Last I checked, Ryu doesn't have Ken#s colours as one of his alternative looks. I am hoping this will open the door to Super Street Fighter IV so I can get a Dudley mate to clean up the Gutter Trash . I completly agree, but add in the fact that characters like Dudley, Talbon, Stider, Captain Commando, Sanosuke, Jedah, Yun and Yang weren't considered for/officially added to the "they won't be appearing" list, and consist of some of my favourite SF/DS/Capcom characters and it's salt in the wound for me as well. At least we're getting C.Viper and (hopefully) Hagger to fight against my previous SF mates and the awesomness that is Arthur and Viewtiful Joe.

Thought that crossed my mind - if Capcom adds say eight more characters via DLC (not counting Jill and Shuma-Gorath) over the next six months, do you think we'll get minimates of them? I believe it was stated they're planning to release everyone announced so far over however many months and as a huge Capcom fan I'm hoping people like Talbon, Captain Commando and Strider will appear further down the road. With them amoung my list of favourite characters from Capcom franchises I'm hoping to also get them in minimate form. It would be a shame if DST ends the licence without including any future DLC characters.

I think they all look great and can't wait to get them. RGB was one of my favourite series growing up. I think the Peter minimate looks awesome.

Nice finds so far Other than SF accessories, all I can think of are translucent lego antennas. I've also known Luke to use the antennas from Lego as the thinnest part works perfectly as a minimate staff (I recently got a translucent orange one as part of a ninja custom I bought from his store, and gave it to a fire ninja I had previously bought from there). Though I can't think of any Lanterns who'd fight with a staff, it might be of some help as they come in green, orange and yellow last I checked.

Same here, though I'm still dissapointed I won't be able to get Strider or Captain Commando . With the exception of Hagger and Hsien-Ko being left out, I'm loving all the Capcom mates announced so far and the Marvel ones look great, especally updated Super Skrull and Taskmaster. My only question - where is the Sparda sword for Trish? I loved that sword in DMC1.

I pretty much agree. Two of my favourite MvC characters are Strider and Captain Commando, both of whom were disconfirmed for MvC3. Frankly I've not been as interested in the game since, although I wouldn't say no to Arthur, Viewtiful Joe and Dante. Plus the only Street Fighter character we weren't given in the first wave was Hagger (SF and Final Fight both take place in the same universe, and Hagger is said to be Zangief's rival, hence the similar moves so I consider Hagger to be part of SF). We already have Ryu and Chun-Li. Darkstalkers fair a little better as we'll get Felicia and the hopping corpse (who's name I can never remember) but Talbon, who's always been a favourite of mine, won't get made. And as others have said, bar a handful, most of the Marvel characters have been well done. Frankly I'd have much rather seen this as a revival of the SF/DS line or a "Capcom" based line that covers their entire library of characters (especally the more obscure characters. Rival Schools anyone?)

Reed decided to take any and all super smart kid in the Marvel Universe and teach/raise them himself. You're right in thinking it's his kids, Zero-G (he apparently has a number of doctorates), Dargon Man (apparently now smarter), some mole men etc. I actually like the idea of Peter/Spidey being on this team. I've always loved the Spider-Man/Fantastic Four interactions, especally when they FINALLY learned Peter was Spidey (which then got retconned, but thankfully fixed). I'd happily see him drop out of the Avenger teams and spend his time helping them. As for the Goblin Glider, it looks awesome . Can't wait to see more.

Deinitly want Lady Sif/Volstagg and maybe Civilian Thor/Asguardian Guard. Hoping they'll appear on TRU.com so I can smile sweetly at someone here to buy them for me and ship them over

First pictures of wave 5 surficed earlier this week: Ancient Egyptian Woman Murmillo Detective Cavewoman Grenadier Guard Dwarf Boxer Dinosaur Suit Man Small Clown I'm hoping the nine we've seen so far are just early teasers as opposed to them lowering the nine to nine per wave. The Murmillo, Detective and Boxer look great. Not so sure about the rest yet but that might change when more pictures appear. I am hoping we'll see a pirate or knight at some point, as while I can get loose stands and buy/dig out a pirate/knight, it wouldn't feel the same to me until they officially add some to the line (if you get what I mean). I got the Wave 3 Space Villain and Wave 1 Space Man earlier this week and love the fact both of them have emblems from the old space line I grew up with. I always love small nods like those.

I agree with Serge about the DS love, but I wish Talbon would get brought back (apparently he's all but hated in Japan or something). The SFIII fan in me also wishes one of them would represent that underappreciated classic. I think Gill would be a brilliant foe for the Marvel heroes. I've read some more characters are on the way, though with Sentinal andHsien-Ko rounding off the roster of 36, any further annoucements may be DLC. As a fan of Strider, Captain Commando and some of the deconfirmed franchises like Rival Schools and Power Stone I can't say I'm overly interested until Capcom corrects their mistake and brings them back/adds them in.

One thought that crossed my mind today - what about the Battle Beast wave that was leaked a few months back? Last I checked we've not heard anything since the leak, i.e. any form of official confirmation/denial by DST. Maybe DST will officially announce something that fans have been semi aware of for the last few months. Personally I hope it's the revivial of the DC minimates or Street Fighter/Capcom, but I'm not holding my breath for false hope. I've been burned before...

I agree, but as a huge GB and RGB (one of my favourite cartoons growing up) I plan on getting them. However I am dreading the "joy" of having to get all of the TRU exclusives. I hope to get help from here or use LTS, especially if the TRU site stocks them. Otherwise I will fall victim to the scampers on eBay, especally being a UK resident... Guess I'll have to wait and see. Might need to get more of the DVDs to refresh my memory of the various ghosts? Anyone else planning to get dupes of the cartoon GBs and swap the heads with the movie GBs?

Great to hear we'll be getting both Speciality Store AND TRU, though I'm sure the latter will contain the lion's share of awesome minimates.

While I'm a huge Darkstalkers fan, I do agree with others who feel that maybe they should have held off using them, at least at the start. Blanka and Ken from wave 2 both looked awesome and I feel it's a huge shame neither of them were released to the public. Having said that, Demitri, Morrigan, Talbon and Felicia are amoung my favourites from DS so... I think part of the problem is few people know who the non-SF2 characters are. A friend at work was introduced to SF thanks to her husband but when I try to tell her about Alpha, 4 and my personal favourite 3rd Strike, she's not as interested as she would be if we purely discussed SF2. In many respects they needed to do what they've started doing with Marvel - a wave primarily made up of the big guns (SF2 characters) with one or two characters from outside (1, Alpha, 3, 4 and Darkstalkers) to appeal to fans of those obscure characters.

Thanks for the compliment on my Cyborg Thing Boyd . I appreciate it. I think part of what works well is how it makes Ben seem even less human than he was before. At least in his rockey form there was the possibility of turning back. As for the Adama hair, I did find the minimate on eBay for about $12 + $4 S&H to the UK so yeah... Very tempting (I once bought a Superman mate just for the belt) and my best friend once stated Adam as being his favourite in BSG so I could give it to him as a gift (after I swap the hair), but can I turely justify spending that much just for the hair piece...?

Um... Debry from an asteroid I wasn't sure if it would be best to do this in a seperate topic or part of this one, so I felt the latter would be better 9least for now). I've been working on tweaking my main custom, this Mon-El costume and hit a small stump with the hair piece. I commissioned Luke to make me a Kyle Rayner minimate, which came with a spikey black hair piece, which is idea for the look. However I'm not sure where he got it from. I was hoping someone might know as it's one thing that's been bugging me for a while. I'm also looking to update the face. Currently I have used Decker's as it was the best I had in my parts box, but, much like the hair I am currently using, feel I need to swap it out with a different one. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The Thor and Cap waves definitly interest me. I'm wondering if maybe they're using TRU for the "movie" waves, then may use the LCS for the comic versions. Either way I really liked the Movie Iron Man minimates so I look forward to having Movie Thor and Movie Cap to stand next to them. The movie themed box set could go either way in my opinion. If it maybe brings about say final battle Whiplash and other characters that missed "the deadline", then great. If it's just a rehas of say Movie Iron Man, Movie Hulk, Movie Thor and Movie Cap then unless they offer anything new I'm not interested.
