The thing I always worry about with clear is yellowing due to UV exposure.

Someone over at SS Freaks posted a custom they made by using the HT jointless Chris Redfield body with the Head sculpt and costume without sleeves from this new Thor, it looks fantastic. The only issue might be the rubber cracking in the future that so many have had issues with. I'm happy with my sleeved version though.

My HT Thor just arrived, top notch as usual! Now I only need Hulk and IM Mark VII to round out my Avengers team.

Looks like Marvel didn't like that one, they yanked it. I'm going to throw my guess out there that the Extended Box set is a Disney Store exclusive, I'm loving that Disney has jumped on the Minimate train.

Thanks for the info Zach, the Whiplash armor absence makes total sense now. So are we going to find out anymore info on the "extended" box set soon or is that going to be late April like the embargoed 'mates in the TRU packs?

Anyone that bought the Hobbit dvd/blu ray watch the live event today with Peter Jackson? They showed rough clips from Desolation of Smaug and PJ answered questions from twitter and video questions from youtube. Stephen Colbert even posted a video question, it funny. The second movie looks great thus far, I cannot wait to see a full trailer.

Yes, the Iron Patriot includes two head, one with the LED eyes and one with a removable faceplate with a Cheadle sculpt under neath. Most of the HT IM figures include a light up helmet and either a helmeted face sculpt or full head sculpt. @Zach I'm guessing he is saying that this comment from you might be prophetic: "We are not making a figure of Pepper in any kind of armor, but if we make a Pepper, you are welcome to put her in Tony's armor."

BBTS already sold out of their preorders for Iron Patriot, I guess the die cast/price isn't scaring people away. BBTS selling out probably has more to do with people wanting to be able to cancel without a cancellation fee or losing a NRD like they would with Sideshow.

Yikes! I might need to hold off on that one, I hope all the MMS armors for IM3 are not going to be die cast.

Well they are coming in fast now, my HT Thor should be here on Monday. It looks like I'll see the IM3 movie before I have my Mark VII though.

I got my Malibu Attacks set from amazon, so it was free shipping and no sales tax. I'm also not a big fan of the extra non-movie junk, like the little vehicle that comes in the Mandarin Showdown set. There is a Lego Nick Fury in the Ultimate Spiderman set that came out this year, it's close enough as far as I'm concerned to pass for a movie Fury since the design is obviously based on Sam Jackson. Since you got all the Avengers set, you'll have a mark VI and mark VII to put in the Armory of the Tony House set.

HAHA, that's what my math came up with too! On the Lego box art she is just wearing the Mark 42 armor, so maybe there isn't a "rescue" armor.

Thanks for the info Zach, IM3 Pepper can be kitbashed pretty easily with IM2 Pepper head/hair and the rest from BattleStar Galactica Number Three D'Anna. So...then there are still 3 unknown/embargoed minimates from the TRU packs?

Love them, especially the new Tony! So is the extremis soldier also in the other TRU 2-pack like the Chitauri Soldier was in both the Chitauri Soldier/Chitauri General and Maria Hill/Chitauri Soldier packs? I'm wondering if Pepper is one of the embargoed figures, I thought Lego let out a spoiler by what they showed her doing on the box art of the Malibu Attacks set. Edit: Never mind, I actually read the description and got my answer on the extremis soldier

We probably won't see anything on the Hobbit sets until SDCC at the earliest since they are due out in late November. I hope that they don't re-release the two "preview" sets from wave 1 as wave 2 set, thus meaning less sets.

I just started playing this game over the weekend, I cannot wait to get the 'mates to go it! The pics so far look great.

I haven't played a TR game since probably the original but I've heard such a buzz about this new one that I decided to give it a try. Well, it is awesome! I stopped last night when I was just getting to the radio tower but so far the story has been solid and the game play has been very good. I hope they are already working on the sequel because this seems to be quite the rebirth of the franchise. And finding out that there are going to be Tomb Raider minimates is just the icing on the cake!

I hope the removable faceplate is better than the Mark 3 mate. Maybe mine was warped or something but it never looks right, and looks out of place in my IM movie mates hall of armor lineup.
