That's what the trading post feedback is for I say lose the counts, they are meaningless anyways. T. As I said, the post counts are "not the only criteria" I use. What if someone has not completed a trade yet, but has spent the past few months contributing meaningful posts to the board? A very recent contest winner had 2 posts in their three plus months on the board and both were in the Contests threads. Would you deal with them? If there were no post counts you may be led to think, "hey this guy's been around for months and I haven't heard anything bad about/from him". In reality he could be someone just hanging out looking for handouts and/or trying to scam somebody gullible in the Trading Post. We've had that element before. In my opinion, the counts are just another tool to know who you're dealing with.

This is a touchy subject... There have been instances lately where people have been outright rude, and that's absolutely unacceptable. I for one am a very sarcastic person and what I consider humor may be sometimes be construed as mean-spirited. We all have "off-days" and sometimes come off a little less than friendly. I also know that the Staff and longtime, well-respected members have posted a few questionable comments as well- it's not just the new guys. I may take a little heat for that statement, but it's true. Do I think any less of them? Hell no. Nobody's perfect. This is the only message board I post on regularly, but I can say that I thoroughly respect our staff and their judgement. Whether or not a comment, post, or question is appropriate is very subjective though. My opinion is that this is a forum. An open forum. The less rules, the better. I was getting a little burned out on the AA boards before they closed because it seemed like every time you looked, posts were moved, deleted, edited, etc. Some of the mods over there got a little too big for their breeches and I'd hate to see this place go down that road. If you want to reign in disrespect, spam, etc then that's great. I'd just like to avoid this becoming a police state. I like the idea of PMing the blatant offenders. Suspend them if they don't shape up and publicly acknowledge the reason why someone was suspended so that others can understand what is acceptable and what isn't.

As long as the post counts are available somewhere. Although not the only criteria, it helps me determine if a possible trader is here to be part of the community or to just scam.

I'm a huge Fantastic Four fan, but I must admit I abandoned comics a while back due to some lame storylines, increased pricing and books half-full of advertisements. I do still pick up the occasional TPB, but I have not picked up any of the Civil War books. I do have a general idea about the plot though. It seems like Johnny and Ben are still around and trying out new members. What happened to Reed and Sue? Did she get knocked up again??? Regardless of how good this storyline is, having a Fantastic Four that is not Reed, Sue, Ben & Johnny sucks! (although I didn't have a problem with the She-Hulk era for some reason)

Along these same lines: -In addition to the lowered quality, a lot of the characters' costume details no longer wrap around the whole body. How do you justify lower quality and less detail with a higher price tag?

I'm with you bro! I have quit a few toy lines recently because what you get isn't worth what you paid. Unfortunately, when consumers continue to buy the cheap crap that gets churned out it becomes the industry standard.

I finally saw these at Target tonight. $5 a pack! That's almost a buck cheaper than Galactic Heroes. Very cool. I was going to pick up Cap/Hawkeye, but the 2 packs they had weren't very good in the paint apps department. On one, Hawkeye's "H" on his head was waaay off center and on the other, Cap's ear paint was all over the side of his mask/cowl. They look pretty flippin' sweet though. I'm surprised that there aren't any variants though. A blue skinned Archangel would've been cool. Thanks for the info on the Invisible Woman, guys. You can bet your ass I'm going to pick up that whole wave! When's the Spidey wave gonna be announced? It can't be too far off...

Yeah, the original Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow can still be found in my area too...

TM2 Dinobot, I'm not sure what Hasbro you've been dealing with, but I got a Sigma 6 Snake Eyes missing one of his visors and contacting Hasbro got me an answer along the lines of: "we don't have extra stock/pieces here, so return it to the store". If I got that over a visor, I find it hard to believe they're going to send a box and replace a figure because of shoddy paint apps.

Being a huge Fantastic Four fan, I gotta say it pisses me off to no end when they do 2 or 3 of the four. I know Invisible Woman could show up in a later wave, but that's what they did with Figure Factory and they cancelled the line before the last wave with Sue showed up in my area. Anybody have an Invisible Woman Figure Factory??? On topic, the Superhero Squad Fantastic Four Three look awesome!

I just counted and I have 73 Marvel Legends. I have every regular-edition figure and close to half the variants from Series I to Series IX (Legendary Riders Wave). Like JL, I'm a completist (bordering on severe OCD) and always had to have every figure in the wave regardless of how terrible it looked. Thankfully I've conquered my ML addiction. I'll still pick up a character/variant here and there, but not much. I'm still hunting for that unmasked Green Goblin! The Hasbro line sucks already. As Austin Powers would say: That's not Emma Frost, it's a man, baby!

I can't find them anywhere, but once I do I'm sure I'll be hooked! I've got almost every Galactic Hero already...

I'm getting pretty spoiled by my wireless 360 controller. I may have to check out the wireless Nerf for my PS2...

After all the questions and hesitancy, I took the plunge. I am now the owner of a brand new Xbox 360! My first game was Oblivion. Bad choice- I was dozing off during a marathon run through the land... I wised up and picked up Project Gotham Racing 3 and haven't looked back since. I got a raincheck for Gears of War- Target has it on sale for $39 this week, so it was sold out... (My copy of PGR3 had a copy of Forza Motorsport for Xbox packed in with it. If there are any Xboxers that are interested in that, drop me a PM)

Soundwave was cool as hell! If I recall correctly, there was a jive-talkin' red & yellow Autobot boombox too. His name is escaping me though... Unfortunately to get an original (or even that TRU reissue) you'll probably have to resort to eBay or the flea markets. Good luck! That's a good choice for an old toy to obsess over!

I have a PS3 I haven't opened, can't find a Wii, and am afraid to buy a 360 due to possible malfunction. Decisions, decisions... Gotta do something before the end of the year. Micro Center has $200 in rebates on the 360. Without that discount, it's officially out of the race!
