Hi. Shortly after Zach had let us know that they had put the plastic circular stands on sale on the Diamond Toy's website, I had placed my order for a large number of these. My order was placed on September 28th and I am still waiting for the order to be shipped. The replies from Diamond to my enquiries is that due to 'technical glitches' with placing these on their website is causing the delay. Come on! Really. Just wondering if anyone has the same experience or have they received their order? Zach, if you can provide a better explanation. Thanks.

Was this the only reward you were getting? Do you remember when they asked for your address? I haven't received any email asking where they can post my loot to, and i'm a bit worried that if they're sending out rewards as they are manufactured that i may have missed out. No, I have also subscribed for one of the packages with the bunch of minimates. That is why I am hoping we will get them finally. No, they didn't ask for my address since the initial fundraising..

Got the red 88 minimate in the mail today as well. Now if we can get the rest of them before the end of the year, that would be great.

Found them in the TRU up here in Vancouver, Canada. The case breakdown looks like 4-4-2-2.

Thanks Zach. It seems strange that Diamond wouldn't bring this particular minimate (Tomb Raider) series into Canada when it does with everything else.

I had ordered the Tomb Raider minimates series through my local comics store up here in Vancouver and had them checked today with the Diamond rep why I haven't received my order yet. Per the rep, turns out that this minimate series is not being shipped to Canada. First time that this has happened with a minimates series that can be ordered through Diamond and I am not sure what would be the reason for that. Insufficient demand? Anyways, just wondering if this same experience happened with any other fellow Canadian collector regarding the Tomb Raider seires. Guess I will have to get this series through either Luke or ebay.

I was able to find all 4 packs of Wave 16 in a TRU store in Vancouver, Canada. Refreshing change for it to be distributed in Canada first before hitting the US stores. Previously it would usually take at least 2 months before hitting Canada. I had always thought it should hit Canada first if they were being shipped from China. Logically the first shipment should hit Vancouver before hitting Seattle, Los Angeles or some other US port. Hopefully this trend will continue in the future.

Yeah, it is definitely a missed opportunity not having the Silver Samurai in this set. But then economics and time frame probably played a part in this. Seemed like the Movie Mates tend to be very "basic". No time for sculpting new parts.

Hi Zach, Is there any way for those who can't make it out to the various conventions to order bags of those clear flat stands and get it shipped to them? Or maybe have an arrangement with Luke so that he can a number of them for those who are interested. I would be interested in 5 to 10 bags of those (clear flat stands) initially. Thanks.

Zach, any chance of bags of the clear flat round stands in the future? I was hoping that you would offer them in packs of 50 at a reasonable price. Would had probably picked up 10 bags of those. I love how you are including them for current minimate releases but I need them for all of the older ones.

Hi. I presently display my minimates in glass display cases that I have purchased from Ikea. Unfortunately I don't stick them to any base or platform so if one tips over, it starts a domino effect of many tipping over and many frustrating minutes to stand them all back up. Just wondering what everyone else is doing to ensure their minimates keep standing. Do people stick putty to their feet or put them on lego bases? If lego bases, which particular ones? I just want to redo my displays so that I don't have to worry about them falling. I was looking at some lego squares but they are quite pricey for a flat square of plastic dots. I believe DST was looking at some options but haven't heard if they have come up with anything yet. I seen those clear minimate stands that Luke has (a set of 8 for $1.99) but that will quickly add up trying to get stands for all of the minimates that I presently have. Thanks everyone

Hi. As a long time Minimate Collector, I have kept most of the packaging/boxes that the minimates originally came in. I have almost run out of room to display my minimates but the packaging that I have kept is starting to make my den look like a warehouse. I am just wondering for those people that take their minimates out of their packaging, what do you do with the packaging? Do you keep them for future (re)packaging, flatten the boxes or just throw the boxes away? Just wondering if I should start recycling them.
