The villager from the Universal Monsters wave might make a good base for Caretaker.

Actually those are Ultimate Green Goblin hands. It's one of the things I think I want to change though.Ive already resculpted the hood and repainted the hammer. One day Ill post something when Im sure its finished.

I recently got a second Kree soldier and realized that there was nobody to boss them around. So here he is, Ronan theAccuser. He is a long overdue classic villain (or hero if you're reading thecurrent Cosmic Marvel stuff). I think I may tweek him a bit though There are afew things Im not totally happy with. You were so right! While I was at TRU today I found the Jak two pack and the bag works perfectly. I painted it yellow to be comicaccurate but it looked really good without any paint at all. I like to have two of each, to flank the leader. Super Skrull has minions. When MODOK arrives hell have two bee keepers. I have two Kree waiting on a Ronan the Accuser. My poor custom Von Strucker only has one HYDRA Agent to boss around though and Doom, but one Doombot to guard him. Now if you want to talk Cylons, I have at least 15 of those guys.

Finally a reason to get Jak! Now if only I can find him. After months of peg warming I think he finally sold out at my TRU. I do think they still have a Sue Richards though. The guys were right about Deathlok. He needs his nose. It's really one of his standout features and he looks odd without it.

I'm thinking there will be a SDCC (or maybe some other exclusive) box set. It'll have Guardian, Sassy, Puck, and Northstar or Aurora. If we are EXTREMELY lucky well get a follow up with Shaman and the missing twin. This will nullify everything I've done and force me to do Marina and Snowbird.

Dazzler. I've been meaning to make her for a long time. The 70's version was always my favorite. I saw a chick cosplaying her at NYCC this past summer. I nearly swallowed my gum. Eventually maybe I'll make some skates for her. I banged out Shaman since he didn't require any painting. He was always one of my favorite characters on Alpha Flight. He should have been Sorcerer Supreme rather than Brother Voodoo. Here is a group shot of the team as of now. I guess when I get in the mood to paint I'll do Marina. Eventually I'll need to do Snowbird. She's going to be tough.

You might want to use the full-body Minimate template Luke worked up and draw the boot/glove details. I've used it for a few tough details and I was happy with the results. You can find it here. Thanks for letting me know about that template. It really helped out a lot on these guys.The starburst on the hip is in too odd of an area for a sticker and I dont have the time to give them a proper paint job, so for now im going to leave them as is. Next up is Shaman and Marina hopefully I can get to them soon.

Here is my updated 100% complete Deathlok. You guys were right, he needed the nose. I also changed his mouth per youbastards suggestion. I also darkened his skin tone, did some touch up painting and added his shoulder pads. I think he looks a ton better. Thanks for all the input. It made all the difference on this one.

I really struggled with the nose detail on Deathlok. I'm not happy with his skin tone so I'll add a nose when I reprint the head. Hopefully I'll have time soon to finish everything up. It's hard to find time chasing a nine month old around all day long! I'll definitely look at those templates. I was thinking of cutting out the patterns for the twins from the sticker paper scraps.

Sassys hands/wrists came from the Star Trek monster the mugato. The white ape with the horn. His feet and chest too. Though the chest was heavily modified and sculpted. His head is actually from a 2.5. It's the skull Grodd came with. If I used the 3 inch head I wouldn't be able to get that no neck look Sassy has. He's a really tricky character to get right if (like myself) you're not a sculptor. Can't wait for DSTs take on him. Northstar and his crazy sister are far from done. I need to paint their wrist and boot cuffs, their shoulders and the starbursts on their hips.

Yeah... I realized that after I got all the fodder for Sassy...

Deathlok. Again not 100% I need to sculpt the shoulder pads. I may adjust some of his colors too because Im not sure im happy with how it printed out.

Alpha Flight... Well some of them. Im still not done. These are my first customs using stickers. Im quite happy with them. So much easier than decals. I need to fill in a few more details on Northstar and Aurora but I was so happy with the stickers I posted a pic anyway.

Magneto has some good fodder parts. Specifically the helmet. I like Rogues cloak too. I didn't know if that's worth picking up this whole set though.

Just got my Dormammu this afternoon. I was worried i wouldnt be able to find him being the short packed set. I couldnt give a damn about the rest of them. I was surprised that his outfit was purple and not black though... I guess I need to adjust the color on my monitor. I really like him though. Very well done.

I felt left out so I figured I'd jump in on the 616 Odin bandwagon. I've had him sitting here on my desk, sort of finished for a while now. My goal is a Simonsonesque Odin. I need to either give him two pack BRB's boots or paint these box set ones. I cant seem to bring myself to do either. I'm not too happy with the gloves as well, which is pretty much why I havent posted him sooner... For better or worse here he is.
