I started buying these for my older brother (a pack rat), for this past Christmas. I went to the Target by my house and copped Blade 2 pack and Super Skrull 2 pack for him. At the opening ceremony, I received a Spider Man goblin 2 pack and it was on and poppin' from there. Since this Christmas (5-6 months) I have amassed 274 minimates! It became a full blown sickness. My girlfriend hates them, I am spending all kinds of money on them, and I find myself traveling from toystore to CBS, to Targets all over the South and MidWest. I have amassed almost all old 3"inchers, almost all old Marvel, all DC, all LOTR, all BSG, all SR, all SF2. I am only lacking a few c3 sets as well. Not to mention my exclusives, variants, double 2 packs I can't stop buying, and my custom jobs. I am sick... and the worst part is I have plenty of money to spend, so this could go on forever. Boxed sets - yes, please 2 packs - definately singles/variants/promos - a must. Look, We all give our opinions here about this and that, but in the end you have to evaluate realistically. Boxed: Con - Too pricey for the kid, or the guy who has to pay child support. Pro - Get them all in one snatch. 2 packs: Con - There is always the second guy nobody really wants (Kitty Pride or any random bad choice mate) Pro - More focused on your favorites and less money spent on figures you dont want / need. Singles: Con - Only sell the most popular guys. No chances being took here. Pro - Only have to buy the one you want. Variant 2 packs: Con: Always stuck with a repeat...ALWAYS the crap figure! Pro: Not all collectors can be on the same level. There has to be some exclusivety. Think about it, everyone likes to show off rarities (think: MUSEUMS!) Cons / Other exclusives: Con: Very few Super Nerds actually can afford to hit every con, so this means us 9 to 5 ers have to get them paying way too much. Pro: I have some, so there are cool collectors looking out for us. Makes my collection more valid. I do think that they should either make 2 variants per wave, or offer a new second character (or color) to that variant pack. I believe that DST and AA have done a fantastic job chopping it up and offering variety in this vast collection. This makes perfect sense. Hold on to the ride, or get rolled over. Only the strong survive... WW4M

Sorry for being the hater here, but I-Robot was decent at best, and only had 3 characters the whole movie. I've read this entire thread and I don't believe what I am reading!!! No interest in Rocky? I-Robot is awesome? Look, I love Minimates as much as the rest, but we could have way better suggestions for MM's. Worst: RA Spidey - Way too dark, purple? Luke Cage - Grey beanie? Looks like grey hair... Gwen Stacey - Unfashionable, and too unpopular. Beast (Blue) - Yellow boustea? Wack PP/Spidey and Green Goblin - Worst 2 pack ever Darktide Cyclops - He has a thick body, but Hulk and Thing don't?, and the hair is corny Speed Racer Unmased Spidey - he has a mask on? Shouldn't it be partially masked Spidey? Best: DC 1-3 so far is killing eveything they design! I mean this!!!! Ben Reiley - like it. Frosted Iceman - awesome. S3 black spidey - new and gnarly! Venom and Carnage - must haves BSG Wave 1 - Awesome detail and accessories. Iron fist - cool Classic Iron Man - Favorite character Blade - Swords rock! No FYE's in Georgia are carrying the BSG two packs as of today yet. Couple stores have the Cylon 5 packs. LCBS wants 10.79 a 2 pack and 19.99 for the variant! I want to support my locals, but ouch! 53 bucks for BSG???? Never even seen 1 episode! WW4M
