  1. I would love a Wilford Brimley Minimate. He would complete my Cocoon diarama. For my sensible guess I'm going to have to say either Star Trek or Stargate. For my wacky guess I'm going to say Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Fairy Tale mates (Little Red Riding Hood! Hansel! Gretel! The Big Bad Wolf!)
  2. I'm very curious to know the line-up of characters. This could be the closest we'll ever get to a "civilian" wave of Minimates.
  3. Sorry. But tooth fairies, leprechauns and the Easter bunny do still exist, though.
  4. At this point it's incredibly doubtful that the variant Psylocke will ever come out. Toy Biz stopped Marvel Legends production last year, and no one is receiving any new Marvel Legends figures from them. So if it hasn't been seen in stores somewhere already, it's probably not going to be seen. That includes the variant Psylocke, Power Man and blue costume Wasp.
  5. Congratulations to all the winners!
  6. I was able to trade for one before Christmas. Worth the effort spent to get him.
  7. Based on the fact that they so far have liked to release these as sets of four, I have no doubt that they will release Invisible Woman with the other three. And she'll probably come with Doom.
  8. Check out this link for pictures: Super Hero Squad on Hasbro's site They have pictures of the first two waves, and the Fantastic Four figures that will probably be in the third wave.
  9. Targets here put the Toy Biz stuff on clearance on the 26th at 30%, then dropped it to 50% during that week. By January 1, the good stuff was gone.
  10. I don't know if they'll be anything left to go to Big Lots. The leftover Marvel Toy Biz stuff around here flew off the shelves when Target put them on clearance. Now all that's left is a few Spider-Man villians. Same story with the Wal-Marts around here - the only thing left is a few AOA Sabertooths. Even at $5, they refuse to go away.
  11. Frickin' brilliant. I will be stealing this idea.
  12. May 2007 be better than 2006 for everyone. And full of new Minimates. Like Thor. Thor would be cool.
  13. I am kinda underwhlemed by these. The Ghost Rider looks nice, and the Johnny Blaze / Mephistopheles two-pack is growing on me (I think it's Johnny's jumpsuit and helmet), but the rest are kinda blah. The Caretaker / Roxanne two-pack is completely skippable. We do get our first Minimate fedora-style hat, though. Good for customs at least. And while accessories are great, what's with the shovels? Is there a climatic scene of ditch-digging in the movie?
  14. I'm on it! Luckily I cleaned out the Minimates from three of the Targets around here, so I'm sure to get these in soon.
  15. Hmmm.... On one hand, it's a neatly-detailed Minimate of a guy with a neat-looking trenchcoat. On the other hand, it's a Minimate of a guy in a trenchcoat - how is that interesting? Neat cane, though.
  16. Hmmmm...... 1.) Emerald City Comicon - blue 2.) Iceman (blue) 3.) Green Lantern (John Stewart)
  17. Oh, it's the New Super Mario Bros. I think it rocks pretty hard, and I never played Mario. My wife starts playing and I don't see her for hours. And thanks for the list of games! We'll be sure to check them out.
  18. I got my wife a Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas because she really wanted something that could play Mario and Brain Age. She has fallen in love with the DS, and I'm getting a kick out of playing it too. My question for anyone else who has the DS Lite - what other games do we need? We have Super Mario World, Brain Age and Sonic. Not looking for a specific genre of game - just want to know what games other people enjoy and recommend. Thanks!
  19. Christmas was a good time this year - haning out with the family, eating too much, and throwing my back out on the in-laws crappy spare bed. At least I got some good loot: - Hulk / Thing Minimate 2-pack - Spider-Man Marvel Icons figure - Justice League Unlimited season 1 - Lost season 2 DVDs - stocking full of candy - Assorted t-shirts - a Dremel And my wife got me a new iPod so I can rock out at work now.
  20. Mr. T is really 3" tall? How did I not know that? I suppose he could only be 3" tall to contain all the fool-pitying and gold-chain lovin'.
  21. Like Insanespidey, I just want to say thanks to everyone who voted for my desktop. I had a lot of fun putting it together. And big congrats to Ivan and Insanespidey!
  22. Actually, I thought you'd figure it out because I signed my name on the customs form. Yes, it was me. Glad you like your present! Holiday Wolverine was pretty fun to make, and should look good in any Minimate collection or nativity scene. And to everyone, have a Merry Christmas!
  23. Top 5 Things You Don't Want To Find In Your Stocking: 1) Razor sharp broken glass 2) Live bees 3) Raw chicken 4) Lump of coal 5) Human toe
  24. Nope, not me. Like I'd ever give away precious customizing fodder
  25. Start opening your gifts - I want to know what everyone got!
