It's a little unclear what you're asking for here. Are you complaining or asking for advice?

Im not quitting on Minimates any time soon guys. But now I wonder. Were there ever periods of time when you thought you should've just quit this line of toys? Like maybe thought "What am I doing?". Or something like that?

My local comic book shop is just a pain sometimes. Now Minimates are already rare to come by in the Philippines, I can only name 3 places that get them regularly and 2 places where we get Minimates from the early days (X Men Dark Tide, Wave 9, etc. etc.). My local comic book shop only sells the Variant WITH the entire set. So say you wanna buy wave 47 you can get everything but the Brood Infected Wolverine. Now of course you can get the variant off ebay but some people just don't have the money for extra shipping. And now I just heard a rumor they're not even getting the WALKING DEAD LCS Wave 1.

Warner Bros has made good movies. But they haven't made GOOD superhero movies. The corporate hotshots think that they can please us by giving us mediocrity in tights. Besides Nolan's Dark Knight movies they don't do these well enough. Green Lantern blooooowwwweeeeeddddd. Although this looks decent I guess. I hope this basically sets up the path for a JL movie. Heck maybe give us back DC Minimates while they're at it.

How about we make: Best Bulked Up Character, Best License, Best Convention Exclusive? That's all I could think of.

I close relative of mine died recently. I can't say too many details. We're dealing w/ it quite well. Me and him were quite close, and he was fun to be with. Then I wondered how you guys cope w/ this kind of thing. P.S. Mods delete/move this if you wish, I shall not object.

I keep the plastic and the box the same way they are. And I put them in a special corner in my MM display. Sadly, even though I'm a noob at collecting I'm starting to run out of options of where to keep my boxes (I just can't stop buying).

A lucasless movie does sound interesting but I hope they hire a good director/writers(s)/producers otherwise this'll end up like Shymalama's adaption of Avatar the Last Airbender. The prospect of a Star Wars Minimates line is interesting.

Im fully aware that there's a thread that discusses these kind of things but after watching LoK for like the third time it got me thinking. Why doesn't DST/AA make an Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra line? So far we've had Lego, a canceled Fisher Price line, a trading card game and some movie merchandise. We don't really have any proper figures for this awesome series. And who is the best company for making these kind of things? DST/AA of course (at least in my opinion). P.S. If the Staff/Mods/Devs etc. etc. wish to move/delete/lock this thread go ahead, because I wasn't really sure if I'm even allowed to post this.

Im definitely not sure if I'm joining. But this sounds like a lot of fun. Sadly, there aren't too many Minimate places here in the PH and even rarer are arts and crafts stores with the tools for customizing. I can't even make a custom. Im 40% sure Im gonna join 60% feeling that Im not. We'll see.

I know what a Secret Santa is but I've never been on an online Secret Santa this sounds good but just 2 questions: 1. Multiversers from all over the world can join or just Americans? 2. What if I can't get anything on the list?

Im pretty much still a noob here. Can anyone explain to me how this works?

I recently bought the Iron Man and Hulk 2-pack from Wave 45 today the problem(s) was/were: 1. My hulk had paint smudges all over his face. Wiping isn't doing anything. Can someone give me some advice for it's removal? 2. Iron Man's helmet wouldn't come off till I had to pry it off. There were scratches, my fault. How can I remove a stuck helmet next time without resulting to using the kitchen knife? 3. When I got his helmet off there was red paint all over.
