arnim zola
Well hello there and welcome to the laboratory of Skeleton Farm Customs. I’ve finally gotten some time to do my work without interference from a certain Star Spangled Nuisance and his compatriots. And now thanks to you travelers from the Multiverse I have an audience to display my creations to! First I will share this preview of what you can expect, with a nice view of my QC Johnny Blaze, along with concept art I’ve been working on for some soon to be AB and S terrors from a realm that has been left largely untouched since the madmen at D.S.T. have taken power. Behold, and tremble… Hail Hydra err Ivan! THE_CRIPPLER
Awesome job! I wish we would get more Ghost Rider related minimates. At the least a Lillith/Vengeance set and a Zarathos/Blaze with a skull and flames to turn him into Ghost Rider. A Nightstalkers four pack with Hannibal King, Blade, Frank Drake and Strange would be awesome too.

I also did some art for Zodiak, but I messed up the mouth and dont want to show it off till I draw a new one. I also drew art for an upcoming Bday custom that Ill drop in here soon. arnim zola
I've been sitting on these pics and waiting for my Birthday Elephantee to receive his gift before posting and ruining the surprise. I have never seen the show Farscape, but that didn't stop me from going way the hell out of my comfort zone to try something new. It took about 4 months experimenting with sculpting compounds and trying new materials, but I crafted this Neat little custom of D'Argo. I started with a sketch Sculpted his facial stuff Sculpted his hair features Didnt get pics of armor creation (pain in the ass) But it included shaping styrene without the luxury of a heat gun, or even a place in the house to manipulate plastic. Painted parts after this (Must find pics after Photobucket doom) Like most modern minimates, He can be displayed in 2 ways. With or without armor so I detailed him under the armor in case. (Must find pics after Photobucket doom) Here's a clearer shot of chest detailing w/out the beard in the way Here's a shot of the gauntlets I sculpted onto the arm, non removable. (Must find pics after Photobucket doom) Here's some shots of him with the armor and Then I decided to make the sword, I used the same styrene as I did with the armor, but it worked way better for this purpose and I am looking forward to using it again. Making the sword was a lot of fun! First I googled the shit out of it and drew a sketch Then I cut it out carefully, glued it to another layer, cut and repeated so it would be think enough for a minimate to hold. End result was like this Then I painted and detailed it, And it came out like this: Here is gun mode and sword mode Finally I drew a little stand background and drew my own Elephantron robot head. I want to sculpt this at some point and make an actual Elephantron, but was severely limited by time this go round. But I love the sketch and cant wait to work on it. I need to find this pic as it was also lost to photobucket. This was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, and I can't tell you how much stress I felt go away as soon as this was in the mail. More pics at the source link, don't want to bury this with too many angles. Edited March 15, 2018 by arnim zola Photobucket doom
The Scarlet Spider
I have no idea what he's from but that's awesome! Reminds me of if George Lucas had got a hold of Gimli. That scarecrow is also amazing! I never knew marvel had a scarecrow until recently I read the new cap with Falcon as cap and that other dude helping him. (Nomad, I think). That pitchfork and crow are WICKED!!!! Edited September 30, 2015 by The Scarlet Spider

arnim zola
My 90's Ghost Rider got the additional detailing he needed at the time, and his own head instead of reusing another. This was a while back. Here is his head Then after mini Zolette raising hiatus, I was able to finish a scratch version of what Iv'e wanted from a ghost rider for years. Here is his current look, and the way he should come out of the box. The flames come of pretty well here I have several things I want to do to improve my 90's Dan Ketch Ghost Rider, a few of which will require some Alan Moore level sorcery. I'm looking forward to getting some of my new parts and supplies in so I can finish this Ghost Rider and have the Ultimate Dan Ketch figure. Enjoy! Captain Paco
Nice artwork for Maleficent. Disney should do more with Minimates. They had the Peter Pan sets (two four-packs and a ship with a figure). They were nice pieces. Disney owns Marvel, so they inherited those figures when the took over the Comic franchise. But they could have some very nice looking minimates if they did more of their fairy tales. I know they have Kingdom Hearts coming out, but imagine all the characters of Cinderella, Snow White, the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast and so forth. They could do it all very similar to how they did it for Peter Pan. Cinderella: one box set could be Cinderella in her everyday clothes, and her evil step-mother, one of step-sisters, and a servant of the Prince. The other box set could be Prince Charming, the other evil step-sister, the fairy god-mother and a guard of the prince's Then there cold be a Pumpkin Coach with Cinderella in her gown she wore to the ball. Snow White: 1 box set: Snow White, Doc, the Prince & Dopey, The other box set: The evil queen, Bashful, Sleepy, Grumpy. Then we could get a mine cart with Happy and Sneezy. Little Mermaid: this one could be done with one box set and a vehicle set. Box set of Ariel as mermaid, Triton, Ursula and Prince Eric. Then we could get Prince Eric's ship with Arial as a human. Flounder and Sebastian could be minifigures with the ship. Beauty and the Beast: 1 box set: Bella (town attire), Maurice, Gaston, Lefou. 2nd box set: Beast (with parts to make him human), Cogsworth, Lumire Mrs. Potts (all three would be their human counterparts.) but set could include minifigures of them as the clock, candle opera and teapot.) For the set it could be Maurice's invention with a minifigure of Chip as the cup and Belle in her ballgown. There are lots of possibilities. arnim zola
I agree on the possibilities. Peter Pan was done to go with an anniversary release of the movie, so they've already missed several like opportunities there. Not sure why Disney hasn't asked for more exclusives for their store like Pan. But I can say I have a few of those you mentioned in various stages of design/fabrication! arnim zola
I finally got to take some new pictures and can bring this gallery closer to an up to date status. I don't like to post WIP pics until I'm finished, and I didn't want to post anything new when my older mates had sub standard pics. SOOOOO here we go. The first clear shots of Blackheart and his detailing. One of the first customs I made after a ten year hiatus playing music. There is a very cool version of Blackout from after my fave era of Ghost Rider books, this mate of him is a nice representation until I get closer to filling out a Midnight Sons style shelf. Deathwatch was the driving force of villainy behind the first stretch of 90's Ghost Rider books, and a rival to the Kingpin. Commonly appearing in a business suit, his costume is much more toyetic. Marvel's Scarecrow had such an iconic look. He fought Ghost Rider on several occasions as well as Captain America and other heroes. The Orb is one of the classic Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider baddies from the 70's. He rode a bike, I believe he was in a rival stunt show, and he was disfigured under the big (o) helmet. (sorry if you thought he legit had a big eye for a head.) And finally the Water Wizard was another of Johnny Blaze's baddies from the original series.
