straycat
For any of you who's wondering how avengers lego mixed with minimates will look, these photos will give you guys some idea. Since I live in Hongkong, I still don't have my new avengers minimates, I used minimates from the old marvel movies' wave. This is my first post, hope you like them. The Geohound
At the very least, you know how to take quality, in-focus pictures. Welcome to posting. Here's hoping to see more of you. Join us in the General Pictures Thread if you feel so inclined. And all these lego pictures really are making me consider buying some of them. Crazy. nate_studio
Nice photos, straycat. Those legos are pretty cool and it's nice to see how they look with the 'mates. I'll probably pass on getting the legos, myself, but some of them are pretty tempting.

DSTZach
Welcome to the boards, straycat! These pics make me wish C3 was still around. I though the Lego stuff would be too small, and was eying a Hasbro battle tank, but these look great.
Bob Harris
Look really nice. And as the other already said: welcome to the 'verse!
karamazov80
Is that the movie version of the Quinjet?
straycat
Is that the movie version of the Quinjet? Yes, it's Lego 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle, with a little bit of customizing the cockpit in order to fit the minimates. And the shield truck is from 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape. Welcome to the boards, straycat! These pics make me wish C3 was still around. I though the Lego stuff would be too small, and was eying a Hasbro battle tank, but these look great. I miss them too, I think C3 are great. Especially the batcave. It's way better than the lego version.
DarthBurkie
Thanks for the pics, I'm going to order the Quinjet at least! Welcome!!!
SlushyFrog
I'm tempted to buy the Lego but it's really expensive. Has anyone tried using the 3.75" Hasbro Quinjet with Minimates?
Zylek
I just built the new IM3 Malibu Attacks set over the weekend, I swapped out some mates to see how they look. They are just a tad too big.

Mystery Man
I got it way back when it first came out and don't recall having to make any mods to fit minimates in the. Or if I did, it was very VERY small.
Zylek
I just checked my Quinjet and a minimate can fit in the cockpit without modifications.
Onyx_6
If I recall, I had to mod the controls slightly for the feet to fit. Other than that, it works well! And you get that hot Black Widow minifigure
The Vox
Great reminder of how ridiculously superior Minimate mini-figures are over Lego. And I agree with Zach.. I miss C3.. The full size Batmobile and Batwing were pretty much building brick perfection. -Vox

Never could finish the build. And I spent quite a bit on that thing too...
