  1. Spiral / Mojo turned out to be one of my favorite sets in a long time. So good!
  2. A belly chest cap with a slight hunch in back?
  3. Waves 68, 69 and 72 have all been amazing for classic comic fans, so thanks Chuck, Zach et al for keeping the hits coming. This level of excellence demands a shout-out.
  4. Battle damaged spider man and vulture, prob. Like the old asm & lizard set.

Hmm. Intriguing. Hela seems a good guess: she's female, a villain, and a cosmic asgardian all at once. Alien could be Grandmaster, classic Adam Warlock, Uatu, Collector. Legacy Avenger could be Jocasta, Starfox, Dr. Druid, Moondragon, Hellcat, Mockingbird, Mantis. Or Swordsman (who'd also be villainous-leaning)
  6. You're making Riri? Was this already discussed? Did I miss something?
  7. I've waited 15 years to see a toad mate. That's not creepy, at all.
  8. I'd like both Medusa's classic look, and a variant based on her early frightful four costume. We've got "funky sandman" from the animated line to start the team...
  9. Danny, Leona, Garber and King Willie would do it for me re: the humans of Pred2. And yeah Boar and Lost are musts.
  10. Oh yeah! I had forgotten that Cottonmouth was in that set, not Diamondback. Mombasa QC it is, then.
  11. (and with Mombasa, we could all do quick customs of Cottonmouth from the Luke Cage series )
  12. Yeah, there are exactly 3 Predators 2-packs I'd want: Mombasa / Tracker Stans / Cloaked Tracker Nikolai / "River Ghost" alien
  13. Dude. That hound is awesome! So cool. And Hudson's ancestor Lambert! If only the Terminator line had included the blue-mohawked punk, we'd have the trifecta of dead Paxtons...
  14. Mantis' hair will be a great base for a Satana custom...
  15. Those eggs put this set over the top for me. Super cool, great for my mini-dios.
  16. With this series, it can be argued that the original Squadron Sinister has been done. Hyperion & Spectrum look basically the same, though Hype would need a face with a domino mask. Easy enough to come by. Speed Demon is the Sinister's Whizzer in a new costume (and less pee-sounding moniker), and Sinister Nighthawk of course became the heroic Defenders Nighthawk. Gruenwald's Squadron were from another dimension; his Hyperion actually killed the Sinister Hyperion, which was a Grandmaster-created clone, or something, the last time I tried to keep up (has it been retconned since then?).
  17. AH! OK, thanks BD & Zach. That's right. So: cool stuff planned for 24 & 25. Works for me. They're both planned to hit in '17?
  18. I like your lists Hellpop. We've got overlap. I wanna play. 10 HEROES Shang-Chi (classic) Mockingbird (parts for both classics - long pants & "swimsuit") Deathlok (first appearance / classic) Machine Man Marvel Girl (green skirt / yellow mask Jean Grey) Brother Voodoo (classic) Gargoyle (Defenders) Son of Satan (classic Defenders) Jack of Hearts Omega the Unknown 10 VILLAINS Super Adaptoid (classic green amalgam look) Mimic (classic orange) Dragon Man Grandmaster Awesome Android Zzzax Beetle (classic 80s armor) Grey Gargoyle Mr. Hyde Diablo (FF)
  19. The Marvel TRU Waves appear to be coming slower these days... are they still in play? Has W23 been announced?
  20. AOS may be coming to an end. Its ratings have steadily declined, season to season. I think Inhumans may be an attempt to bring higher value Marvel brand content to ABC, which is probably losing money on AOS at this point. It can't be justified on life support for cross marketing value if no one is watching. (below 3M viewers an ep and steadily dropping, i.e. less than the Netflix shows). I don't know what it is, it's hard to quantify. Other cable shows are "cinematic" - GoT, Westworld, Daredevil. But AoS has always felt like "TV." Despite its effects budget. Simplistic and improbable plots? Cheap sets? I dunno. Maybe the problem is that the MCU connection sets the expectations too high.
  21. OK. Time for the comic-based Inhuman royal family to make the release calendar? It was recently announced that they're launching an 8-episode series on ABC in the fall of 2017, whose first two episodes will be shown in IMAX theaters everywhere. The show is said to focus on Black Bolt and the royal family. It's an easy 8-figure comic wave, too: Black Bolt (new deco), Lockjaw (re-release), Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus I am hopeful that the short 8-episode format, and the influx of cash from IMAX (which is co-producing along with Marvel & ABC), will elevate this above the usual ABC lesser-quality fare and general brand-watering-down that SHIELD and Agent Carter contributed to.
  22. Crystal has been overlooked now in 43 years of Marvel action figures, if you go back to Mego's first offerings in 1973. (Crystal was introduced as a character in 1965) I think with Agents of SHIELD at least paying lip service to the concept of Inhumans, the royal family is a bit overdue in MiniMate format, especially since we already have their pet dog. They're "kind of a big deal." (Ron Burgundy should play Karnak)
