Just got this lot in the mail today, now I'm only missing Jazz and Mirage. So glad I snagged these off ebay. I also got 10 of the humans and a bunch of tools and weapons. If anyone is interested in the humans, let me know as I don't want them. I have an extra Skywarp too. The weapons look pretty sweet and they are just the same as LEGO, so will work with mates with a little modification.

That's really dissapointing news about the pirates. I was looking forward to the army builder set and had preordered one. I was surprised to hear that TRU is no longer interested in them, as they pretty much sold out at my local store. Are they peg warming at other TRUs?

^^ What he said. I haven't read a comic book in over 5 years, but I still love the Marvel U, and these mates are very colorful and will look nice in my collection. However, they will be prioritized down the line behind current preorders and such. Looking forward to seeing the Iron Man from this set too, based on the above art, very cool looking.

I actually really like the design a lot... Just not for a comic company. Maybe if DC only made stickers, then it would work.

While working on a school project a year or so ago, one of my professors asked of that was the official logo and when I said yes her response was "that's unfortunate." I don't know if it needs a complete redo, I do like the idea of making it different colors depending on the package/line it's being used on. It would be nice to come up with some new versions though, just to get an new perspective. Maybe I'll have to tackle this if I get some spare time.
