I just hope (if we do end up with Ant-Man minimates in any capacity) that they come packaged with micro minis of Ant-Man and Yellowjacket at the very least.

Hidden Feature counts as anything not visible upon first look. Transforming Hulk counts as you have to open the package and peel off layer from the minimate to find Banner. Heck, some votes have even been cast for the BBT's couch in this category. Alternate look Mutant Camp Kate Pryde counts as a hidden feature. Army Builders are any minimate you can display as multiples. Future Sentinel and Ultron Drones are eligible for voting in this category.

Okay folks, we are one week into January and a bunch of go-getters have already cast their votes for the Best Minimates of 2014. Every week I will be updating this post (#46) with a list of the MMMV members who voted that particular week. I am doing this in order to (hopefully) secure a better voter turn-out this year. I placed my order on Dec 11 and received the goblins Dec 29. 18 days to ship to Ottawa, Canada. They never really sent me any shipping notification. As with the lot of you every time I checked my account it said "payment processed and shipping pending". I gave up checking after two weeks and it showed up 4 days later. I can confirm that minijeff ordered his a day later than me and received his two or three days after I got mine.

The category is not labeled BEST MARVEL MOVIEMATE, but BEST MOVIEMATE. The sheer amount of movie based minimates is why the category was established this year. So in short, if a minimate listed in the first post was in a movie, it's eligible for voting.

Yes. Unfortunately his lack of articulation classifies him as one. I know he has a gun, but going forward, let's classify all non articulated characters (ie: Rocket, Snarf, Ma-Mutt etc) as non-weapon accessories. It'll just make life easier.

For anybody looking to score those elusive GenCon Pathfinder goblin promo mates, I have good news. Prior to Christmas, I was scouring the internet looking to procure my last 2 promos and I stumbled across www.moviemars.com. Upon doing a search for "minimate" I saw that they had all 4 promo goblins listed as "in stock", but with no pics. I took the plunge and ordered some. Flash forward several weeks (to today) and they actually arrived. So I can confirm MovieMars IS a reputable source to acquire these little guys. All 4 are available (Munchkin, Konkrud, Dogslicer Ale and Preview) for $6.66 each. Now remember, when you do a search, type minimate and not minimates as the plural will not yield any results for the goblins. Go get 'em and good luck.
