*sigh* This reminds me that we don't have a Minimate pirate yet. I mean, we have cowboys (BTTF 3 plus the Western Dollars trilogy), indians (Thunderhawk), soldiers (Sgt. Rock and Platoon), ninjas (Elektra counts, right?), doctors (ST Doc McCoy), serial killers (Hannibal Lecter) and even pastry chefs (Chef Duff). You'd think we'd have a real, honest-to-goodness, seafaring, parrot-loving, arrgh-exclaiming pirate minimate by now, but noooooooooo. Anybody gonna correct me on this? Anyone? Please?

Heck, IMO Hunchback of Notre Dame has got to be one of the best Disney animated movies ever (next to Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Great Mouse Detective... and Atlantis and Treasure Planet ) If not Smoke Esmerelda, then I guess Gypsy Esmerelda (her in that festive red outfit from the Feast of Fools) or "Battle-Damaged" Esmerelda (her in that white dress ) would work perfectly fine as variants too. (He he, if this ever reached 2 waves then at least we'd have ideas already... just throw in Battle-Damaged Phoebus, crazed Frollo from the climax and the Archdeacon ) My point is I'd KILL for an Esmerelda or a Clopin minimate... I love gypsies

Well, I guess it can't be that bad then... methinks the dwarves stole Hulk because they needed a new king to worship But seriously, my Avengers Hulk minimate really is missing, and for the life of me I cannot figure out where it could have possibly gone. Which is ironic because I was just kind of complaining about how the Defenders Hulk had a much better facial expression last time I had it. God, I hope the Avengers Hulk didn't have telepathic powers... it probably ran away because I hurt its feelings

So I was getting majorly depressed seeing that "BSG cancelled" headline every time I logged on, so I thought I'd sate some of my grief (and boredom) with a vaguely relevant post... ... how about a hypothetical Hunchback of Notre Dame wave? Quasimodo/Judge Frollo (accesories: basket of food?) Esmerelda/Captain Phoebus (accessories: Esmerelda's tambourine and Phoebus's sword) the gargoyles Victor/Hugo (accessory: Hugo's deck of cards) variant: either the gargoyle Laverne (accessory: a bunch of Minimate-sized pigeons) to replace Hugo or that jester character Clopin (accessory: jester wand or alternate mini-Clopin puppet hand) to replace Phoebus. Potential logistical problems here could be Quasimodo's overall hunchback look (which I guess they could do with Penguin's short feet and a unique powerhouse chest vaguely reminiscent of Muffit the Daggit) and the gargoyles' legless stump look (perhaps DST could invent a new legless torso piece?). Otherwise the other characters are so easy to do DST could do them in their sleep... Frollo's sweeping robes could be done in a similar style to Lucifer in the classic BSG villains set. For Clopin DST can possibly take a cue from Harley Quinn, and Esmerelda and Phoebus are not only no-brainers (let's see... Marisol's skirt, Hank Pym's hairpiece, Hawkeye's "skirt", Defenders Namor's armbands...), they'd be damn pretty to look at. Wow... just thinking about this wave makes me want it for real even more. Dammit!

Well in that case, looks like I should be expecting my Limited Edition Christmas Skrull any day now!

Yeah, but these aren't exactly a whole line of Metalocalypse figures... these are just one or two figures out of a random blind-box lineup based on all the Adult Swim shows. The only other actual Metalocalypse line I know of is I think by Shocker Toys ( )

I had that on tape when I was in middle school, and let a friend borrow it. When it came back to me, when the Chun Li shower scene came on, there were lines on the screen, as if it were paused and re-winded several times. I didn't want to touch the tape again after that HAHAHAHA That's pure awesome! I had something similar happen to me, except it was a ToyFare magazine, and the edges on one page were all messed up. Wow. What movie is that? That's pure awesome right there! I believe it is this one And personally I'd take this over the Van Damme movie anyday.

By far your creepiest minimate design yet. No kidding... He looks like a cross between Mechanical Animals Marilyn Manson and Lobo's sister Psycho robot chick in red leather suit FTW!

dude I'm a huge street fighter fan as well, and I agree with you all the way, but I feel having the new characters would also be a bonus, and of course Sakura,she's my favorite!!but lets not forget the darkstalkers games as well, I hope to one day have a roster of x-men vs street fighter/marvel vs capcom mates! that would be awesome! Bulleta! Bulleta! Ruby Heart! Bulleta! (Yes, I have something of a soft spot for Marvel vs. Capcom )

Weird... You get "The truth is out there" as a clue and a lot of people concluding it's T2. I love this forum I'm gonna go out on a limb and be the first here to speculate that maybe this is neither an X-Files NOR a T2 minimates. I wonder what Google has to say?
