So you would rather have limited access through brick an mortar with no blind bags at bigger retailers? There is one store within 40 miles of me that sells Minimates so I think that blind bags are great from the perspective of getting them at more stores.

I don't think there is a way they could not release Mothra. So many fans are in love with Mothra (myself included) that I bet it's not an option they considered.

He looks like he might be a tad shorter but its hard to tell because of the posing. In the Game of Thrones line Tyrion and Arya are shorter than the others so they can get this right.

I was thinking that Minimates could become more widespread (like Ninja Turtles, SW Black Series, Marvel Mashers) and have blind bags at more retailers instead of being restricted to a few retailers.

2.5 inch mystery minis. Between this, Turtles, and all the Minimates I am going to be broke!

Theoretically blind bags would get rid of TRU exclusivity so they would be in more stores. In my mind this means they would be easier to access and the secondary prices wouldn't be to bad, as long as the short packed figures aren't extremely rare that is.

These look really good and I'm definitely in for a set. Do you guys see non toy collectors buying these? There is a group of about 15 people who play Pathfinder every week at my local game store and I can't imagine a single one of them buying these. They are all so unbelievably cheap that I am still shocked by there unwillingness to spend 50 cents on a soda. Whenever new players are looking at the rule books and such they tell them to go on line where they can save 10 bucks, in front of the owner. Granted this is only my limited sample pool, but the only way I see the non toy collector people who play this game buying them is if they get them on a TRU clearance for $1.49.

Will definitely be buying this set! Hopefully it comes with awesome accessories like the other box set.

This is where I stand as well.

A spot of glue and an overnighter to dry and he's good as new! Looks great on the shelf and he will be making some cameos in Minimate photos when I get around to taking them.

So my box made it to my porch today, it must have made its way through a pretty rough neighborhood in San Fran because when I opened the box one of his legs was snapped clean off! UPS failed me for the first time The break is very smooth so it should glue back together nicely. I got grey and he looks great! What did everybody else get?

I thoroughly enjoyed it, I only wish they would have showed a tad more Godzilla kicking ass!

According to USPS tracking my package should have arrived on Thursday, instead of stopping in Utah it is currently in San Francisco,,, If it doesn't make it to Utah USPS will have hell to pay!

The darker source material is good, I would prefer they be the current Nickelodeon incarnation. Then again I suppose the current toy line for that is pretty good so I don't need more. I think I will just buy a full box and then fill the gaps (if any), the post says they are all 1/12 rarity which is awesome.
