I hardly ever play video games anymore. the only video game minimates i would buy are silent hill (not on list) and the battlestar galactica xbox/ps2 game.

video games that have reached a larger audience with successful (enough) movies: silent hill, tomb raider, and maybe final fantasy the spirits within (for starters) seem to have the best chances of being made. i for one would buy countless silent hill mates like i already do with the BSG mates. but then you might just get movie mates instead of video game mates. darn....

i liked star wars a lot as a kid. as i got older, for some reason, i liked it less and less. there is far too much star wars stuff out there already and i for one would not buy minimate versions. i know all the hate i am gonna get for this, but someone has to speak up for the dark side. just give me more Battlestar Galactica

complicated girls........ but at the same time they are the only ones that are worth it. and that there is not a non-complaint thread where we can talk about moments from our day that made the day perfect

i love my Galactus max statue, like a lot. it is not as big as one would hope, but it gets the job done. i would only reccomend these if you really like the characters. they are not that exciting for playing with and they can break easily. they are a statue and not an action figure so if you want minimates for playing with, then i would skip these. hope this helps. i still say find that Mary Jane Adam Hughes statue though

um, i don't want to sound like a big jerk face, but you should know what you want. that said, if i were you i would try to pre-order that Mary Jane Adam Hughes statue that has all that controversary around it. it sure looks pretty sweet.

I'm going to have to agree, it is very nice. it also looks very official, like if AA could have made it this would be it. do you have one all made up for the hobgoblin as well? also, what did you make it out of and how was it done?

i would love a heralds of Galactus wave!!!!!! i think a 1602 box set would be pretty neat.

i am confused about what you are saying. would martian manhunter not be on the same boat as Darkseid? and it is wave nine we are taking a stab at.

They also have the Minimates Max Spider-Man up for pre-order as well. seems like they are either trying to be tricky or forget to update their page for cancelled items.

well, this is starting to get quite frustrating. strange that one could buy them at the AFX booth at SDCC. maybe they struck some sort of deal to be the first seller to carry them, big retail stores do the same kind of thing.

i sure hope so, i wish they could have shown the mask with the figure at SDCC. anyway, i just put in my order for a case of wave 18 at my LCS.

yeah, i got the message from the third post that spidey 1 and 2 would be under different agreements then 3. it was more of an "i wish" or "what if" thing. after all, a boy can dream........ and TBT!, i meant with the not re-releasing a variant thing being as how the movie MJ is the variant. It just occurred to me, if they do get the rights to make SM1 and SM2, would they make another movie Mary Jane? Gwen should have been the variant. I think more people would want Mary Jane. Would the SM3 MJ be considered different then the SM2 MJ because they are, in fact, different movies? I suppose they could do a battle damaged MJ from SM2. Thanks for the info TBT!

This makes sense, i can't believe i was not thinking this. thanks for your perspective on this. i guess the only films i really care about are F4 and the first two SM films. Also i hope we see some Hulk mates when the next film comes out.

I am not sure if there is already a post for this, but if there is i am sorry and can someone post a link for me. I am wondering what film studios DST has the rights to for making marvel movie minimates. Spider-man 3 and Ghost Rider are Columbia pictures. Can DST make minimates on the first 2 SM film? BSG and BTTF are Universal. The incrediable Hulk and Sub-Mariner are also Universal, can DST make mates for these films? X-men 3, 24, and Dark Angel are Fox. Can DST make the Fantastic Four films(i want these something fierce), the first 2 x-men films or Daredevil/Elektra movies into mates? I am mostly only interested in the movie mates for marvel (except of course my Galactus) so i am just wondering what mates we might be able to look foward to in the future. Any inside information would be a great help. one more question, is there anyone else out there that would love to see F4 movie mates as much as i want to? i also know that some of my examples are not marvel, i am just using them as an example of what film studios DST is already or has made mates for.

so, it is killing me not knowing when this is coming out!!! As far as i can tell, the soundtrack is coming out about mid to late August and the season three companion book is coming out around September 18. Maybe it will be between these dates. Does anyone on here have any inside scoop for the release on the region 1 dvd?
