homestar17
Would someone attending be kind enough to swing by the Mattel booth & pick me up the con exclusive Monster High doll (Ghoulia Yelps)? She's $20 & I would be ever so grateful -- especially since I was unable to snag last year's exclusive. Here's a pic of the doll: Big thanks in advance!! Lobsterman
I'll be picking some stuff up from the Mattel booth, so I can grab it. Please PM me like the week of CC to remind me; I'm shopping for a few people, so I don't want to forget you!

TM2 Dinobot
Hey Lobster. Since you're swinging by the booth anyways, How about you snag a She-Ra Polly Pocket set as well? Um... Homestar wanted one of those too... Don't judge me.

MinnesotaIceman
Lobby, will you be stopping by the Marvel Universe booth?
MST3KFan
So much stuff I'm tempted by this year for SDCC... Mattel has Queen Marlena with Cringer for Masters of the Universe Classics, Swamp Thing for DC Universe Classics, and Hasbro has Zarana for G.I.Joe... I hope I can get them, though it'd be cool if I could go myself or knew someone whom could get them.
TM2 Dinobot
It occurs to me that a proxy service could make a lot of money at SDCC. I want that Starscream jet but honestly I think it may be easier just to hit HTS the next morning. Zarana too.
AdyCarter
It occurs to me that a proxy service could make a lot of money at SDCC. I've often wondered if someone in good standing on multiple collectors forums could pay for their entire trip by simply posting from the con floor, getting paypal'd orders and picking them up there and then. Mirymate
Don't judge me. Too late.
dr baghead
I've often wondered if someone in good standing on multiple collectors forums could pay for their entire trip by simply posting from the con floor, getting paypal'd orders and picking them up there and then. I was able to pay for all the exclusives I wanted by charged a $10-per-line surcharge and picking up Mattel/Hasbro/a few other exclusives for people on the Fwoosh last time I went. I'm sure if you charged by item rather then line and expanded to Hot toys, sideshow, neca, etc. in what lines you'd willingly wait in (I had plans, I went to SDCC for fun not lines) you could really clean up. On topic: I was going to say "Ghoula will be on Mattycollector on August 1st, you could just order her there" but then I was eBay looking to see how much a B&W Frankie is going for (errr... simply to research for this thread, not because I've decide to buy a Frankie Stein doll and want the better looking B&W version) ONE HUNDRED DAMNED DOLLARS?!?! That's $40 more then color changing Orko not the Orko who, like Frankie, was on Matty after the show but the show-only Orko. so if Monster High fans are going to ask for that kind of mark up on the exclusive dolls, don't wait for Matty they'll mess it up somehow, forget I even suggest that, that's a crazy idea... get someone at the show who wants the Unimen and is in that line anyway to get it for you, good call! See, that's just it. The B&W Frankie from last year was $20 as well. There were a few from another forum I frequented that were willing to pick up a few extra, but the cheapest one was $50 (after outrageous shipping & handling -- one had the gall to say that she was charging so much extra cuz she was missing panels by standing in line & that she had to pay for her new stuff coming in somehow). That's why I figured I'd come here instead. While there are/have been a couple that would rake their fellow boardies over the coal pricewise, they are few and far between. Y'all are so much kinder & overall decent people that it puts a lot of other forums to shame. <3 And bag, most doll people (not just Monster High fans) would gouge the eyes of their own grandmothers to get that exclusive or next hottest doll release. It's pretty much why I gave up most of my other forums & just hang here.
TM2 Dinobot
Awww, we love you too, Homestar. *hides eye-gouging tools*
Mirymate
I have a different favor to ask of any Multiversers who will be attending SDCC and any of the Spider-Man related Marvel Panels. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would ask Marvel editorial if 2012 is the year Spidey's deal with the Devil will come bite him firmly on the @$$ or do we need to wait a little longer? And no the implosion of his Broadway show and impending suckage of the next movie does not count.
Twisted Two-Face
Not to steal Homestar's thread, but i have my own favor to ask of an attendee Would anyone mind picking up a set of these for me?? They're free at the DC booth (feel free to ignore the Black chip, that's a little too much ), and i'd really love a set!! "In the world of FLASHPOINT, Thomas Wayne is Batman. He funds his crime efforts in part by being the head honcho of Wayne Casinos. Now it’s your chance to buy in. To celebrate FLASHPOINT, we will be distributing 5 different collectible Wayne Casinos poker chips as exclusive giveaways at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on these limited chips because they’ll each only be available on specific dates. The colors, dollar denominations, and availability dates for the chips are as follows: $1 Chips (White) – Wednesday, July 20th $5 Chips (Red) – Thursday, July 21st $10 Chips (Blue) – Friday, July 22nd $25 Chips (Green) – Saturday, July 23rd $50 Chips (Orange) – Sunday, July 24th $100 Chips (Black) – These will be given away at DC panels throughout the convention to attendees who ask the best questions! Stop by the DC Booth to grab these rare collector’s items. Are you ready to play?" Thanks in advance, no pressure though.

karamazov80
If someone would be so kind as to swipe the Wolverine Legendary Figure from Sideshow's display and shoot it over to me, there's a case-fresh Riot Spidey with your name on it!
