I think the NOW! designs are eye sores, so I'll probably be passing on these. I am glad everyone else seems to like it, just not for me. Thats said, I do like the Iron Man so I might pick him up.

Highly doubt it will be all X-Men since we just got an all X-Men wave. My guess is a random wave with maybe a couple stragglers from the wave 50 poll thrown in.

Classic all the way. I find new costumes take themselves way too seriously. Comics are a fairly ridiculous medium, so the bright goofy stuff fits right in, its a genre convention. I just hung my head when I saw a lot of the "now" designs. That kind of stuff might work for the movies, but they look so out of place on the printed page.

Mandarin is a "yellow peril" villain of which was tasteless even by 70s standards. I'm surprised he was even used in the first place since he doesn't thematically fit Iron Man. He's one of those villains who just gets dragged out every now and then because he's been around forever, instead of because someone has a story hook for him.

I agree. The comic is one of the weakest Now! offerings and I think the last Elektra and Deadpool (s) we got were pretty much perfect. Red Hulk is a character I have no patience for but a new General Ross sounds good. Curious to see how the transformation gimmick works since the color schemes do not match at all.

Loki's cape and hairpiece might've been new, not 100% sure. Nope. Cape was reused from MVC Thor and hairpiece goes as far back as the first Archangel.

One thing you want to remember about Best of Waves is that they're heavy on part re-use. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen any new pieces debut in a best of wave. I realize it's just wishlisting, but the classic Cyclops had the earmuff buttons on his visor. The AVX Cyclops does not, we would need a new piece.

I wouldn't count out the yet-to-be-revealed IM3 one. I would. I appreciate it for what it is, but I'm not into the movie stuff at all. To me visually, even an A+++ movie set can't compete with a B+ comic set.

That's awesome! Have you tried the hairpiece from Mole Man? It's very "toupee-ish."

The big guy was the Inhuman Devlor, he could transform into a giant beast. You know, cuz every 90's team needed a beast guy. I'm pretty sure he has never been seen or mentioned since Fantastic Force ended.

Posted this in the trade thread, figured I would here too. If anybody is making FF She-Hulk's and has an extra Marvel vs. Capcom She-Hulk hand to spare, let me know and I'll see if we can work something out.

Got mine today and I may say, this is an absolute winner. Reminds me a lot of the first Alpha Flight set. In that not only are we getting much needed characters that look great, but there is nothing at all to complain about. Joints are snug but not stuck, paint aps are perfect, stands are the newer hard plastic as seen in the Best of 2 wave, accessories fit perfect, just great work all around. I know we're still early in the year, but it's gonna be tough to dethrone this as "best box set" of 2013.

Not sure if Wolverine would count as TTA since it was called "many faces of Wolverine." And Zack are these two previously unannounced TTA sets? We've known about the upcoming Hulk for quite some time. I'm struggling to think of who we would see featured in one of these. I generally think Through the Ages sets are reserved for A-list only, but we did just get Venom and I don't think too many people would have predicted he would be a candidate for one. I won't wishlist but this has me pretty excited! Same with the "unique" one!

Finally! Finally! Finally! Snagged the whole series. I know for a fact at least two cases were put out, but only saw one Heralds set. Apparently they've had these for at least a month, but didn't put them out because there were already a couple "series 14" on the shelf. I can't confirm but I'm assuming they have the same SKU as 14? On the plus side, these rang up almost a dollar cheaper then all the other new sets I've seen. It would be much simpler if future waves had different SKU's but I'm not sure how much of that is in DST's control. On the subject of the Heralds, is anybody's Air-Walker impossible to strand on the flight base? Either the holes in the feet are too wide/shallow, or the peg on the base is too narrow. I noticed the same thing on the Phoenix Five Cyclops. Just wondering if anyone else has run into the same issue.

There was some interesting stuff in a lot of those "not really" Marvel Legends lines.
