  1. Yeah, I saw the BTS pics/video over at FB& Instangram and...
  2. With some cool accessories and a more "cool" looking figure in the 2-pack, I think a Civilian Logan could work. Admittedly though, he's at the bottom of my list. As for a more ravaged BD mate, well, I don't think it'd be too much of a problem. The more gross looking parts could just be extras to a relatively normal looking shirtless Logan. There might be some legal stuff involved though, kinda like how Marvel isn't allowing Zombiefier versions of their heroes to appear anywhere.
  3. That's good to hear, I'm always excited about comic 4-Packs. Not a lot of Avengers doesn't sound too bad either. There are many corners of the MU that still have potential. Even a Spider-Man wave would be nice, considering the Sin-Eater one was years ago. Needles to say, I'm hoping for an ANAD one at some point (gotta get that Iron Doom).
  4. Well, that's a bummer. I was hoping for a Cap-related box-set, what with Civil War turning out great and all. Something like USAgent, WW3 Red Skull, Sharon Carter & Modern Baron Zemo would've made for an awesome 4-Pack.
  5. Dunno, I think all the movie Logan mates have gotten the civillian look down, though I wouldn't mind an official comic book one. I'd really like a very Battle-Damaged one though. I'm talking torn limbs, bloody wounds, his skeleton showing, all that jazz. As for the Wolverines, eh, I think we can let Daken as Dark Wolverine slide.
  6. Thanks! As for Daken, well, he's the "Wolverine" of that pack, and I doubt Gorgon could carry it by himself. Besides, we haven't gotten this look: Pack him with Gorgon's look from Secret Warriors: And you've got yourself a hell of a 2-Pack. That reminds me how much I'd love a Secret Warriors wave...
  7. Remender's Uncanny X-Force. It's from the Age of Apocalypse story-arc. It's set some time after the events of the original AoA. Magneto is in a wheelchair, Iceman is sorta-evil, Wolverine is Apocalypse's successor, that kind of stuff. And anyway, apart from the characters we have, there were also X-Force versions of Deathlok and AoA Nightcralwer. I'd also take an X-Force Deadpool, to be honest, because it's probably his second most well-known costume, and I think it could both use an update, and let newer fans have a chance at getting it.
  8. I'd take an AoA Kitty Pryde. And I guess they could pack him with some add-ons to make Weapon Omega: They could also pack him with Deathlok, either in his normal or Uncanny X-Force get-up. I'd much rather get him, tbh.
  9. I did add Daken to my list (he's paired with Gorgon), but I think they'd rather market him as Dark Wolverine. As for Laura, I guess a re-release of the Blind Bag fig will prove useful to us who can't get our hands on such figs easily. The thing with Wolverine is that even though he's well-known, he doesn't have many enemies, let alone high profile ones, and at this point, there are very few costume variations DST can do. Weapon X with headgear is a must, but beyond that, the rest of his suits aren't that iconic or interesting. We've already had folks like Sabes, Omega Red, Viper and the like, leaving only characters such as Ogun and Gorgon to be made.
  10. Well, they did put Deadpool in every 2-Pack in the recent wave, even with Cable. And I'd say someone like Domino is more well-known than most of Logan's foes. I'd much rather get some other characters instead of a Logan in every 2-Pack, but I imagine that is such a wave happened, we'd get more than 2 Wolvies.
  11. Well, they did do a Comic Deadpool wave to sorta accompany the film, and we haven't had a Wolverine-centric one since 38, so I think it's very likely. Now, considering we need a Wolverine in every pack, I wouldn't mind seeing this become a reality: LCS: Weapon X (with Helmet and all) / Lady Deathstrike (Classic Look) Brown Wolverine / Silver Samurai Team X Wolverine / Cyber Dark Wolverine (Daken, Solo Book get-up) / Gorgon (Tomi, Secret Warriors get-up) TRU: Madripoor Black Costume Wolverine / Ogun Battle Damaged Wolverine (torn clothes, blood, zombie limbs for X-Treme BD, maybe an extra head with his skull showing) / Wendigo Fang Wolverine / Gladiator
  12. There are enough ANAD designs to fill out an LCS and TRU wave, if you ask me. There are some I'd like to see more than others, but for the most part, the ANAD redesigns are great IMO.
  13. I can't say I'd be a huge fan of that, as these characters do nothing for me. There are certain ANAD costumes I'd love to see, though, namely Doom's new Iron Man armour.
  14. Yeah, Funko has revealed a crap-ton of things, and they keep on announcing certain stuff. NYCC is about 2 weeks away, so I imagine, sooner rather than later, we'll see what DST plans are. I'm not expecting much though, considering the luckster (IMO at least) SDCC packs. I just hope we get something comic-related. I think Zach said that what's replacing the zombie pack this year are the two Netflix box-sets. I sure would love the above four-pack, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Not that a Legion of Monster pack is more likely. DST generally tends to stay away from Supernatural-esque Marvel stuff. To be honest, I'd be happy with something comics related that's rather modern. I'm dying for some ANAD mates, and while that's not feasible for a 4-Pack, I'd like something like, say, a Secret Avengers 4-Pack. Or a Street-Level one. Even a Spider-Man one with characters like modern Black Cat, Kaine, etc, etc.
  15. Cullen Bunn is the writer. All the others are the artists.
  16. While I'd love some AC mates, what I'd die for at the moment would be some Miracleman mates. It'd make for some funky box-sets. I just got done with the Moore stuff, and I'd love to see certain characters.
  17. Well, in that case... sign me up for the Sci-Fi Pack!
  18. When it was announced, I thought it was going to be a new ongoing. Now, I see it's another "mini-event" ala Standoff. Maybe a title will spin out of it, but considering how short-lived Howling Commandos was, I'm not that optimistic. I'd love to see some new Supernatural mates, but I don't think we'll get anything.
  19. I'm correct to assume this is only for folks who haven't participated in the other giveaways, rightt?
  20. Moon Knight makes everything better. And I mean everything...
  21. Alright, I'm gonna go first and showcase my presents for this year's BE. First up, we've got two trades from All-New Marvel NOW!, namely Waid's second DD Vol, and Aaron's Jane-Thor: I thoroughly enjoyed both, Daredevil for the storytelling, and Thor for Dauterman's whimsical art. Oh, and, needles to say, Dario Agger is now in my Top 10 villains... Next up, we've got a couple of mates plus a custom Lego Moon Knight: MK sits in my desk, with Falcon replacing my old, damaged one (thanks a ton for that, you're literally a lifesaver, cause my first one had tons of QCs), and WS is on his way to become Bucky Barnes: Man on the Wall. Now, we have the Mirage TMNT 4-Pack, plus the Spider-Gwen/Iron Spider pack: The TMNT pack was a must-have for me, because these are the Turtles I always wanted. Sadly, the Spider-Gwen pack I had already bought, but I found the perfect opportunity to channel my inner businessman and sell it on Ebay for an insane price... Nah, I'm just kidding. I traded with a fellow here for another hard to find item. Finally, here's a group shot: Now, as for my Elephant's identity, using my detective skills, I managed to deduce that he is none other than... Mattallica! And yes, I uncovered that aaaaallll by myself... Nah, Mat contacted me a while back since this thread was nowhere to be found. Turns out, I'm not Sherlock just yet... All in all, thanks for a great haul and I hope your present is just as good! Now I've got to go to work on my package for this year...
