  1. I use the $4 storage bins from walmart, where you can adjust the trays. With 12 slots, I can fit 4-6 minimates per slot, withnaccessories. It's also ideal for Joes or other 3 3/4" figures.
  2. Checked my TRU again today and they had one set left, which included the Thing set I returned last week that had been missing the Ben Grimm head.
  3. Everytime a bird 10 miles away flaps his wings, the ensuing breeze causes my Scorpus's claws to fall off and Arachno-boy's legs to crumble. Still dig 'em though. Want more characters.
  4. These look great and have huge potential! Will they be limited in numbers or something you will be continuing to produce as long as they sell? One with lit alcoves as the printed backdrop that can be combined in a row would make for a good start to a hall of armors...
  5. Probably beginning of year/1st quarter inventory. I believe Battle Beasts showed up twice, buy only in minimum sample case quantities.
  6. Didn't notice it before, but now I can't NOT see it. The missing Ben Grimm head from my TRU set seems to pale in comparison to some of the w48 QC issues I see here.
  7. I know there were only two Bat/Moose in the case mine put out. I didn't count the others, but that one and Gruntos/Snake also had the silver sticker. Stopped by today and confirmed the assortment is 4/3/3/2 with Vorin being the heavy and moose/bat being the short.

  9. Looking at the upcoming Neca Aliens stuff, I can see there being color variants for the various Aliens as well. It'll probably be similar to how the Battle Beasts line is with color variants going to a TRU wave, along with (hopefully) more Colonial Marines.
  10. Found both wave 15 and Battle Beasts today. Got home tonight, opened the Thing set -missing the Ben Grimm head. Yay. Had to make a return trip to exchange it for a complete one.
  11. When Zach said series two had not been confirmed just a few days before toy fair, that pretty much seals the fate of Battle Beasts in my eyes. Timing killed this line more than anything else. A pre-Christmas release would have satisfied both kids and minimate hungry collectors during a mm drought versus post-Christmas release after kids have had their fill and collectors are overdosing on multiple simultaneous releases along with Toy Fair announcements. Battle Beasts then gets the T-Dog treatment.
  12. I forgot I have that playset. I'll be digging that out of the closet today!
  13. As long as there's Fandral, Hogun and Heimdall, I don't care if the rest of the assortment is all Spideys and Wolverines.
  14. So has this panned out yet? People need to get hooked before interest peters out. Time to stop tinkering with the photos and ring the bell.
  15. If I remember correctly, I ordered 1 Thor/Asgardian & 1 Sif/Volstagg, and I ended up with 2 Thors/Asgardians, and one of them was in a Sif/Volstagg box. Not isolated to just you. I ordered 4 Thor/Asgardian sets and received 3 correct ones, and one Sif/Volstagg in the wrong box.
  16. What about some different zombie pieces? Things like hair w/exposed skull, stumps, guts, or even some leg & arm pieces with a mm hand attached to plug into a zombie arm to simulate their lunchtime snack. Also how about some clear throwing effect that say... a shield could plug into...
  17. The Hanna Barbera mates are fantastic! That would be a dream line for me, especially if they were as perfect looking as yours.
  18. You won't miss it. I did this over a decade ago. Between new outlets for getting media such as Netflix & Redbox, as well as an accumulated digital library, I haven't missed it a bit. All I have now is basic cable($9) which I never watch anyway & Roadrunner cable($50+). Personally I love my Micca MPlay Media Player I got from Amazon last year. Plays all formats of digital files, except iTunes purchased(which I play through my iPad HDMI adapter). All I have to do is hook up one of my external or portable hard drives via usb and it's ready to scroll through my library. Congratulations on the switch!
  19. As trades are becoming more popular, and cost effective, I think its a reasonable courtesy to at least wait until after their release to mention certain things that may spoil the experience. I think this should especially be true in a forum thread not specifically about comics, but toys related to them. As I was reading through the back issues/trades myself, I purposely avoided the comic thread for that reason. Thankfully, I wasn't spoiled as others have been.
  20. I love how a thread can go from "new unannounced license & sets soon" to the utter destruction of minimates by the great devil-mouse.
  21. I believe Zach did cryptically say they're working on releasing another pirate ship soon...
  22. That would be Jaxxon. And if they ever finally made a figure of him, I could die happy. They made Shira, Luminya, Fenn Shysa and a few others from the Marvel run, so I guess it's still in the realm of possibility.
  23. I'm still leaning towards Robin Hood. Now, remind me - has Wizard of Oz been ruled out? Being that 2013 is the 90th anniversary, plus an upcoming Sam Raimi prequel, seems like a good year for it.
  24. WB would include Lone Ranger, Robin Hood or Camelot. Robin Hood could also fall under Disney I guess. Don't see too many vehicles with those though... I guess Robin Hood could have a Carriage for the merry men to rob.
