smackman
My fiance and I will be tying the knot in just a few weeks on August 24 and I think nothing would be cooler than bride and groom minimates that look like us on top of our cake. Now I've only collected DC and Marvel mates and I don't remember anything resembling a bride and groom. Are there any civilian characters from other lines that I can make some quick bride and groom customs with?
Kostisfire
Sand Saref in her dress would make a good bride. And a Tony stark in a suit with the top hat from the peter pan kid would make a good groom.
Lobsterman
Congratulations! You might try Frank Whimple from the Mummy set, maybe Sand Serif from the Spirit 2-pack? Or, Lorrane from BTTF Enchantment 2-pack (you'd have to paint her). Hail Ivan.

buttheadsmate
Try the 'mate section at TRU love ......not sure which aisle.... they always seems to altar things. Maybe give them a ring first ? Edited July 30, 2013 by buttheadsmate
hellpop
Luke did something like this for a buddy of his awhile back: http://minimatefactory.com/blog/?p=1280 Lucky bastard. I would probably use the body from Dr. Van Helsing and top it off with the top hat from Peter Pan's John. Both shouldn't be too hard to acquire right now. Sand Sarif is probably as fine a bride as you're likely to find. BTW, we used Playmobile figures for our cake topper.
smackman
Does anyone have any decals like for a tux or wedding dress? Sand serif's skin tone doesn't match well with other mates.

hellpop
Mina Harker's dress without the shawl also looks like a wedding dress.
