -

What happened???? -
Having not seen him in the flesh yet ,I have this to look forward to The underpants remind me of his 'Y-Man' incarnation from the 1974 Y-Men Mini-Series 'The 3 Y's-Men' . I still think #3 , ''Y ' Front against the X-Men' is a classic, only surpassed by # 4 'Stark Naked'.

I have had a wonderful idea Somebody ought to make Minimates that are encased in soap .....what's more they could be called ........Bathmates. Perhaps the DC line could make a come-back with a Series 9 line-up which could include Bathman ,Bathgirl , Soapierman , Flash , Drainiac,Lex Loofah, etc.etc. Marvel could have The Incredible Plug, The X-Foliators & the Sud-Mariner. So what do you think ???? update: I have had a few questions regarding this which I would like to try & answer : 1.Shanester: I think that your idea for the second soap- themed Madonna box set is a great idea! Not sure if the name will work ....the Scrubber? 2. Winkerbean: I am sure a soap-mate comic-strip would work very well although I am not sure how you would deal with the speech-bubbles. 3.Super Spider Piggy: Your idea (Soapmate?) .....is never likely to ever happen is it???!!! 4. TBT: Yes the drugs are helping. 5.Karamazov: Yes I am clean round the bend. 6.MOC : I will try & force the item you mentioned ....up where you suggested. 7. Rad: Sorry. 8. Dan: Yes they will fit if you liberally apply petroleum jelly. 9.TM2 Dinobot:Yall think DST would clean-up (financially)if these were produced? 10.Reideen: Soapy bubble is cockney-rhyming slang & people are continually asking me if " I want some?" So what else do you think would work well???!!!!

Didn't like Palz then? Without Palz I wouldn't have discovered 'Mates & I wouldn't have joined the MMMV! .......oh I see My opinion of this Batman? I think they're better than Lego....is that OK?

what doe's this mean for minimates
buttheadsmate replied to winkerbean's topic in The Minimates' Arms
In the world that exists outside of the MMMV, I am a meat-eater. I have a livestock farm which rears livestock. I try never to think about the bit that happens between raising livestock on a farm & eating & enjoying cooked meat. In the world that exists outside of the MMMV ,in a place called China I realise that there are perhaps hundreds of real little human hands producing the toys I cherish. I wonder if the owners of these little hands have happy lives,I hope so. I try not to think about it. What does this ( shortages in China )mean for Minimates?..... was the question you asked. The answer is probably ....more expensive Minimates. The reality for the ordinary people in China ? ......I am trying not to think about it
