  1. Which TRU did you find them at? I was going to hit the Bloomington store on saturday. The one by Northtown Mall, in Blaine.
  2. Just got back from TRU, with Hulkbuster Iron Man/Gamma Hulk and Lockjaw/Betsy Braddock in tow. They were fully stocked.
  3. Well, we also have a Hitler look-alike in this wave, so I think it's safe to say Ike and Winnie 'mates will make their appearance someday. Or maybe an FDR Minimate, with Fala as an accessory.
  4. Or, if you prefer, "Paste Pot Pete." That being said, another cool box set would be a New Avengers set with a modern Luke Cage, a modern Iron Fist, an updated Jessica Drew, and an updated Ronin (either one is fine) with a slip-over mask, a hairpiece, and weapons. Edit: Red Ghost and his three super apes would also make a great boxset, IMO. So would the Offenders (Tiger Shark, Baron Mordo, Terrax, and Red Hulk), preferrably with a bulked-up Red Hulk like wave 37's Thing.
  5. My moustache is (probably) better.
  6. Please note that the games for each system are not listed in any particular order. Games marked with an asterisk are ones I never owned. In some cases, I couldn't think of five. NES Legend of Zelda Super Mario Bros. 3 Jackal Base Wars Kickle Cubicle SNES Super Mario World Secret of Mana Chrono Trigger Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Nintendo 64 Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Wave Race 64* Bomberman 64* Super Smash Bros.* PlayStation Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy IX Chrono Cross Legend of Mana Game Boy Color Pokémon Blue/Red/Yellow Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal Game Boy Advance Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Final Fantasy IV Advance Final Fantasy V Advance Final Fantasy VI Advance Nintendo DS Nintendogs New Super Mario Bros. Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver Chrono Trigger DS Wii Mortal Kombat Armageddon New Super Mario Bros. Wii* Super Mario Galaxy* Mario Party 8
  7. TMNT Minimates would be awesome. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original cartoon, not the 2000s one) was, in my opinion, quite possibly the greatest cartoon ever made. I doubt this will ever happen, but I would love to see Chrono Trigger Minimates (not sure if I mentioned this already; my memory is funny like that). I would also love to see (and this will definitely never happen in a hundred-million-billion years) Secret of Mana Minimates. If I had the tools and the talent, I would probably make some myself.
  8. I've never even heard of most of those characters.
  9. That's how much the Bullseye/Moonstone set usually goes for these days.
  10. Jeez, how many more icons of the 1980s is Hollywood going to destroy? Haven't they butchered my childhood memories enough!?
  11. Ooh, good choice. My dream set: The Enforcers. Big Man Fancy Dan Montana Ox Edit: Some other dream sets: West Coast Avengers: Hawkeye Mockingbird Vision (silver version) Firebird Living Lightning Sinister Syndicate: Beetle Rhino Speed Demon Hydro-Man Boomerang Masters of Evil: Baron Zemo Melter Radioactive Man (classic version) Black Knight (Nathan Garrett), preferrably with his winged horse And, as a bonus to complement the Masters of Evil set, a 2-pack with Enchantress and Executioner. Kang Through the Ages: Kang the Conqueror Rama-Tut Immortus Ironlad
  12. Currently playing FrontierVille on Facebook. It's very addicting, to put it mildly.
  13. Me. Everyone on this forum is welcome to add me, if they wish. Edit: And if anyone here plays FrontierVille, I insist that you add me.
  14. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to you and your family, Jeff. I hope everything will be okay.
  15. I must say, this looks downright awesome. I'm not real crazy about them bringing back ultra-cheap combos (in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance through Armageddon, there was a limit to how many hits/how much damage a combo could do, after which it would automatically stop), but it still looks like a lot of fun!
  16. I read that one, as well as the first one. Great books. Still need to read the rest of them at some point. As for me, the most recent books I read were Somoza and the Legacy of U.S. Involvement in Central America and Paraguay Under Stroessner (in conformity with the "no discussing politics" rule, I won't go into any details), as well as a few adult joke books. Disney Adventures? Now there's a name from the past. I used to read it, too, back in the day. I think I might even have a few copies somewhere.
  17. Thanks, guys. Until today, I kept them all in a shoebox, but now I moved them into empty dresser drawers, and I have them all spaced a bit apart from each other. Do you think they'll be O.K.?
  18. Or rather, what kind of container, if any, do you store them in? I noticed today that my battle damaged Mark III Iron Man (from the "Hostile Takeover" set) had a sizeable amount of paint chipped off his face, and I want to ensure that this doesn't happen to any of the others. I want them to be kept as safe as possible. Any suggestions?
  19. *screams excitedly like a little girl*
  20. I agree completely with these three and would also add: - Invisible Woman - Thing - She-Hulk - Bishop - 616 Nick Fury - Luke Cage Agreed 100%.
  21. Screw you modern comics. Screw you. That's pretty much how I feel about it, too.
  22. I've never been more than a moderate fan of anime and manga, though I've always enjoyed the three Dragonball series, as well as Slayers. I watched Pokémon almost religiously as a kid, and I still play the games from time to time. As for manga, I've only read Dragonball (I have volumes 1-4, 6, 9, 10, 14-19, and 26-41 in Japanese, and have read all 42 volumes in English).
