I have the GSXM figure, and I mean, when I got him, I loved him. He was perfect... For how Minimates were done back then. But with all of the updated design and tempos, and the sheer amount of detail on modern Minimates, Colossus is the one X-Men (short of Bishop, I guess) that I have that needs an update. He just stands out like a sore thumb. And I mean, he's smaller than Beast, and that's a no-no. However, I do like the look of the figure that WookieFodder posted, so I might lean towards that. That way, Colossus isn't so small. But he's also not Hulk or Juggernaut sized...

Hey guys. I just recently decided to get back into the Minimate customizing game. And I decided that Colossus was in much need of being bulked up. So does anybody have any tips on how to do that? Any bulked-up bodies that might work?

If any of you are in the southern LA section, I found a whole row of these puppies at the Toys R Us in Torrance. But this was at least a week ago. I had a helluva time getting Nova's tiny hairpiece out so I could attach her to flame base. I had to freeze her, then use some pliers (wrapped with packaging material so I didn't damage the figure). But I love this set. Morg is such a cool figure, and Galactus is pretty neat.

I love what you've done here. All of these are fantastic, and I love your backgrounds and set pieces. Plus they're funny to boot, and well-shot. On a slightly unrelated note, I think that Peter Parker head is the best one so far. Now we just need an attractive MJ figure to go with our Peter.

New games for 360 and PS3 are usually $60 here, while Wii games tend to run $50. As far as the Pokemon card things, yeah, I think you're right. Though I more remember the Animal Crossing things. They gave you special furniture... Idk, I think the idea is cool, you get both figures that kids will play with (articulation notwithstanding) and what appears to be at least an entertaining game.

Is that jacket piece sculpted? I've been thinking about making some Portal 2 customs for my girlfriend, and that piece (if not sculpted) would be amazing.

Did anyone notice that Kingpin has sculpted fingers...? Not sure I'm a fan of that. He looks fantastic, but I'll probably replace those with regular minimate hands if I can...

I hope I'm not the only one that finds it hilarious that Black Widow and Pepper Potts are on the Diet versions of both Dr. Pepper flavours...

Whoa! I thought I was the only person to make these guys! My girlfriend is an avid U2 fan, so for Christmas I made her a set of the band! I had problems with finding instruments, so I made mine outta plasticard. Not so good. But those look awesome!

My God they're beautiful... @Menace & Anti-Venom: Not terribly exciting, but I'm always down with adding more to my Spider-Man collection. @Rachel: Again, not terribly excited for the character. But the stands are awesome and new characters are welcome. @90's X-Men: MY GOD!! This is the X-Men team I grew up with (I'm a 90's child), and having them in Minimate form makes so incredibly happy it's not even funny. I haven't received them yet, but when I finally get my Storm, Jean Grey, Beast, Cyclops and Rogue and add them to my Wolverine, Gambit, Psylocke, Bishop, Colossus and Nightcrawler I'm going to be the happiest man alive. I really need to get on building an X-Mansion...

I'd also like to making a submission, if that's alright. This seems like a really cool idea, and I missed out last year.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. And the suggestions on hairpieces. It's been quite a while since I've added anything new on here, but I've just about finished two minimates in my current project. I know the photographs are terrible, but I've been very excited to upload SOME kind of photo to see how you guys react, considering what opposition a proposed official license for this property brought up... Fail sentencing. Anyways, yeah, take a look at these photo's and let me know what you guys think.

And the Scoleri brothers are sold out. Dammit! And there was no restock of the wave at my TRU today. I really wanted those two...

Found Vigo the Carpathian/ Peter and GB2 Egon/ Ship Captain packs. I really wanted the scoleri brothers, but alas, it was not to be. If anybody can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I saw it the other week while my girlfriends stepdad and brother saw Percy Jackson. It seemed like the director was going for a very campy, over-the-top affectionate-parody of old films, considering the roots of the film... And in that sense, I enjoyed it. Not a lot a lot, but enough to praise it if you're into the campy kinda stuff.

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for HALO minimates. Just... Blown away. I love the designs and characters, and getting them in Minimate form is amazing. My personal hope is for them to continue the army-building trend. Release packs of generic Spartans and Elites in the different armours so that they would appeal to casual buyers and army builders.... And PIRATES!!!! AHHH!!! DST is amazing. Get some of Lukes Ninja decals to go along with it and we can all finally act out those battles we've dreamt of for years...

I'm speechless... Those are amazing! Major improvements over the originals. And Sagat's head looks sick! My only criticism is the red painted onto Ryu's hair looks kinda cheesy. Maybe try sculpting a thin bandanna?

Thank you Minimyte. That hot water trick worked beautifully. Also, by paint, I meant when I paint joints. It's no worries anyways, I don't tend to move my customs much anyways to where it's a worry. Also, so I'm working on making the original 7 MMPR as minimates. (Red, blue, black, yellow, pink, white, green). And I need some suggestions for hairpieces. Tommy's hair and Zack's are the most troubles. Anybody got ideas?

So I've got some questions, for anybody who can offer me some tips. 1) How do you take apart a minimates legs without breaking the small pins inside? Is there any easy way to do so? 2) How do you protect the paint on a minimate so that it isn't worn away at the joints? If anybody could offer me some help...

I'm excited about all of these! I don't particularly care for Mohawk Storm, but Klaw excites me like no other. WWH and Mr. Fantastic look like a fun two-pack, and BD Wolverine is long overdue. Overall very excited for this!

How does nobody love the idea of robots for our Minimates to fight?? God,that'd be awesome!

Seems unlikely since the first three boxsets included two Ghostbusters each. So I'm thinking a non-possessed Dana Barrett, Viggo, and then two Ghostbusters.

Personally I found it annoying that the original Spider-Man movies skipped right to Spider-Man being an adult in college, seeing as he was a high-schooler in the comics for so long. So a reboot placing in back in High-School a la Ultimate Spider-Man is a welcome change in my mind. Granted, we'd probably still never see a crossover like Iron-Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor are doing, but it would still work better should that opportunity ever come. But gritty? More realistic, whatever, I can swallow that. Similar to the way Gotham changed from Batman and Robin to Batman Begins. Or something similar. But GRITTY?? Now I'm expecting a dark red and almost black Spider-Man suit, with Spidey rarely making his mid-battle jokes. People dying left and right. Villains who seek to solely murder for the sake of murder... I mean. What's even the point? So Spider-Man can have a sex scene? More blood? The movies were already PG-13.... The only benefit I would see from Spider-Man going grittier is the possibility of a Carnage being more likely.
