I don't think the point of minimates is to make them all the same scale. If that was the case, why add torso extensions, designs to manipulate scale, and accessories that push to 2.5? What makes some of the best minimates are ones that capture the essence of the character and show variations from existing mates. I think you can really add alot to certain characters by using the 2.5 bodies in the future. And a Jubilee that is bigger than my Rhino currently does not capture a character correctly like Rhino. Love the new Hulk hands and feet! Say no to "Duck" Feet

I'll also be swapping out the hair piece with the last Rulk. I also found a quick fix that putting 2 "Human Torch Fire Energy Pieces" on the last version of Rulk made him look alot better, but his feet and legs were still puny looking.

It's good to know that JJ was not involved with the show's decline or ending. Will check this out on Blu Ray or Discount Theaters...

During LOST, I lost alot of respect for JJ with the terrible plot holes and complete lack of followup or resolution. After Cloverfield, I became a JJ Fan again... I will see this movie, but I will be very annoyed if the monster/alien is not revealed completely.

LOVE THE BULKED UP HULK HIS HANDS ARE AWESOME! Looks even better than the Ultimate Hulk I was previously using. MVSC EXclusive new Red Hulk also got the bulked up hand treatment. Only think left id to find large hands for the Abomination. Love the continued advancement to sculpted parts.

The Brood or Molemen would be great army builders that would make alot of sense in minimate form. Also if we are scrapping the bottom of the barrel how about the amazing Collective Man? Did anyone else notice Blink is missing the white color for her eyes? It's like the tampo did not have the white fill in at the time of manufacturing. It makes Blink look strange up close but you can't notice it from 3+ feet away. It's a minor quality issue, just glad to add these to the collection.

Picked up the Cap Movie Mates this past Tuesday from my local TRU will hunt for the Howard Stark sets when my comic store gets them in. I can't get over the new Hydra Agent designs and prefer the classic look. My Red Skull also had a huge amount of oil/grease underneath the "human face" mask, wiped most of it off and my figure seems fine. I also can't seem to get Gabe's machine gun to sit in hands in a natural way.

Hoping for Inhumans or Alpha Flight for Wave 42, but the way things are going, would not be surprised to see more Thor and Cap characters. I hope they go comic style if they do.

If you mean posting factual information for members that will help them build their collections, yes same old. Army Builders for SHEILD troops was already created, and I think their realistic army fatigues match well with the Cap America Movie mates. Just look at Dum Dum and Bucky's movie costume and them look at the existing Army Builder fatigues. And if you mean getting insulted/harassed by members publicly on topics and via PM for no reason... than apparently yes... please feel free to stop negative comments.

Anyone except Galactus please. Until Marvel and AA starts a Build A Figure version, I don't need a tiny 2 inch version of him when my Toy Biz 14" Galactus keeps glowing and screaming at my minimates perfectly in scale.

Ah, thanks. Good question, Lobby. Someday, hopefully... I have about 15 SHIELD minimate army builder troopers from the Ultimates Minimate Wave. They are awesome when displayed against the HYDRA or Hand and if you swap the head and hands you can get some really good ethnic diversity customs.

Wasn't there an awesome Bond Villian who was gigantic and had a surgically enhanced metal jaw and bit guns apart? Yeah, I need him as a minimate for the 4 pack.

Just picked up "No More Heroes" for the Wii. It's amazing as far as game play presentation and story. Graphics seem a little choppy at times, but I've been spoiled playing PS3 and 360 on my hidef 40 inch 1080 p Samsung LCD. The summary without spoilers: If you love star wars, assassins, and ninjas, you'll love the theme and styles used Grand Teft Auto on Crack for manga fans Tons of Samurai moves and specials using the wii remote Who needs a sword when you have a light saber??? Boss fights aplenty

I just figured that everyone else on the island was dead, eaten, or evacuated, so the monster would generally be around or hunting any other living food sources on the island. In this case the main characters. Remember, this thing may have come 20,000 leagues under the sea. It's hearing and eyesight is probably incredible sharp and sensitive. I believe it could have reached them since easily as the main characters made alot of noise screaming and running about. It did display intelligence when attacking the military, plus the monster only needs to take like 12 steps to cross the whole dang island. *Spoiler* As for the ending, I don't think they nuked the island otherwise the tape wouldn't survive. They probably just napalmed the whole thing. They never said "nuke", just "hammer down", and destroy the whole contained area with the monster in it. A nuke would mess up much more than just the island.

Good movie. Didn't like the monster design at all.

I think they had a pretty cool animated show I used to watch as a kid. That could be a fun line... with a broom accessory. (My bitter pesimistic grinch heart grew two times tonight) ...oh wait, no ...I would much rather have Marvel Minimates.

I saw this article about the stores nearest me all closing. But what's disturbing is the list of closed locations at the bottom. http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/7861.shtml Did they really distribute new minimates to a franchise that only has a handful of locations in N.A. and no online site that sells them?

Good stuff, fun survey. Omac.... I truly believe now more than ever, sculpted mates are the future...(I did not vote for Omac) If you can tell the character just with the silhouette, it's a good damn good 2 inch design.

I would also buy a few sets.
