......12+12+4+9 = 37 damn brain not working on a sunday i think they sell well down here because they put some thought into marketing i buy alot of minimate's for customizing and the one's i dont use i trade/give back to my lcs they then give the out to children and new collectors and do promotion's. at x-mas we had the minimate x-mas crackers, each cracker had a random minimate in it which was given away to the kids, theres the minimate easter eggs in a couple of weeks and i'm already helping stock pile spare's for the fcbd 08 give away now if only other places or dst put some thought into doing things like this they might/would boost sale's come on there is no other toy/action figure were you can mix and match from so many different comic, tv, movie's together, their compatible with lego and other building block stuff, hell you can even make your own figures out of them "the bat-spider-man"

plymouth should be getting their's by the end of the march/early april i think their buying in large amounts from the US for us in the UK which i'm glad for as hate getting stung for custom's charge's £12 for a set of minimates £12 shipping £4 vat charges £9 handling fee total £39 but remember all the stuff they will be selling is "an adult only collectible not for children under the age of 14" so no sticking minimates in your or your childrens mouths people on an interesting note the defenders box set was a no-go for the same reason dst are'nt shipping to the uk, it was in previews, i ordered it, then it got cancelled by my lcs, but they got some from the US last week and guess whats on the bottom of the box......... thats right its safe to sell in the UK

i doubt dst will make them (for the love of god prove me wrong) SG-1

i'd like it if they put some thought into it, i think they do sometimes like: bsg 1 you got an extra cylon bsg 3 a spare pilot trek wave 1, a spare red shirt trek 2 a spare yellow shirt trek 3 a spare vulcan ( i think the klingon would have been better)

its an x3 beast with with some paint nail polish removered off

well i had loads of spare arm's so i cut them up, drilled small holes in them then using twisty tie's that come with marvel legends put them through the holes and rest as the say is history.. i also used the same drill and ties on the Andorian's head

they did'nt get them in till after my lunch break yesterday so i've just picked mine up and got a spare set of defenders box set, i'll tell them off when i go in for comics tomorrow!!!

Good observation Winkerbean. Would allow for a nice Apollo in undershirt custom using the extra-Doc. And I'm sure you could find a quick custom use for the extra-Doc head. Thinking ... well (and you heard it here first) i was thinking that the extra doc head would be good as a Col. John "Hannibal" Smith to go with the A-Team when we get our classic Starbuck & Clubber figure's later in the year just need to find the perfect hair..........

Of course we'll never see "classic" Who unless the first, "new" Who sell. Hopefully our British-bretheren can pick-up the slack (assuming that these will be an international release). Give us some "Dalek/Cyberman" army-builder sets and I'll do my share! That's the danger isn't it? Hopefully Underground will pay for the CE safety testing necessary to sell them in Europe. If that doesn't happen then it's only likely to be 'mate fans in the know, and clued up Who fans that'll end up grey importing them for themselves. If they do pay for the testing then these things will fly off of the shelves once kids see em. which would introduce kids to the world of minimates & when they realise the potential of having the doc meeting spider-man, batman, rocky, taking on the marvel zombies, battling the cylons etc, etc, etc and the fact that they can be used with "generic building block's!!!" may build up a demand for minimates outside of your friendly neighbourhood comic shop DST may regret their decision not to ship to Europe and we all know once you start down the minimate path, forever with it dom-minimate you bank balance!!

wow i like the Iron Man movies mates & it gets me thinking in the with dst doing marvel movie mates will we see punisher: war zone mates & x-men origins: wolverine mates, the punisher one's would be unlikly but wolverine would be cool but we'd probably get movie version of characters that we want in comic form, with the cast of mutants filling up we'd get characters like... Blob Deadpool Sabertooth Silver Fox Stryker Gambit & a couple wolverine's there's probably gonna be enough to do 2 wave's!!!
