I'm all for obscure Marvel characters. Like Mysterio, Kraven, Aunt May, The Lizard, The Vulture, Jubilee, Toad, Sauron, The Inhumans, Excalibur, Skrulls, The Ultimates, Bucky, Cloak, Dagger, Deadpool... On second thought, I'm beginning to think that truly obscure Marvel characters are going to have to get in line.

Man, so many more characters that are hoped to be made. The Inhumans, more Asgardians, more villains, more Avengers! I wouldn't even be opposed to more X-Men if they'd complete sime teams.

Tough choice between Sinister Six, Masters of Evil, and Wrecking Crew, but I had to go with Sinister Six for plausibility and convenience of getting 5 essential new villans in one-shot. If I were to pick an X-Men box set, it would have to be "Classic" First Appearance X-Men with: Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast( non-blue, hairless, ape), Iceman, Angel in black and yellow with F.A. Magneto. However, my personal choice (not listed) is "classic" Inhumans: Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, and of course...Lockjaw(in the same vein as the BSG Daggit art). If the only way the Defenders could get some love was by box set, then there's no reason that the Inhumans can't. Those who know would love it and those who don't would certainly learn to. Solid-choice.

I'd take a Fin Fang Foom or a Forbush Man. And a giant Ultimo to tower right along with Fin Fang Foom. Remember him? I'd like all the Inhumans and all teams of Avengers and lots of villains for all the heroes. Will we ever get an Alicia Masters or Aunt May or Lady Dorma? When are we gonna get a whole team of the original X-Men?! And what about the Blob and the Vanisher and Mastermind and the Toad and Unus the Untouchable!? Mimic or the Cobalt Man too! I'd love a Kang, a Dragon Man, an Immortus, an Ultron, and all the heroes and villains from Asgard. No Avengers team is complete without an Ant-Man/Giant Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, Vision, Black Panther, Hercules, Black Knight, Mockingbird and Jarvis. What about the Blackie Drago Vulture? And an Adrian Toomes while we're at it. Maybe a Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Mandarin and Spymaster? Where's the Ghost? A Crossbones would be great, if only to go with a Red Skull and a Diamond Back would be nice, too. Where's the Mr. Hyde and Cobra? What about Baron Zemo and the Radioactive Man? The Melter and the evil Black Knight for an original Masters of Evil? Of course we should already have an Enchantress and Executioner for the 2nd incarnation... but we'll OBVIOUSLY get those with all the heroes and villains of Asgard. What about the Shocker? The Lizard? Man Mountain Marko, even?

In the event that Series 19 isn't an Avenger wave, then I'd go with X-Men (I'd love to say "Spiderman villans", but I'm holding hopes for a Sinister Six boxset or "Cosmic Classics" like: Adam Warlock, Nova, Drax, Inhumans,etc.). While I'm not a big fan of X-Men past the early 80's, there are a few holes that I'd personally like to fill (again, no particular order or pairing): Angel ( With a "red/white" Champions version as the variant) Beast (As much as I usually don't care for so many versions, it seems odd that of all the Beasts we've received, we've never gotten the "true" quinessential "classic 616" version. This particular look is universal to X-Men, Avengers, Champions, etc.) Banshee Sunfire Gambit (We saw the control-art yeeeaaars ago...what happened?) Psylocke ( I never really cared for the character, but well, see above ^; alot of people do.) Phoenix ( We never got that "green/yellow" version like we thought from Target.) Villans, villans, villans! For all the possibilities, this team is sorely lacking in villans. Until a "Brotherhood of evil mutants" set happens I'll suggest for starters: Sabretooth (For all the Wolverines produced, how is it that we never got a classic 616 Sabretooth?!) Toad ( Again, shown in control-art a loooong time ago!) Pyro Avalanche Mr. Sinister Besides a Brotherhood Boxset, I'd still really like to see a "Classic" original X-Men boxset someday (much like ToyBiz's old 5" box, but with a classic Magneto as well).

Thanks, I am rather proud of my choices An Inhumans box-set would be awesome for any of us Dr. Doo...er, I mean Fantastic Four fans. Black Bolt is, of course, a must not only for the Inhumans but also for Illuminati recreation, especially with Dr. Strange confirmed and Namor as very possibly being in the same set, hopefully coming out this year, BB is all we'll need for that grouping. If they limit the box-sets to 4 or 5 though Maximus, Karnak and Gorgon all have a chance like you said, but Medusa could be used in a Frightful Four set, unless they go with Titania. Also, you forgot Crystal, BBDarkhawk, though she would go well in an alternate FF set or two-pack, with FF She-Hulk or She-Thing. Then there's Triton... yeah, I'm cool if they skip Triton.

Well, with all the hype around the New Spidey Box Set and the new Zombie Box Set and the "Secret" Defenders Box Set I started thinking about what I'd like to see. Then, I started thinking, we haven't done a "Box Set" thread in a while - so let's get another one started. I remember after the Giant Sized X-Men Box Set came out we were all begging for more box sets, but after a while of none it kind of died down. However, with the recent announcements it seems that Box Sets are the new black. We know that the Spider-Man and Zombie sets are 5 'mates and the Defenders set will be 4. So, what new boxed sets would you guys like to see? The only rule is it needs to be kept to a 4-5 'mate list. It was weird, I'm a Fantastic Four freak and I did enjoy the episode, it was just weird though. I can't wait for the rest of the season as well. Since the Hulk's going to make an appearance, I wonder if any other Heroes associated with the Fantastic Four will appear (Ie. Namor, Black Panther, the Inhumans, Uatu the Watcher, and if we see the Kree again Captain Marvel).

Avengers(any era would do, classic mostly). Inhumans would be nice, Sinister Six would be cool. :spideysense2:

Durh...just reread that, stupidest comment ever! Inhumans ARE classic. I meant "a few more classics before X-statix". Geez, 'panda!

Daredevil #1 would be way too cool. I'd also vote for Defenders (Namor/Dr Strange!) or Avengers (Thor!). Inhumans and X-statix would be cool too, but I'd like to see some more classics first. Also, a Groo set would be cool since I can never down the PVC set.

I'll second the votes for an X-Statix and Alpha Flight box sets. And I would love to have an Inhumans box set, too. Would a box set of the Multiple Man be silly?
