After thinking about it further, I don't think there is any way in the current market for us to get anywhere near the same number of mated for IM3 as we did for IM2. We totally lucked out with that: LCS wave (7 unique characters) TRU wave 1 (4 unique characters) Army Dump (6 unique characters) TRU wave 2 (2 unique characters) Com 2-pack (2 unique characters) AFx box set (4 unique characters) Borders exclusive (2 unique characters) 27* unique characters for one movie. Were some pointless variants? Yes! But there were far more characters than any other Marvel movie wave. Now I am really hoping for an all unique TRU wave... *I may be off by one or two

Found these yesterday in Madison. Full peg worth. I had to search through them all, though, to find good paint apps on Scarlet witch and Protector. SW has red in her hair from her band and the white on Protector's eyes either had black on them or spread beyond the bubbles. I found two that looked good. The only other nitpick is the feet. Most of the feet do not want to stay on, but IM regular feet are too thick to fit in his legs. And the flight/hover stand is too loose for the feet too. Otherwise these are amazing mates! SW hex hands are total win and could be snipped for web shooter genes easy. BEIM is perfect (aside from his feet) as is Protector. Cyke's non-flame chest piece matches his visor, so it looks good to me. The flame piece does not fit over the other as it appeared to in the control art. I will see if I can get pics up later.

So, with Zach's exclusive mention, we have 10 slots to fill, plus an army builder and an extra 2 or 4 mates; my guess is 4 if AFX picks up an exclusive as with IM and IM2. So, here are my guesses/hopes: Comic/TRU shared - IM mkVIII/Mandarin Comic/TRU shared - Extremis Armor/Killian Comic Exclusive - Maya/AIM Goon Comic Exclusive Variant - Sal/AIM Goon TRU Exclusive - Pepper as Rescue/Armored Mandarin TRU Exclusive - Iron Patriot War Machine/Firepower AFX 4-pack - Chen Lu/Tony/BD Extermis/BD Mandarin This should cover all the main announced characters. It would be awesome if the movie waves started to follow comic waves wrt no overlap, but I don't think that will happen. Although, it would compensate for the second wave of exclusives TRU got for IM2.... PS - I am still hoping we see Mark Ruffalo Banner and a movie Hulk Buster, but I can wait to 2015

Ditto. Hopefully your library's Wi-Fi is better than my library's though. We have terrible Wi-Fi service. Customer service was voted best in Wisconsin for 2010 though Great pic, Monte! On a side note, I finally placed an order for the Mutants box Set.

Zach, Songbird was my biggest want for all the characters in all the polls. She looks amazing! one question though, will Songbird possibly also come with pink Vulture's wings for an alternate display option? I love the base she has, but I think Vulture's wings with a flying stand would look awesome too. Ditto for Falcon Just sayin' Awesome wave; I cannot wait for these.

Just got back from my TRU and found an additional Glenn set and two more Shane sets. They are up for grabs for cost ($8 each after tax) plus shipping. PM me if you want/need them. First come first serve I plan to start further customization (read: part swapping) on my Zombies tonight. These guys are so great!

Okay, after finally finishing this thread (lots of pages to read through), here are some things: One - I am slightly overweight with facial hair and long hair that I usually wear pulled back. I am not a scalper, nor do I feel I hoard. Two - the two cases that I saw at my TRU definitely had a different pack out: 4 Ricks, 3 Herd Zombies, 3 Shanes, and 2 Glens. The first day I went, I found 4 Rick, 3 Zombies, 3 Shanes and 1 Glen . I picked up the exclusives only because I got a custom case from Luke and I am splitting these with a neighbor because he is into the comics/show and has lent me his books toread so I got him into mates. A week or so later, I went back and they had another case of these out, along with another three cases of Marvel 14. For TWD they had another 2 Glens and 3 Shanes. Weird considering other ase reports. Three - These are awesome!!! The only thing thy would have made these better would have been a shirt tampo on Winter Coat Dale (and alternate looks for the Zombies) Four - We need a minimate style RV. Make it a $25 or $30 vehicle like the TRU Warthogs, but with only one mate (maybe Andrea w/ Dale's hat piece OR Jim) Five - What would be needed to push this line from awesome to unbelievable would be child size mates. Make the connectors work with existing mates but shrink the torso piece and shorten the arms and legs slightly. Reusable for Carl, Sophia, Billy, Ben, Duane, Governor's Daughter, alternate Duane, alternate Carl, .... And that is just TWD, not to mention the possibilities with other mates. Anyway, these were knocked out of the park by DST. Here's to many more waves of TWD goodness!

Just an FYI for those looking to pick up any Halo mates at TRU: they are included in the current Halo sale for 25% off. I snagged some extra officers and Red/Blue packs for $5.25 each. My TRU also had the Reach Hog sets for $20.

Do you have a six digit item code for these? I really hope to find them on Friday! And I just got back from picking up (2 of) my black and white Walking Dead packs from my LCS. Also scored Marvel 47.

Picked up the entire wave today in Madison. Awesome! Used some $5 coupons to make them$4.81 a piece!

Do we know the item number? Or are these still wave 10?

A Spider-man Gauntlet wave would be awesome and would give us much needed updates: Kraven (w/ Sasha or Ana as variant) Sandman Lizard (Shed version) New Rhino Mask-less Electro Both red and green Vultures Chameleon (as Harry Osborn) Mysterio? Doc Ock Between LCS and TRU, they could be paired with new Spidey variations: Cassandra Webb Arana Maddie Franklin Halloween costume Spidey Red or White Big Time etc. Sandman with alternate pieces could be the LCS army builder. A guy can hope, right?

Sadly, these do not seem to be selling at my TRU. I bought one each of the exclusives a week and a half ago and they have not sold a single one since. I know there us at least one other interested party in the Madison area, sine my LCS asked me about these. Who knows? And the colors on my LCS mates are decent. There is a slight difference in the painted vs molded parts, but it does not look terribly different from other mates.

Time for a new Gambit! Or at least I will need a second pack for one of those for him.

So, did anyone else notice that Aurora appears to have an alternate hand next to her head? Hopefully she comes with an extra for Northstar!

I work at a public library and I am thinking these will make great prizes for adults and young adults. We have lots of comic/graphic novel readers who participate in our programs. This will be a unique prize to hand out.

Picked up one each of the exclusives today in Madison. They look nice. I also scored wave 4 of Hasbro's 3.75" Avengers line at the buy 2 get 1 free deal. Major haul day!

I picked up two covers of #3 today along with my two Stealth Vorin. What a great color scheme. Best version yet (I don't have gold)
