  1. Ditto on Abomination. And we need more X-Men. All we have is Wolvie (the worst translated Muggs so far IMO). We need Cyclops, Angel (with cool wing attachment), and Colossus. And not that she's my favorite Avenger, but I think Scarlett Witch could look cool. That's my 5 for Marvel. And since I'm done collecting Star Wars Muggs, the only one I'd like to see would be a Slave Leia (because it would just be so wrong).
  2. It is suprising we've never gotten a Weapon X Wolverine yet. Not that I really want one, it's just suprising.
  3. They obviously sell well at times because the FYE closest to me hasn't had Cyclons or Spidey/Hobgoblin for a long time.
  4. I have to ask, did you get the obligatory 'invisible eye-roll' that I just assume I am always getting when I mention anything toy related to my wife? It's usually followed by 'Oh, really. That's interesting.', which I know she is always lying about. And yes, I think the Beast was the best of the little news we got. Of course, I'm still hoping for him in an original X-Men boxset sometime.
  5. Ditto. I've got all the Marvel ones so far and have been getting the Star Wars ones in moderation and I'm only getting the main characters. And I'll get an Indy one, but that's it for that line (although a Mighty Mugges Sean Connery is real tempting). I'll probably do a couple Transformers, but I'm betting GI Joe ones will put me under. It's sad that I hope for a promotion at work and think it might make Mighty Muggs easier to collect (among other things).
  6. -Will we see more Trek boxsets after the Mirror, Mirror set or is it dependant on how that one sells? -Has DST ever considered doing any product based on Weird Al Yankovik? With the different parody outfits he's been in it seems that there would be enough variants to keep it from being a one-figure line. -Are there any characters or lines that have been considered, but just didn't translate well into Minimate form? -Which address should people e-mail DST for Princess Bride Minimates?
  7. You'd really have to twist Chuck's arm to get more Spider-Man figures.
  8. Good question (although I don't need a mule). I just want the Mighty Muggs Iron Man, but will be on vacation the days after and will most definitely miss it on HTS. I have always felt the exclusive thing has becomes out of control since people discovered eBay. Oh well.
  9. And to think, I actually gave one of those away once! I will never, ever forgive myself for that. That was worse than my selling one of my silver Pimp Daddy Destros for $15 last year Hind-sight is always 20/20. And a real kick in the crotch.
  10. Just curious if the blanks are getting harder to find or if they've always been this way. I'm getting a green blank from someone and don't know if it's worth trying to get any others (on a limited budget). I'm not seeing much on eBay recently and was wondering what anyone else thought.
  11. Considering you can't find the 1st set anymore and the others seem to sell well, I'd think it was a successful thing. So, are there any Princess Bride sites out there with an owner who'd back this?
  12. I think that they're all pretty hard to find. Except Wolverine. He just kind of sits there all lonely at my Wal-Mart like he's got a bad case of cooties.
  13. It looks like they'll just be showing the prototypes and not selling it. And how long will it be before someone starts an 'E-mail DST for Princess Bride Mates!!!!!' thread? I figure it'll be by the end of the week.
  14. So, does anyone know when the next Marvel wave is supposed to hit retail? I need to know when to break the piggy bank again.
  15. It will help the ones you bought escape the torment of sitting on a shelf in a store. I'm sure it doesn't hurt anything, but whatever DCD has planned is probably pretty set right now. Until they make an 'official' announcement, who knows if we can help or not.
  16. I'm just not sure who would sit around and make 50 levels.
  17. Yeah, I was lucky enough to get a Thor for regular price last month. Doesn't look like it's going to be that easy for the X3 wave.
  18. I've seen them there and almost bought them when I placed an order there last month. It's just odd not seeing tons of these around (like the Spider-Man 3 mates).
  19. Since I wasn't collecting when they came out, can anyone tell me why the X3 Minimates are so hard to find? Were they just not easily available? I know the Logan/Jean Grey one is very hard to find now for a decent price, but the others are still pretty rare to find (it seems). Any ideas why?
  20. (I'm not sure I've seen this asked before, but if so, I'm sorry.) -Has what happened with SFII soured the idea of video game based 'mates or have there just not been any licenses that have worked out for them? I'd love to see a franchise like Mortal Kombat or another video game with a lot of differing character depth in Minimate form-should I abandon all hope? -Also, any more word on more BTTF Minimates? The first set alone is getting harder to find and it'd be cool to see more released.
