Have they confirmed that there will be a packed in Minimate? Maybe it'll be one of those Hunt Minimates with a miniature Minimate Collector's CaseTM.

Maybe Cap and Thor will be separate lines, kind of like how the Iron Man and Wolverine waves weren't counted towards the Marvel count at Toys R Us. Or, maybe Cap and Thor will be exclusive to Toys R Us.

I'm still not finding this or the Heroic Age set in my local store. I'll give it another week or so before I start to worry though.

We don't usually see all of the stuff that new releases come with in these pictures, so maybe the ninjas will come with some more gear. It's a pity that they still don't have any hair showing under Iron Fist's mask, or at least have it pulled down further in the back. He looks bald as is. Hopefully the final Elektra will look a bit better than the photoshopped one in that pic. Is her skirt thing new? I don't remember anyone else using one like that. Spider-Man is an odd choice in that particular costume. Its great that we aren't getting another retread of the classic red and blue, or a damaged variation of it, but he doesn't even use that costume in Shadowland. They could have saved it for the inevitable Spider-themed wave coming down the line and dumped another Shadowland character in his place here.

I'm most of the way through book 13 of the Wheel of Time. Sanderson is good, and doing an admirable job at finishing out the series, but I still miss Robert Jordan.

I haven't been playing too much of anything lately. Still teaming up with a few friends in Left 4 Dead 2, but beyond that not much of anything. I have played around in the Little Big Planet 2 beta, but haven't messed around too much with what's under the hood there.

Anyone find these in stores yet?

These were in my TRU today, though they were across the aisle from the Marvel/GB/Iron Man sets.

I'd rather not think of how much I've spent on Minimates, so ignorance is definitely bliss.

I'm burning out too. Don't get me wrong, DST is seeing more of my paycheck than I am and that probably won't change. I'm just not a huge fan of any of the licenses on the horizon and I've never been a huge X-Men fan, so I'm just buying them now for the sake of buying them. On the bright side, we've got the MAX stuff coming, plus the inevitable Avengers related stuff, so I should be alright. Stupid addiction. :biggrin:

About the only online games I play now are co-op against the computer, like Left 4 Dead, Borderlands, etc. I'm not the best FPS player in the world, so I stay away from games where others can exploit that to boost their kill counts.

If we did get MODOK and they did him properly, then we wouldn't see him in a standard release, since the box would have to be bigger to accommodate him. It would have to be something like the Ray & Slimer 2-pack that was released at a con with the that trap accessory. I could be wrong, but it does seem like extra money would have to be invested in that one set for all the molded plastic, the change in packaging size, the change in case size, etc. You'd likely get the worst part reuse wave ever to make up for it, or worse, six other figures that are just blank Minimates painted up like characters with no extra parts or accessories.

Only a 2 hour drive from me, depending on traffic conditions and interstate road construction. They're carrying a ton of other Marvel stuff on their website, so maybe Disney will put these up there too.

If you're asking if its the same character, then yes. If you're asking if its the same Minimate, then no. They have the same costume, but the TRU one has the vest painted on, whereas it was a separate piece in the Defenders set. Also, this Namor comes with a trident and some "wings" under his arms.

I never could get through Fallout 3. I guess they did accomplish their goal of making a wasteland though, since I found the environment so depressing that it sapped my will to go on. Gameplay wasn't bad though.

I buy these from the website, and naturally, they show up on shelves in my local TRU, along with the Best of GB and the Universal Monsters. My wallet hates me so much right now.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. It certainly beats hoping my store might deem them worthy of touching their shelves/pegs on some far off day. Should they show up locally, I'll still buy some, to pay tribute to management who took pity on this collector, but at least now I'm set either way.

Apparently, it is because the PSN is down for scheduled maintenance. The maintenance window closes at 5pm PST, so hopefully your problem should go away once they're done.

Maybe the clothes were built into the costume, thus making it difficult to change outfits in Wolfman form. That or Universal invented the unstable molecule outfit and Reed Richards stole the idea.

I also got the Move, with the Nav controller and the Sports Champions game. Haven't played all the games yet, or even touched the demo disc, but I agree that the hardware is excellent, but it lacks the killer apps to make this a must have. The ping pong game was a hell of a lot harder than playing Wii Sports Tennis. They need a Star Wars game to go with this thing. With that orb lighting up on the controller to match your light saber and 1:1 movement, it would be a must have.
