  1. Oh, how cool is that?! Scarred Sulu! Goateed Spock! Where do I get in line for these?
  2. I have to echo everyone else by saying that that Joker is the best so far. I bought a Batcave a while ago for about $15. I got it for the Joker and Bruce Wayne. If I ever start regretting the purchase, I can just say, "Well, I bought a semi-old two-pack for $15 and got bunch of extra stuff for free."
  3. Wow, that is an amazing reference and tutorial. Thanks, winkerbean! That head could make for a wonderfull "blown-up" Jason Todd!
  4. Yeah, Prime and Megatron can still be found with great ease. I think you can still find them on eBay for closer to $20. Ultra Magnus, on the other hand, was far more limited and usually goes for about $50 these days. Here's a pretty good scale comparison pic between Revooltech, G1, and Masterpiece versions of the three already out.
  5. Wow. That Starscream is flippin' sweet! This is the Starscream I've been waiting for, but never knew it. I've never heard of Revoltech before, so I just did a quick Google & it looks like these are $25. Not bad. Does anybody have one of the earlier ones? How do you like it? Pros/cons? Also, where would you guys recommend ordering this from? I have the Prime and Megatron. Pros: -They are highly detailed. -They are extremely poseable. -They come with character appropriate accessories and extra hands. Cons: -No transformation. -They are tiny. Only about four inches tall.
  6. I didn't really have my usual "holy crap I gotta have those!" reaction when these were first announced. Well, thanks to that in-package pic, I'm having it now. I'm loving all the guns. I wonder if we'll see a set with a more modern arsenal of weaponry. Perhaps with the Platoon set later this year. Also, is that a spare holding-a-pocket-wacth hand I see?
  7. Sure, but you can still be personally touched by an actor or any other contributor to any form of art. By definition, art should be something that effects you emotionally, to some degree or another, whether it be movies, theatre, music, or something more tangible like a painting or sculpture. If someone deeply moves another person through his or her particular art, I see no reason why there wouldn't be some kind of connection. That is generally what people refer to when they say they'll miss someone they've never actually met personally.
  8. Again, if someone with the power to do so reads this, please add a category for "0"--I don't want to discriminate against the haters out there. I'm not a hater, just not a downloader. I guess you could call me an "indifferenter" (or maybe "bringer of unrelenting apathy...er").
  9. Yeah. Plus, you forgot the 0 option in your poll, so I can't vote.
  10. I doubt it's cancelled. It's more likely that it just got pushed back, if anything.
  11. When nerdy fanboys stop drooling over every woman that's ever been in any sci-fi movie or TV show.
  12. I honestly don't know how to react to this.
  13. Yes yes, Sgt Rock does indeed, um, rock. Plus, you can put his head on a Baltar body and you end up with a pretty good Slam Bradley.
  14. Well, the listing does include the phrase, "The first Minimates from the Battlestar Galactica: Razor movie..." so there is still hope. Perhaps we'll see a regular carded Razor wave sometime soon.
  15. I would think so. There's no mention of these being an exclusive in the BBTS listing. Maybe it'll be in the next Previews. Does that come out this Wednesday or next? I can never remember with fifth-week months.
  16. Cool, thanks for the details on the paint. That was going to be my next question.
  17. I finally bought this set today. I'm glad I did. My Scarlet Spider was packaged with his torso on backwards. Fun times!
  18. I keep trying to collect some of the older Marvel Mates but the new releases keep forcing me to put that on hold.
  19. Neat! I wonder how long it'll be until we see pictures.
  20. For the Revoltech fans, pics of Revoltech Starscream and Hot Rod.
  21. Very nice! I might just have to try that myself. Did you try doing an un-zombified face under the mask? If not, any plans to?
  22. What's wrong with Pocket Heroes. I liked the Pocket Heroes. They were fun for me. Plus they had BLACK MANTA! Pocket Heroes was a nice homage to the MEGO line. Pocket Heroes was MEGO's attempt at competing with the original Star Wars toys.
  23. So, today I made the 30 minute drve out to the closest Suncoast that regularly stocks Minimates only to find out that they are closed permanently. Through my numbness and desperation, I found myself at the FYE that's about 5 miles from my house and has never stocked Minimates. To my wonderous surprise, they actually had some Minimates! I picked up the End of Day 2 set, the Hobgoblin/Scarlet Spider set, and an extra Baltar/Gina pack (it's Oracle custom time)! I'm so happy that the store in my regular toy hunting route finally carries Minimates!
  24. I saw the new big guys at Target yesterday just in case anybody's interested. Giant Man with Iron Man and Apocalypse with fuzzy Beast.
