Both Titania and Shulkie look great there. Feel free guys. If I had the decal paper and spare mates I would give it a go. Personally I don't rate Shadowcats hair. I thought maybe 90s Jean might work. Got a few others in mind too

After a bit of feedback on this design, its just a draft as I don't feel the face captures the character, think she needs more of an angry scowl and rage filled eyes. The torso seems off too. Maybe the colours too :S Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Surely the speciality line is geared more towards variants like that? Characters that aren't essential to a collection but are still available if you want/need them. Like the above Riker's, different coloured Seven and so forth. I guess I'm just a bit bitter that things like the TRU waves don't make it across the pond

As I have run out of materials for making dioramas I thought I would go back and finish a design I started a while back. As per usual control art then the coloured version. Machine Man Also I trued my luck at making decals for him, which you can find in the decal thread.

Immortus? Does he count? Or Destiny, she's been quite integral to the Marvel Universe. Honestly I'm struggling to think of any villains right now

I'm not objecting to having various Picards, its who he's packed with. Each Borg is with a Picard, so even if a new collector wanted Borgs they would still end up having two Picards. But I guess that's the point of the speciality/TRU line... Not trying to be negative, I'm stoked for the return of Star Trek.

Very true, but does it have to be just TNG? The Borg turned up in Voyager a lot, how about Tuvok or someone, since Janeway and Seven are forthcoming?

Am I the only one a little peeved that to get any of the Borg you also have to get Picard? I love Picard, but I don't need three different versions of him. I will end up with three though

Another productive day! Once again I hope these come out the right size, their are saved as there actual size on my pc... *replaced with an updated version*

Got it all finished, after a few run ins with various problems, quite proud of the console piece which I whipped up on photoshop. Anyway here's Scotty to show it off... And as I got bored...

That's quite a range you've covered! Sugar Man and Mojo have some very creative use of pieces which I would never have thought of. Glad someone got some use out of my stuff, love how Seven turned out, what hair did you use for her?

Got the final version of the base on the transporter built today. Pretty pleased with how it turned out, what does anyone else think?

Since I was quite pleased with how The Guardian Of Forever turned out (still awaiting a glittery over spray I thought I would attempt to use up my left over supply of foam-board and build the transporter room. I'm using this image as my guide: http://startreklives.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/8-1701-transporter.jpg?w=497&h=483 Which resulted in me creating this floorplan: The transporter steps will be cut form three layers of foam board, and the walls from thick card. Not sure on the control console yet. For the actual transporter I will be utilising a printout I found on here somewhere. Pictures to follow! *pictures added* Got the mock up all done with relative ease. Just lots of measuring. Managed to solve a few unforeseen problems which should prove helpful in making the final one and find a few things need tweaking, like making the doors a bit a shorter. I forgot to include the console in the pictures though. Made the back wall removable, which I'm not sure I'll bother with in the long run.

Managed to get The Guardian painted. Actually about three times, the colours I used never looked right to me, mainly due to fact it lights up on screen so it always looks different. Finally settled on a flat grey with the edges stippled with black. Works for the simplified look of minimates but will most likely keep tinkering with it. I couldn't decide whether the black edges should join in the centre, opinions? I did find some stone effect textured paint which I may have another go at it with sometime down the road. Maybe with some glittery paints too. Uhura beamed back up, so here's Kirk, Spock and Scotty checking things out!

Finally got around to actually making some for of custom at long last. Its more of a WIP right now however. The Guardian Of Forever from Star Trek TOS Traced the shape form a picture on line and then tried my best to scale it to minimates, figuring the blocky nature meant it didn't have to be exactly right Then cut the same shape out of foam board three times and glued them together before sculpting thinly over it with air hardening clay. Whole thing is about an inch thick, roughly. Sorry for the blurry photos, had to use my phone for them. Uhura and Spock and checking it out while showing the scale. Just need to paint it now. Not looking forward to that bit...

Thanks, one coat which was speedily dried in the freezer and she's regained her neck strength already. May also try covering some hair pegs in glue to thicken them up and stop them spinning around/failing off. That should work, right?
