Don't know if it's been mentioned, but Holocaust looks much better IMO with a torso extender added, and you can hardly see it through the clear yellow.

Alrighty, that was definitely a better setup. Far comfier for me and easier to see what I'm doing for anyone watching. For anyone who didn't catch these beta-episodes, I was painting Minimates of me and my girlfriend, so nothing too exciting. Future shows will have pop-culture based customs so people know who I'm making. It seems like later at night EST works better for people, so I'll probably stick to that. And I won't be streaming during any Multiverse-hosted chats.

So, that seemed like a success. Didn't get as much painting done as I'd have liked to, for the webcam to actually show what I was doing I had to use a different setup than I normally do, so my hands were shaky and it was hard to not cover up what I was doing. I'll work on changing the setup for the future, probably something of a bird's eye view of my desk. And also I'll actually be scheduling future painting sessions at least a few hours in advance.

DillG - All 2 of these guys are out of my hands and being shipped to the customer lastmaximal - I'm sorry, but for now I've got to take a break from commissions, life's been busy, and I realized I hadn't made a custom for myself in quite a while . But if and hopefully when I get back into it I was actually hoping to re-evaluate my prices and get some people's opinions on what they would expect to pay. Punisher - Keep up the amazing ideas! Bob and Boyd - Thanks again! The Mignola style customs are really fun to make, I really want to look into making more artist-specific customs.

Twenty Two EDIT: WHAT!? No it's not!

So hey! Update time! Another commission for Mr. Punisher which allowed me to finish a custom I had started but at some point lost the desire to complete... Ramona Flowers! That's Mark VI Iron Man hair cut apart and sculpted, and all the accessories are scratch-built. The roller skates are removable, and the head of the hammer is thin plastic over foam, so it's very lightweight and can be held without the need for a base in more poses. And of course, why just get Ramona? You gotta have... Scott Pilgrim! Scott Pilgrim Mk.3 has newly sculpted hair that better captures the style (and enormous ears) of the art, specifically the art from Vol. 4's cover, which was also the basis for the face. How does he compare to my Scott? Well I wish I wasn't sending him away And finally, Punisher wanted a companion to his Hellboy. The original plans called for Kriegaffe #10, but unfortunately I couldn't find a single part I needed. So option #2 was... The Alien! The Alien here came together surprisingly easily, probably cause the reference art had a heck of a lot less details than Hellboy's did And finally, to round out that Scott Pilgrim collection, here's the promised Nega-Scott photoshop So ya next time1

What is your favorite single minimate? Statue of Liberty. YA RLY What minimate/pack did you spend the most money on? I've honestly only really paid retail, so just pick a random 4 pack. What was your hardest to find mate/pack that you now own? I don't know anything about rarity. Maybe my Clear Blue Blank? What are you looking forward to most out of the newly announced minimates? Custom fodder. What mate/pack do you hope to see announced for next year? Squirrel Girl and the rest of the GLA. It's well beyond past the time that these would have been released, but a man can dream.

And this is where my habits of taking apart every Minimate I have for customs fails me.

Sorry DillG, I'm pretty worn out on Scott Pilgrim right now, so it's unlikely you'll be seeing more from me. But just for you, I'll photoshop up a Nega-Scott when I post Ramona. And yeah, I did sculpt the sideburns, and I have no idea where any of my jackets came from (except Gideon's, his is from Jack Bauer) All my parts are separated in a tool box, so I just used whatever jackets I had and sculpted the details.

Been saying this for years, wee need the entire GLA. Oh course, I have maybe 8 Minimates I haven't taken apart for customs, so as long as I get fodder I'm pretty happy with the current direction of Marvel Minimates.

Now that you mention it, yes, that would be perfect. Somebody get on this! I think I'm gonna have to get one of these Hulks when they come out just to see what I can come up with.

Hey thanks! Tips? Sure! First off, I did sculpt a lot of the hairpieces, though there are some exceptions. Scott = Frodo Lucas Lee = Old Man Logan Todd Ingram = Demitri Roxy = Rachel Grey (This could easily be used for Knives & Ramona) Though almost all of these did have some mods done of them, like cutting the points off of Frodo's ears. And yeah, Scott's bass is sculpted too, but try finding the one from the Cheff Duff set, it's the same style. Finally, for painting, try and find one specific panel or photo to base the Minimate off of, particularly for the face. Hope that helps, and good luck! As for Ramona, just keep an eye out in the next couple of weeks

This is too fantastic. Though it's amazing they had such a small audience, it would have been amazing to have had all those seats filled to see the court papers served. Now, I have a terrible memory, so maybe somebody could give me a refresher. All I remember is that I was asked by Shocker to make some sample custom Shockinis, I think for show purposes to promote interest, it was on older forums. This was before the product was released (I use that term loosely). I said no (I had to have been freaking 15 or under at the time!), so I've always kinda wonder what sort of mess I didn't get myself into. Any other customizers here get that offer?, or am I just making crazy stuff up?
