And for those that are still working on their customs - Aapje, BHM, Kiyohime, robomate, She-Thing, skullbuster, and punisher's brother - how much more time do you need? Head is a modified Abomination head, with eyes, nose, and mouth sculpts. The wings are cut from a 24 Minimates package, with milliput and tie wraps to add some depth. They're plugged into slots cut on the back of an Abomination chest piece. The tail is sculpted to an Abomination lower torso piece. The feet are also Abom's with the claws hands coming from a Cylon. So I made another, and I had this great little backpack I had taken from a military action figure. The yellow snail was born, and got the added cache of a removable shell! I wasn't sure if I was going to get one done in time, so I asked him not to put my name on the list... Anyway, I've got my contribution done. I present to you all, Captain Lupus - Scourge of the Moonlit Seas. This figure was a blast, and I'm going to be sad to see him go. Hopefully, whomever gets him loves him as much as I do... I am amazed what some people here can do so when I elected to produce a Manimal I really dropped myself in it. To start with I chose a camel which was probably the least-inspired decision I could have made. I really persevered for about 5 minutes & then spent the last few weeks 'with my head in the sand' wishing I hadn't opened my mouth....let the customisers do the customising! Fujis has been really patient & encouraging with comments like " ...get a move on you prick" & " why f$&cking bother" ......so I persevered & today I started again from scratch. Out of the window went the camel idea (shit of the desert) & in came .....something that needed little or no paint ,a modicum of imagination,no special skills but bags of fun. Here's the result....G.I.
