  1. Thanks Fujis & Dan. I'll need your addresses to send the cheques on Every time I see the participant's name 'the punisher's brother'...I smile. Frank's brother
  2. It's the green isn't it? Isn't it the green? I think it's the shade of green,I think somebody was given an old Pantone Colo(u)r Book. It is the green.Definitely just the green, nothing else is too much wrong except the green. The Hulk is the wrong 'shade' of green.
  3. I now have a picture in my mind of multiple brains..... eating Spider-Man.
  4. Kubricks in their boxes are pretty resilient, everything will be fine. If only all online-retailers took as much care as AFX
  5. Apart from swapping a couple of heads hither & thither I've never got too involved with customising....my loss. I am amazed what some people here can do so when I elected to produce a Manimal I really dropped myself in it. To start with I chose a camel which was probably the least-inspired decision I could have made. I really persevered for about 5 minutes & then spent the last few weeks 'with my head in the sand' wishing I hadn't opened my mouth....let the customisers do the customising! Fujis has been really patient & encouraging with comments like " ...get a move on you prick" & " why f$&cking bother" ......so I persevered & today I started again from scratch. Out of the window went the camel idea (shit of the desert) & in came .....something that needed little or no paint ,a modicum of imagination,no special skills but bags of fun. Here's the result....G.I. RAFFE I'll stick my neck out & say that I perhaps won't have to bid too high to retain ownership in the auction
  6. Don't let him fool you or tell you otherwise this is actually a pic 2/3 of the way through BHM demonstrating his infamous elephant impression. T. ..or TBT's reaction to the words ....."it's your round TBT"
  7. My PC died January 5th this year. One clap of thunder provoked a power-surge that zapped everything including the power-surge protector. The insurer paid out but I've never bothered to replace it,I just use my girlfriend's now.
  8. Because of the way Medicom obtains the licenses ,Kubricks are not generally available ,for retail, outside of Japan. Many of the exclusive 'mail-away' items ,for example, can only be purchased from & sent to a Japanese address! K,have no reservations about buying directly from Japanese (or Asian ) ebay merchants ,I have never had a problem & the majority of my Kubricks came directly from Asia. This particular 'Indiana' item is very similar (identical?)to a previously released 'secret 'item, some years ago, from the Kubrick Series 2 ...........Star Wars Series 2
  9. I can't wait to see the footage from the apartment below
  10. Superb stuff. I have absolutely no idea who Donna Troy is(...off to google) but I just love the ' ....and painted starfield detailing'!
  11. As this thread spirals downwards with vast inputs of irony & sarcasm, measured with more than a hint of naivete, I'll stick my neck out & say that all these items will find their way to AFX after SDCC. I no longer have my neck sticking out . All three sets are available for pre-order from AFX .
  12. It is a terrible error that people may be reading your typically silly, insubstantial blathering, unlike those people who are fortunate enough to enjoy my fascinating contributions .
  13. Thanks for the link. These are truly stunning but why oh why aren't all of these commercially available?
  14. You should be so lucky... lucky lucky lucky... Besides neither of you are mnimates! T. p.s. yes that's a deliberate typo just to rile you et tu TBT.
  15. How about buttheadsmate & Kylie Minogue
  16. Spel chequer? K ,I have cringed over my inane flamenco post all day .
  17. The only way of buying Kubricks that I know of is ....expensively. THEY are geared up for it,THEY are a club. YOU will not enter this club & undercut. I buy opened/identified as this is the only way to buy them without too much hassle & not get too embittered & cynical about the whole damn business Perhaps the cheapest way to buy the buggers is.... after they are 'hot' &...... only buy a complete set including chases....including all the chases.
  18. Comedy is strange . Blackadder is wonderful yet Mr.Bean (for me) would get both barrels. Totally agree... I guess it's down to the writer rather than the actor... I don't like Atkinson, a friend of mine once asked him for an autograph (back in the blackadder days) and his response was simply to turn around and tell my mate to fuck off... I've heard other stories along the same lines too. T. Even weirder is that if someone like Cleese told me to '...Off ' I'd take it as being touched by God....a compliment perhaps! I'll perhaps take it to another level. I loved,I mean loved , Dana Scully, yet Gillian Anderson is..... OK. You know what I mean ??
  19. Comedy is strange . Blackadder is wonderful yet Mr.Bean (for me) would get both barrels.
  20. In my opinion, Fistful is by far the weakest of the trilogy, with TGTBATU being the minor masterpiece. I think you will be even more impressed with the sequels--then see Once Upon a Time, and be blown away. For those looking for these on DVD - TGTBATU just showed up in the $5 DVD bin at Walmart along with Fistful of Dollars. Now I just need to get FAFDM ......isn't TGTBATU the Black Panther's brother? ......you need to get FAFDM ? I'd like to get F*$k%d And F*$k%d Daily Man ,as well Oh..... they're acronyms
  21. I am one of the main critics of Davies' 'agenda'. I must stress that I have always tempered my criticism by acknowledging ,as you do Rad, that he has done a superb job of re-booting Dr.Who. I shan't start up about it again but there can be no denying some of the sub-plots are flagrantly gratuitous ...........except the ones with Kylie in them.
  22. I have collected PALz & Kubricks & long ago came to the conclusion that the 'blind-box' system is actually a subtle version of Multi-Level Marketing....buy the cases from the wholesaler ,open the blind-boxes & then corrolate your own complete set & then sell the rest off to whoever & wherever as opened boxes with disclosed figures.I have never succumbed to this method but I have occasionally bought cases when cheap. I cannot be specific about the Die Hard PALz but it is claimed that the 1:64 chase figures in the X-Files PALz were produced in very small numbers perhaps less than 150*. This claim is made in various ebay auctions hosted by Condogcollectibles http://cgi.ebay.com/PALz-X-Files-2-Quantic...id=p3911.c0.m14 *If its true then I have about 20% of all that were made Ivan once posted that he might include a PALz section in his Database ,if he ever does I would be more than happy to supply the PALz for the photo-shoot.
