Is it fitting that it is a rainy, stormy day?

I’ve spent the last 2 hours hanging out at the Madison TRU. I brought cake, bought the last 10 packs of Dark Tower mates, and am fighting back tears.

My TRU still has many of the old guard. Manager has been with TRU 10 years, 8 at this store One employee has been with TRU for 35 years, 18 at this store The remaining assistant manager has been at this store for ages One employee is on medical leave for cancer, but started at TRU at 18 and is now in her 40s Some of the other employees that are still there have been there for a handful of years. Granted, many of the employees have left for new jobs, but many have stayed.

I am so jealous!

The one that came with the Ripley/Ripley 2-pack should work. It fits over her reduced hair piece and has more room than the other helmets DST has made.

I stopped in Thursday and it was pretty sad to see all the empty shelves. I picked up the Space Jockey set and some other mates at 60% off. Tuesday will be the last day for my store. I may stop out there tomorrow again, but I plan to take a cake out to my friends on Tuesday morning. I will miss visiting them every week to chat, check out the latest toys, and be a ToysRUs kid. ?

Been checking East Madison and the I-94 corridor to Waukesha to no avail. Almost 20 stores in the last week and no new mates (IW2 or Ani). Oddly enough, I saw more Star Lord and Thor packs than Hulk and Iron Man packs.

Yep! The cannon came off really easy. The wings and stand were a little more tricky. A little super glue and there you go!

I modified Iron Man:

I had 2 K*B stores in the malls near me growing up. It is where my Star Wars action figure collection started (with 3.75" Dash Rendar and Boba Fett). I still remember details about that, as we had a snow day the day after and I took them with to my mom's work for the day. Fond memories! As long as DST doesn't put an exclusive set of Minimates in his hands for Christmas, I will be fine checking this out, if it happens.

Anything more concrete on these? Luke still has them listed for April.

I have hit 12 Walgreens in the last 5 days, a couple of those twice, and have not found either IW2 or the latest animated wave. The only new DST product I have seen has been the Walgreens exclusives of the Kingdom Hearts selects; both wave 2 and 1.5! If I had space, I would pick them all up as they all look neat, but I will stick to the Minimates.

I wasn’t even going to chime in about who it wasn’t. But, I don’t think it has been guessed yet. And I forgot to ask if we were getting micromates of the heroes.

I still say we need a chest block/cap for the Xenomorph that allows for it to be looking ‘up’ for a crawling pose. This would have been perfect for this wave, to give us the swimming Xeno from Resurrection as well as the Ox/Dog Alien from 3.

Are these individually packed? Or is it a box set? I assume the former, since these were designed for TRU.
