I found them with the GOTG stuff. Another TRU had GOTG stuff in the middle of the main toy isle on display. There wasn't even room to add minimates to the display if they had them in stock. I'm sure they are going to end up in some obscure area at that TRU if they even get them in stock.

I have seen many of the GFT Alice in Wonderland comics, but haven't bought any because I don't know where to start with it. I think I have seen three or four Alice In Wonderland stories that they have released so far.

I think The Dark One would make an awesome minimate.

How about an exclusive Minimate Multiverse 4-pack released twice a year? Take donations, setting a minimum amount to guarantee that you get the four pack. If that wouldn't work, maybe do our own Minimate Multiverse collectors club with a yearly subscription. I'm not sure on the costs to do such a thing and don't know off hand if we have enough members to even make it possible. It would be a great way to finish off teams though. Just make a list of all the characters we want to see and then vote. The top 4 get made then. Once most teams are complete then maybe do something like a Brotherhood set or start on a 90's X-Factor set.

That Team Fortress figure looks pretty damn cool. I have a few friends that still play that game on a daily basis.

I have read a few of the GFT TPB's and have yet to see any nudity at all. The story is actually enjoyable. I think people need to read this series a bit before jumping to conclusions about it. It has some great characters that I would love to see as minimates. I just hope they release some of their male characters/creatures as minimates soon.

What is Books A Million? I have never heard of it before.

The Vader one sounds interesting. Any idea where in the timeline that the comic fits in?

Thanks for the rundown Storm. I told myself last month when I started collecting minimates again that I was only going to get marvel, DC, and Walking Dead. Soon after I added Alien/Aliens to my list. Now I have added Kill Bill, Ninja Turtles, GFT, and more to my list of must haves. I think the future is looking bright for minimates. Would I like to see more Marvel minimates announced? You bet your sweet ass I would. I'm not going to complain though. If they are releasing some newly licensed minimates that I don't want then I just won't get them. No need in bitching that they are expanding out more though. Enjoy what we are getting guys!

I picked up all the Guardians of the Galaxy sets today an hour north of you in Janesville, Wi. I tried the TRU in Gurnee, Il. Last weekend with no luck.

I have two, maybe three extra Yondu sets if anyone is having trouble finding them. I will trade for anything I need on my wants/haves trade list. If you don't have anything on my list just pm me with what you do have. I made sure to keep these out of the local scalpers hands.

Here is this weeks haul. If anyone needs a Yondu let me know and we can work out a trade. I will always snatch all the TRU exclusives from this certain TRU ever since I was at a local comic/collectible shop one time and heard the owner on the phone talking to one of his workers that he had sent to TRU. He was telling him to pick up rare and exclusive toys there and to bring them back to the shop. They then mark the prices up big time and sell them there. I maybe go there once a year now since I heard them doing that. I would much rather grab them all and make them available to members here that can't find them.

Yup, same issue here for the past two days.

Thanks for the update! I pretty much only kept up with the Avengers and X-men related comics until after Secret Invasion. Then I stopped collecting everything. I just got the first few issues of Superior Spiderman from a co-worker to start reading. He said it was really good so I'm going to check the series out. I think he has the new ASM series too. I will have to borrow them after I finish reading Superior Spiderman. I have been working with him for two years and never knew he was a big fan of comics. I should give him a minimate or two to show my appreciation for him borrowing me his comics. I bet I could get him addicted to them!

Any chance of getting a non bloody version of the Bride with an included yellow motorcycle helmet?

I am looking forward to this line. I still need to finish Mass Effect 2 someday when I have the time. I just better get an alien stripper in one of the waves!

Updates on current existing ones.

I used to collect them, but stopped in the mid 90's, probably just before the clone saga stuff. I recently got a ton of Spiderman comics in digital format, so I will start reading them at some point. I just read Spiderman Noir and liked it and started on the Scarlet Spiderman series, which after reading the first issue makes me think I should hold off on that one and read in chronological order. So this is what I know, remember from the past: 1) There was talk that Ben Reilley was the real Peter Parker, what happened with that? 2) From what I read in Scarlet Spiderman #1, Ben Reilley is now Dead. How did he die, and is he still dead? 3) Kaine is the new Scarlet Spiderman, why do his powers vary so much from Peter's powers since he is a clone of Peter? 4) I remember there was a reboot of the Spiderman series I think it was called One More Day which changed the Spiderman history when Peter made a deal with Mesphisto. I know this pissed off a lot of people. Is this new history still in effect? 5) After Spiderman's identity was revealed during the Civil War event it was then removed due to the One More Day story, so once again his identity is a secret. 6) Is Gwen dead or not? (the real Gwen, not some stupid clone). 7) Doc Ock took over Peter's body and is now running around as Spidey in the Superior Spiderman comics (and I'm sure whatever other Spidey comics at the moment). Is this the current storyline, or is Peter back in control? Also, how did Doc Ock take over Peter's body, and why is he deciding to be a good guy after all the bad he has done? 8) Is there currently more than one Venom in the Marvel Universe right now? I know Gargan was Venom for a while. 9) What has become of Demogoblin and the Six Armed Demo-Spidey?

I still say it is going to be the Nightmare Before Christmas. I will be so disappointed though if I'm right.
