Hey guys been awhile since I've been on the board but can anyone tell me off hand if the Dark Avengers box set will be coming to the TRU stores or is it just an online exclusive? And is it just one set or both sets will be available at TRU or TRU.com?

No interest in the classic set but that X-Factor set looks nice. I'll be picking up that X-Factor Angel set anyway since I want Warpath.

Just to confirm with you guys, the Ultimate Avengers minimates came out this week? Haven't been to my local shop yet as I had to wait till today cause it was payday.

Went to TRU today to look if they had any new DC Universe Classics figures but they didn't have any I was looking for. I strolled over the endcap with the Marvel figures and saw they just stocked some of the Wave 3 Marvel Minimates. I picked up the Iron Man two-pack and the Bucky Cap / AIM trooper set. I never saw the Cap and Red Skull set at my local comic shop so it was nice to pick this guy up. I love the updated Iron Man in Red and Gold. He looks great.

Anyone know if they've mentioned making the classic miniflyers ? I remember seeing some prototypse a few years back. Those would be cool.

I have noticed the Terminator ones not having a lot of movement. The BSG ones I've only seen recently stocked so I'm not sure yet about how well they are selling.

Just saw the new Marvel wave last week minus the Moonstone/Bullseye set. I like the Sabretooth and Wolverine set. pretty cool.

My brother just picked up the Apollo and Deanna set for me. I really like them and I appreciate the 2nd opportunity to start picking these up. I went to two TRU's and I've seen both of them fully stocked with the 1st wave. Will pick up Adama and the Razor Cylon next. When are the miniflyers due in stores? I want one for Lee.

Thanks for posting the pics. I will definitely get a Lee Adama set and Admiral Adama and that razor cylon. Who knows this may totally get me into the line. Will definitely get the HOt Dog and viper so I can put lee in there.

New Warriors Night Thrasher Speedball Namorita Justice/Marvel Boy I already have Firestar and Nova (albeit in his current look) so that would round out the original 6 members.

Glad Black Bolt and Captain Marvel are making the minimate cut. Still hoping for Darkhawk, Quasar and an original Guardians of the Galaxy set.

Who else is in this Wave? Cap and Red Skull is supposed to show up at TRU also right? I like the Wolverine and Sabretooth.

As I stated in the other thread, This is cool news. Although the only BSG Minimate I have is Apollo that I bought loose off of Ebay, I hope they do more of the Classic BSG at TRU as well. There were prototypes of Vipers and Cylon Raiders from a few years back that I hope make it to TRU with one classic of modern pilots.

I think they released the T2 minimates now because Terminator Salvation was just released.

Shazam is the name of the Wizard. Captain Marvel is Billy's heroic alter ego. The reason Shazam is on the package is because of rights issues with the name Captain Marvel due to Marvel comics.

These are not my cup of tea. Do they think these will sell more than DC Minimates?

I can tell you for a fact that these are bigger than minimates. I just thought about displaying the Kubrick Mr. Freeze with my minimates. He's about the same scale as Bane.

I picked up my first BSG minimate on Ebay last week and it arrived in the mail saturday. Its Apollo from the original series set. I'll eventually buy the set with Apollo, Boomer, Adama and Starbuck but it was a pretty good deal so i bought it now. He's pretty cool. I always loved the helmets from the original series. The one thing that bums me out is that I remember that they were planning on doing some BSG mini flyers with an original colonial viper and a newer viper from the newer BSG series.
