Looking at the 2 Batman packs and the Deathstroke pack, I can't help but notice that the hair pieces are not visible. According to this pic, DC MINIMATES both Batman and Deathstroke will come with hair pieces. Do y'all think they scrubbed the hair pieces or are they just well hidden somewhere on the blister card? Comments please. P.S: What do you all think is under Harley Quins mask? Anther white face expression or a flesh colored Harleen Quinzel face?

I think that the Norman Osborn / GG just might be MM of the year. Amazing detail and I'd say the likeness is with out a doubt BANG ON! Way to go DST and AA! Keep up the good work.

Well, we saw some Moviemate posters at the NYC TF. If DST is going this route, what would be some killer licences? Let's breath some new life into this topic thread. What movies would make decent MMs and which poster would look cute in MM form. Remember that certain movies have more than on poster when they are solicited. Here are some of my picks: Aliens: Ripley / Hicks Vasquez / Hudson Bishop / Burke Alien army builder case ( a la Cylons single sets) Movie Poster: The one with Ripley holding Newt. Pirates of the Carribean: Jack Sparrow / Barbossa Will Turner / Elizabeth Swan Pirate Zombie 2 pack Movie Poster: The cover of the DVD case. Resevoir Dogs: Boxed set: Mr.White, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink, Mr Brown and Nice Guys Eddie. Poster: The one with them all walking together. Kill Bill: Boxed set: The Bride, Elle Driver, Bill, Vernita Green, Bud and Oren Ishi Poster: The one with Uma in her yellow jumpsuit brandishing her katana.

So what's the deal with these? Could these be part of some Moviemates line? Maybe a boxed set for each line? Or is it just something for fun? Can't really see people clamoring to get there hands on a madonna MM or even Tom Cruise for that matter. Clint Eastwood on the other hand... hmmm? I wonder.. Dirty Harry'd be a nice addition. Don't you guys think so?

Man, there's gonna be one hell of a lot of MMs this year. 24 looks amazing and BSG wave 2 looks so-so.

I've made about 50 customs. Not 1 do I still own. They are now part of the collecting community around the world.

So gang, how big a minimate presence do you all think'll be at this years NY Toyfair? What are the chances they'll be a few surprises like summer convention exclusives?

Has it been said how the new DCD minimates will be packaged? Blister carded or boxed a la Marvel minimates? Also, how many per case? 12 per case with 3 of each pair? Any info would be nice.

I checked it out myself and sure enough, DCD says that series 2 will be released March 7/ 2007. Anybody think that this is a typo on DCD's behalf? It sure would be nice if it's the real deal. One week apart! Woo Hoo! Knock on wood. :powergirl:

Other than having the wrong dates posted, where does it explain why they've been delayed and where did this site get their info. Other sites are still posting the tentative release dates like the ones bellow. So who right? Series 1 Series 2 Series 3

The movie was OK but not AMAZINGLY GREAT. He didn't use the modern armor enough. The 7 minute preview of Dr. Strange sure looks amazing though.

Just saw the solicitation for DCD minimates wave 5 in the latest issue of Previews at my local CBS and in the DC Direct section, they have a full page spread showing us the latest pairings we've seen on the net and if you look at RT and Ha Hunkel, you see a small circular pic of her sans pot. She's sportin' a chubby face and some black hair. Sorry I don't have a copy to scan, but it's out there. UPDATE: Here is the pic from Previews magazine

Here's a pic of a DCD minimates poster I was able to score from my local CBS. Waves 1 - 4 are shown with their respective realease dates at the bottom. Curious thing though, it say "Figures range in size from 2.5" to 3". Must be a typo. Anyway... enjoy.
