  1. He looks it...y'know, aside from the obvious & previously stated... Have you had the same problems I've been reading about? How after the first transformation, stress marks appear somewhere on the wings? With him & Megs, I'm really nervous to spend so much money on something that could potentially break...
  2. The color matches better on the figure itself...d*m* flash...

  4. I had an awesome story idea for a secret agent who drives around in a Transformer (yes, I am almost 25 years old...I'm allowed to act like an 8 year old when I want to). I was gonna use one of the Alternators, since they're the perfect scale for the 'Mates. I had a hero, femme fatale, bad guy, hitmen...didn't write it down, and forgot it all. So, I took them apart.
  5. I still think Iceman's hand would look more water like. OMAC's just seems too dark...
  6. It's true! This is the guy who introduced me to the stuff by sending me a can with some commissions! It will work on trans. plastic, but, as with any 'Mate piece, you need to work fast, and not use too much. Like Luke said, cotton swab. The faster you work, the less likely you'll get that film on there, I've found. Keep a paper towel handy, and wipe off the GO after you've rubbed, this also lessens the residue. And, make sure you wash the piece off with soap and warm water the second you've removed the details. Sometimes, though, it'll leave a barely visible indentation of the details you've removed from a chest. It's kinda funny, but I don't know how to remedy that...
  7. I'm going to have to disagree with you, there. Stuckakid has amazing service!! I ordered some blank minimates some time back, then, two days later, I ordered some World's Smallest Transformers. I got a phone call on Tuesday from a really nice guy from SK (just wish I was nice enough to remember his name ), saying one of the WSTs I had ordered was broken, and they wanted to know if they could replace it with a box set that included it (and another WST) - which cost more money - at no extra charge to me. Then, I get an e-mail saying they've shipped both orders together, and they've refunded me one of the shipping costs. I just got them today. Three days to ship, amazing customer service. I'm shopping Stuckakid again.
  8. I still don't have Ultra Magnus, SS or Megatron... And, I'm sorry, but Starscream isn't Starscream...he's not green!!
  9. Something DCD should realise is not all of us were able to even find the second wave of C3, let alone buy it. I don't have anything from C3:W2. And, that includes Flash and J'onn.
  10. The right knee on my Ocean Master is melded close, so he can't bend that leg.

  12. OMG, Gert!? I'm in love!! She looks amazing!!! *drool*
  13. Guess what came UPS today? After almost 13, long years, and two versions to lust after (the original & the 20th Anniv. Masterpiece), I finally have it: VOLTRON: Defender of the Universe!!! OMG, he's so cool! I feel like a little kid again!! He's tall, too! One down, and with the new release of the Masterpiece Megatron, one to go...
  14. You, b*st*rd, you beat me to 'em! And they look better than I could ever hope to make them... *shakes fist in admiration*
  15. Agreed. Anyone who only wants six want to split a case with me?
  16. Those're some sharp pictures! (Though, that last one's gonna give me nightmares!! )
  17. Thanks, Ant! Your compliments are some of the most appreciated! I had planned on doing that ever since we found out we were getting a Joker from DCD. I just love the "Timm" face too much!! Teaser pic of my next project: (note: this is a Photoshopped pic - I haven't done the custom yet!)
  18. If you're willing to drive that far, there's still a Suncoast in Fox Valley Mall in Naperville/Aurora...
  19. I always work under the idea anything will work as a minimate, not a good idea but it's done fine by me so far. And thanks everyone. Everything seems to work in the Minimate Multiverse... (I just couldn't resist the play on words)
  20. Thanks guys. I agree. I think the best we could've hoped for, for The Dark Knight, is Adrien Brody, with Mark Hamill dubbing his lines. Instead we get wide-mouthed, square-headed Heath Ledger.
  21. OMG He's amazing!!! How much? Kidding. Seriously, though...top notch work, man!!
