Just got both of them last night, I really like the X-Factor set, although I'm kinda miffed about missing out on Angel/Warpath lol. But Archangel is keeping them company. I really like the Jean Gray XF version, although the mask covering the whole face is kinda icky. Hopefully they release her red/gold version.

I just saw the news: Phoenix, about time! I've been using the Dark Phoenix body with the New X Phoenix's head forever. Beast is cool too, since I really don't get why we can't go back to that version.

Capt Picard! FINALLY! I'm freaking thrilled! And I'll be even more freaking thrilled when I behead and behand Sisko and creat movie Picard. Although I may use the spare Prof X head I have for that one, I dunno yet. But I'm jazzed that DST has finally hit the 24th century. Can't wait to see Riker and the rest of the Enterprise crew. And of course we know that DST will most likely do a variant early season/Insurrection love machine Riker

I havent liked any of the hair pieces since X3. Seems like they are all too lose and you have to keep the mini-mate in a stable posistion to keep their hair on.

Okay, here's my review: I don't know what it is, but since the X-Men 3 wave, whatever AA did to the hair accessories has SUCKED! all my characters hair barely stays on, unlike my New X-Men Phoenix who's hair is pretty solidly attached. The mates look cool, true, but it's just annoying all the accesories are so loose. And what is up with the handheld stuff. She-Hulk's bar keeps popping out of her hand, and Wanda's Hex bolt wont stay on unless I have her aiming upward. Same thing with Loki's chalice. Thor's Hammer is the only thing that stays put.

Man, I can't wait for all those cool X-Mates Havok, Archangel, Death, Apocalypse and Polaris all look excellent. And Ms Marvel's cool too.

He was Cap in Fallen Son: Captain America. Apparently he's the only man alive who can use the shield just like Cap could. MB and BW were thrown in there cause i ran out of Barton IDs, but I figured his gf would be okay subsitutes.

Have you checked out the trade paper back? Yes. Not my cup of tea, but then again, I'm not a big fan of Kirkman in general.

Hate to say it, but that's one less exclusive i have to buy. I just don't get the whole Marvel Zombies thing.

As far as the a New Avengers set goes, there are THREE NAer's we don't have commerically: Dr.Strange Echo(She's not Ronin anymore, she's going to be on the team offically as Echo) Iron Fist Be pretty easy to fill the forth slot I'd imagine with a few variants/newbies: Masked Astonishing Wolverine Jessica Jones Unmasked Black Spidey Evil Elecktra Hand Ninja and so on.....

1) What's the likelyhood of a Black Panther/Modern Storm minimate pack? 2)Any desire to do any of the current members of X-Factor? Just think of all the variant Multiple Men you could get away with. 3)We know you love Spidey, so what did you think of all the Ultimate Clone Saga clones? Personally the Ultimate Spider-Woman looks cool. 4)You did a New Avengers wave, so is it possible we'll get to see the Mighty Avengers, along with an updated Herr Stark? 5)As far as X-Villains, it seems like we've only gotten a few(Magneto, Sabretooth, Juggernaunt, Mystique, Dark Phoenix). Any chances of getting some more, like Mr Sinster, Calisto, Apocalypse, Toad, Exodus, Bastion, etc.....or does DST want to keep more a heroic balance on the sets? 6)Any Rise of the Silver Surfer plans?

I think it's cause they are doing the spring toy reset. So once the Astonishing/New Avengers wave is out of there, we should get the next Target specific wave in. Hopefully it's some new/redone stuff along with (I'm assuming)X3/GR stuff.

Alright just got back from the comic shop minus the Phoenix chase: Storm-berrie:While I like the overall minimate, there are some pluses and minuses to the thing: The biggest minus being the oven mitts she has for gloves...wth? The cape is cool and the hair different, but the gloves just ruin a passable movie storm toy.... Colossus: Nothing special that we havent seen from colossus 1 and 2, although the color of his skin tries to match that stainless steel look from the movie. Here, as with astonishing, they really should have used the chest booster. Beast: pure awesome as far as the head is concerned, the light blue hands stand out, even though one knows it's to match the light blue skin of the face(ie, no heavy fur like the rest of Beast. The jacket looks nice, especially since it's a new piece and not the New X-Men one. Wolverine: The less said about the hair the better. it reminds me of a power ranger helmet. Other than that, it's Wolvie in his orange jumpsuit. Jean Grey: Looking surprisingly heroic even in her powered down form, Jean's shell of hair works, truely isolating the character from everyone else. The skirt is seperate piece that goes inbetween legs and torso, so no splits while wearing this for Ms Grey. My only complaint is that it just looks too plain, they almost should have added details to the back of her hair to show her powers working, and perhaps made the skirt also look like it was getting whooshed around by tk. Juggernaut: Ah ,here's where all the $ went: Juggy looks fantastic and his boots, harnass and helmet all show it. He definitely is very bulky, and pulls it off well despite the 2 inch limit. Up against him, Colossus looks like a shrimp. As for the overall wave, feels like they changed the plastic, definitely on the hairpieces, less so on the mates themselves, but the mates "feel" different from previous waves. Feels more rubberly to me.

Not much interest in the Marvel Zombies stuff, but I'm all over that bell tower Spidey and Hydro Man. And my mouth is watering for X3 stuff. Cant wait!
